They cause bistres on the outside of the feet - the part that is in the external curve of the boots

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the all black version. There are more comments requesting these so I'm not alone. Some people require all black for their job and these were the best but I can't wear them in any other color!

Bad blisters and these shoes are only going to last a few more hikes before the cushioning is gone. I'm 280 pounds, will be spending that kind of money on legit boots next time instead. Heel-cup sits too low, lead to back pain

I am returning these boots because, while hiking, a stick punctured the mid-sole and punctured my foot deeply. Also, they did not repel water as advertising.

I had so high hopes for this product. Nope! I had to return. I have their Gen 2 sneakers and were hoping they would be as comfortable. I have many issues with my feet. Bone spur is the one I cater to the most. These hiking boots were so thin that they hurt the sides of my feet extremely! The right foot especially. They were also not cushiony at all! The website said they had more "plush" cushion than the sneakers I have but they weren't. I needed hiking boots so I tried to "bite the bullet" and wear them anyways but they were so uncomfortable that I couldn't forget the pain from being too thin and not cushiony at all. The only pro was how light they were. But that wasn't enough for me to keep them. Extremely disappointed with Hoka's product.

I have sensitive bottom of feet. Previous 2 pairs had soft cushion soles, that is why I bought them, thought all Hoka's soft cushion. A few hours of wear bottom of feet ached like when I wear hard sole shoes.
Disappointed.

Loved them for 6 to 8 months of light use. Then the material began to breakdown and loose support. Now they hurt my feet and place a lot of pressure against my Achilles tendon to the point I cannot walk in them. I would not purchase these again, they simply don't hold their support.

I've bought almost every know hiking boot they make and sad to say the brand I normally buy were not available, the salesperson talked me into buying these and what a mistake. They are expensive and they do not last. If you hike more then 5 miles bring a different pair of boots because you will be ripping these off and walking barefoot if you don't.
I wish I never bought them and that I could have my money back

Very comfortable but completely wore out after a month of everyday use and by everyday use I mean just walking around like a normal person not hiking trails not climbing mountains just walking around. What a joke!

I went on a backpacking trip of a life time to the wind rivers in Wyoming. Halfway through the hike these shoes hurt my ankles so bad that I couldn't hike any longer I had to set up camp and rest my feet over night. I was hoping the pain would stop but every time I would put these shoes on it felt like somebody was putting a knife in my ankle.
These shoes ruined my trip!!! I would never recommend these shoes to anyone they are the worst hiking boots I have ever owned.

I want to like them, especially for the price... However after wearing them hiking, casual, and working, they are not that good. To tight across the toe box on my left foot, cuts the circulation off putting my foot to sleep. The outside bottom middle of my right foot hurts when i wear them. Tried taking the insole out. Not a good idea. Thought by wearing them more I'd break them in. They were better, still not great!! Couldn't recommend them to others, in fact, would voice these same thoughts.

I was very excited about my M TOR ULTRA HI WP shoes. I researched them heavily and could not wait for the delivery. A severe pain grew in my right foot from the beginning. I wore them for 2 weeks hoping I could break them in. The problem got worse. I contacted HOKA for help and we agreed to try a smaller size. This did not help. I have called in and asked 4 times for technical assistance to understand why this shoe is hurting my foot as I have NEVER had this problem before. But I am still waiting to hear from tech support.

Comfortable with no break-in. Wore scouting and elk hunting. But after 3-days of hiking they leaked like a sieve. Will try the replacement pair to see if they are better.
The boots breathed very well and I did not get sweaty feet, but when the conditions got rainy and wet, so did my feet.
After returning home I poured water in the boots to see where the leaking may have occurred and it was extensive everywhere over both boots.
