I have narrow feet and just now recovering from my fourth foot surgery. Both big toes are now fused (first MTP joint.). These shoes are about all I can wear. Comfortable without being too squishy. Great traction on wet surfaces. These were recommended by my orthopedic surgeon and I noticed many of the staff had a version of Hola shoes.

I use this shoe for work and leisure. I have arthritis in the ankle and bone separation in the ankle. This shoe does wonders for my feet

These are great shoes. As mentioned in the title, these are my third pair. I wear these every third day of the year. On the other days, I wear my brown pair or my Hupana's. And occasionally, I will wear some UGGs. And when I decide I need a new pair, i.e., I have worn down the soles or the insides or just gotten them too dirty, I buy a new pair, then recycle the old pair into work around the house shoes.

I've suffered with plantar fasciitis for many years in my left foot. But, about four months ago both of my feet started to really hurt by the end of a long day on tile floors. So, I finally listened to a coworker and bought a pair of Hokas TOR Summit. The pain didn't go away immediately, but it did become less and less. And, after about two months, I've become sold on Hokas! No more hobbling around. I should have gotten a 1/2 size to a whole size shorter than my running shoes, but otherwise, they're a wonderful shoe!

been using Hoka's for several years, probably not wear anything else. Others wore well for over two years.

A friend suggested I try HOKA. I need a wide toe box and very rarely find shoes that are truly comfortable. I am in the marble and granite quarry business was looking for a new pair of hiking style shoes that are waterproof for when I visit the quarries. My HOKAs are without question the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Unless I am wearing a suit, I wear them every day now. I'm super glad I found these and am now an avid HOKA fan!

Birthday present for my active son who lives in Oregon.
Right out of the box and out on the trail, many happy exclamations about foot fit/comfort, and of course,
"thanks, mom!".

I use these shoes in the U.S. and Mexico generally for walking. In the U.S., Minnesota, it is a good inclement weather shoe. Rain, Snow, cold weather they work for me. In Mexico, where we stay for 3 months, this shoe work both on cobblestone streets, dirt trail and concrete streets. It is stable and cushy. I chose the grey with black colors to work with the black casual shorts I wear. I think these shoes would even work as golf shoes in a pinch. The Waterproof nature is a plus. I have had these for over a year so this is a seasoned review. As a senior citizen (70) this shoe gives me the traction and comfort I need.

I had a bad case of planar facitious. I did get treatment for it and it improved. I ordered the Tor Summit from a local "runners Alley" store and I'm loving them. It's like walking on air. They are very well made and look terrific as well. I would not hesitate to buy again. I normally take a 10.5 shoe and that's what I ordered. They were a little tight/small. I exchanged for 11.0 and they are perfect. I would highly recommend them

I use the shoe for working in the yard . The most important thing to me is comfort . I have had special made orthopedic shoes that are not this comfortable . The heel was a little lose but I just needed to lace them up better . My 1st pair were Clifton 3s . I am slowly converting my shoes to Hokaoneones . Next some boots

Battle tested on the Havasupai trail backpacking. They worked great. I will admit that for super long distances, they may not be the right solution but they have worked for when I want a little more support than a trail running shoes but don't want to go to the weight of a full hiking boot. The waterproofing fabric seems to do a nice job keeping the dust out which helps reduce blistering.

As I have developed problems with the ball of my foot I have been looking for extra cushioning in a work/trail shoe. The Summit is absolutely the best I have found. If the shoe came with one or two pairs of lace hooks it would be perfect.
It appears that Hoka has discontinued the mid height version of the Summit. Please bring back an extra cushioning mid boot with good ankle padding/support.

These hikers are fantastic. I originally bought hoka's runners so I thought I'd give these a shot. Definitely impressed with the grip of the bottoms as well as the support when hiking rocks and uneven terrain. Feeling great about these shoes.

I am a 68 year old outdoor enthusiast. Years of orthopedic related injuries and normal aging had begun to take its toll severely limiting physical activity. My physical therapist suggested researching Hoka. My shoes arrived two weeks before a family retreat at the Grand Canyon. The Hoka saved the week. Lots of comfortable hiking on varied terrain as well as concrete. The cushioning effect provided exceptional pain control. I've been given a new lease on the outdoors! Now looking at Hoka for a pair with more ankle support and protection for uneven rocky terrain.

The TOR Summit WP is the best light hiker I've ever owned. Give as a gift in 2015 and worn almost every day for the past year. I wear these shoes for work, hiking, walking the dog, you name it. I'm a heavy guy and even after a long day of walking/standing my feet never hurt. I will but this shoe again and you should too!
