I love this coat. Ordered offline without trying on after trying on similar styles in store. The coat fits great, sleeves are a little long but that isn't a bother with cold Michigan winters. Coat is warm but feels lightweight without being puffy. Very happy with my choice.

The coat is extremely warm and comfy with roomy pockets. The other night it felt like -15 degrees Fahrenheit and I did not feel it a single bit. The omni-heat inside traps your heat in wonderfully. For size, I stand at about 5' 2'', ordered a small. The sleeves are a tad bit longer than my fingers but I like it, it keeps my hands warm. It comes to about mid-thigh in length. The only things I have a little complaint about is the collar and hood. The collar has a tenancy to stick up, it doesn't want to lay down nicely when you don't have it zipped up all the way so time to time to pokes me under my jaw. The fur on the hood sticks out funny on the ends, instead of shaping with the hood it makes it kinda looks like an oval and can be funny looking time to time. Otherwise, this coat is amazing, I'm not going to have to worry about the north cold when walking around for college.

I LOVE this jacket! It's fits true to size, and is extremely compfortable - not too heavy and not too light. It keeps me warm even in 18F. The fur lining on the collar is so soft... I use it every day! I've only had it for a couple of weeks now so I can't attest for durability, but the overall quality feels and looks like it will last a long time. I am giving it 5 stars without a doubt.

I absolutely love this jacket. I had never owned a longer jacket before and being of shorter stature I was worried about how it would look on me. It fits and looks great and I get so many compliments on it.

Read many reviews before buying. I am a 5.1 small-frame woman and ordered the india ink in xs. It fits great, even though often jackets feel too large on me. It looks exactly like the picture too. So my two main concern because of reviews I read before buying were both untrue and I was happily surprised with the great look and warmth of this jacket. Perfect for a true colorado mountain winter!

I absolutely LOVE this coat. I am 5'11 and weigh about 155 lbs. I have an athletic build with broader shoulders and usually have a hard time finding coats that are long enough and that aren't too snug in the shoulders. I ordered a medium and was pleasantly surprised with how well this coat fit. I still have plenty of room underneath for thick sweaters, but the coat fits nicely and does not appear baggy or slouchy. I noticed some other reviews complaining about the fur around the hood. I will say that it's not as thick as the fur on some of the other Columbia coats that I own, but it still looks very nice. I ordered the coat in black and it is actually more of a charcoal gray which I ended up liking better anyway. The coat is extremely warm and hits me on my upper thigh so it keeps you covered even when bending or sitting. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!

Love love this coat. Looks hip. Has warm sherpa material on the collar which keeps your neck warm. Soft stretchy cotton for wrists and long enough to pull over hands. I'm 5'2 165 to 170 lbs and a Medium fits exact -I'm small on top and tad thicker on waist and thicker bottom. Length is mid-thigh. Coat is keeping me very warm in 25 degree weather. The only thing I would add is side pockets since pockets are in the front. Lots of small but nice features.

This is the best Columbia Jacket I have had so far. I live in MN & it gets so cold here. I take public transportation and I never have to worry about being cold. It runs small so go a size up. the only bad thing is if you order Black it isn't really black it is more of a heather grey. I didn't like that so I exchanged it for a Plum purple & I am so much happier with the color.

Columbia has great products, the omniheat is one of my favorites! This is my second jacket from them and I have no complaints. I am someone who is cold very easily, and I have found that in the sub zero NY winters I stay completely warm with a thin tshirt underneath!

I had been looking at this parka for a while and finally ordered it during the Cyber sale. I have also tried and returned several high end parkas for the last couple of years. They were often too constricting across the shoulders, limiting movement or a little too short in the sleeves or shapeless. I am 5'9 130 lb.with slightly broad shoulders and the Medium fit's perfect. The adjustable sides give it some shape. It is so comfy and stylish and warm. I got the black after reading the reviews that it was more of a gray color and I looove it. The quality is stellar and I feel like this will last for years without looking dated. Thank you Zappos!!

