I have worn these boots a lot now but these are my least favorites boots I have ever bought. They feel like lead weights on my feet and a year later they still hurt my feet. The leather still hasn't got soft. The left shoe presses my toes in way that's so uncomfortable, I end up folding my toes inwards for the first few minutes. They look great but are extremely uncomfortable. I plan on getting rid of these.

Disclaimer: I bought the black leather/suede version from Saks Off 5th (which I assume is an authorized retailer). These boots looked exactly like what I wanted: tailored, slim calf, dainty ankle, equestrian vibe. Unfortunately upon arrival they were painfully stiff, pinchy in the toes, very wide in the heel, wide in the ankle, and wide in the calf. (I don't mean wide-calf size; I mean the calf portion of a normal boot has about 3 inches too much material.) After breaking them in they are now somehow too big in the foot--but still pinchy--and my heel slops around in them like I'm wearing galoshes. The ankle is too wide and has started to sag. They also gap a bit too much at the top. And that's not even starting on the blisters and corns they've caused. Terrible, I wish I had never bought these.

So unbelievably stiff and uncomfortable. Can hardly walk in them! Honestly worst pair of boots ever worn!!!!!

I never write reviews, but I couldn't keep quiet about this boot. I ordered a size 8. I have a narrow foot, these boots even fit tight on me in the toe box that my toes were so squashed and hurt in the five minutes I wore them. One would think that maybe I needed a bigger boot. However, when I walked in them my heel was sloshing around and would lift up and rub against the back of the boot. Have never experienced a fit such as this. The quality seemed to be there but fit well below average

These boots are beautiful to look at, and that's where the compliments end. I've seen a lot of reviews that say these boots are stiff and I've never seen such an understatement. I only wore them out once and I had to get drunk just to endure the evening. I had insane blisters on my heels and across my toes. If this had been mid-evil times I think they would have given people sentenced to execution the choice between drawing and quartering, or wearing these boots until they wanted to kill themselves. I can not in good conscience recommend these to anyone. They are absolutely excruciating.