I love this coat! It fits great and has a slightly fitted cut, so it's not so bulky but is incredibly warm. I am 5'4" and 140lbs and got a size M, it fits perfectly. I'm so picky about coats and have been looking for the right one for a few years. I ordered the peatmoss color and love it!

I was looking for a jacket that would protect me from the cold winter in MN and this jacket was perfect! I'm tall (5'10) so I got the large and it was perfect arm length and covered my bottom. The outside material is amazing; no liquid made it through. I got so many compliments from friends on this jacket as well.

I love this coat! It's cute, it fits beautifully, and man is it ever warm! I work in downtown Pittsburgh (which is basically a frozen wind tunnel in the winter), but I literally feel no cold everywhere this coat is, it's a marvel of fashion and function as far as I am concerned.

After 31 years in Florida, I moved to the Cleveland area...clearly clueless to cold!!! I am 5'3" - 90 lbs. and I ordered the X Small. The jacket is amazing! Extremely warm and comfortable. The fur on the hood covers your face perfectly in the wind, however you can roll the fur back if you do not need your face completely covered, yet keep the hood on. The sleeves tend to be a little long, but I prefer that. The jacket zippers up tightly to your neck and keeps you so warm. The back of the jacket is as cute as the front and everywhere I go, I receive a compliment! I love the jacket and highly recommend it!!

My previous Columbia coat lasted 6 years until the zipper busted. Instead of getting it fixed, I opted for a new one. I'm 5' 10" with long arms and I ordered a medium in green. Fits great with room for layers and has been keeping me warm for the last few weeks. We've had temps in the negatives and I still am able to walk around outside for a bit without feeling cold. The pockets in the front are something to get used to. My old jacket had top and side entry pockets, which is much more preferred. Also, I wish the jacket was a little longer to cover my legs a bit more. Overall great buy though. I'm very pleased with the quality, color and warmth and have received many compliments.

I haven't had cold enough weather to really try it out but it seems very toasty when I did try it on. The faux fur hood attachment was taken off immediately as the hood is too roomy and the fur obscured my vision except for my toes. An extra woolen hat or head band would help fill up the space and make the hood fit better. Being an older, more hip-wide woman, I found the bottom part a bit snug. I would be nice to have a more "womanly" selection when it comes to sizing. Extra lg doesn't mean extra tall, broader shoulders and longer arms. How about - "robust hip" sizes. We're all different.

Living in Pa and finally getting a minus 2 below 0 with the wind chill I have worn the coat for the 1st time after getting it. Warmest coat I ever got! Absolutely love it. Fits true to size I would buy. Can't say enough how much I love it. No chill comes through. The hood is a bit flimsy but nothing a scarf or something around the neck can't fix. Highly recommend this! Would love to own 2 different colors!

There were only size larges available in this jack so I was a bit skeptical when I ordered it, but upon arrival I was quite pleased with the fit, it has a nice pull on the inside so you can sinch the waist The back of the jacket is longer and covers your assets nicely,The hood also has adjustable straps so you can control how far it covers your face, I love this jacket it looks great and is very warm

This is my third Columbia coat and it is by far my favorite. It's so warm and looks great!

FIT: I am 5'9 and 123 lbs. Initially ordered the XS which I returned because the width of the shoulders was a bit small and the material cut into my armpits. Exchanged for a small and it fits well. Definitely good for tall, slim girls as the arms and body are long. The arm length of the small is perfect (XS would have worked but the small covers my wrists even when stretching my arm and pulling the coat material). XS also would have been fine around the body; just the armpit and shoulder areas were tight. WARMTH: I believe this will be very warm. I am ALWAYS cold and this has kept me comfortable in 30 degree weather and I need to take it off when inside shopping for more than 5 minutes. Haven't had a chance to test it out in colder weather but I've stayed warmer in 30 degree weather than I have in any other jacket I've owned. Was lusting over a Canada Down jacket but I'm very happy with this budget friendly alternative. The omni heat must be working!

I recently moved from a warmer climate to northern colorado and needed a very warm coat, but didn't want a tacky looking huge one. This jacket is perfect! It keeps wind, snow, rain, and coldness out completely. I'm most comfortable when the outdoor temp is around 90 degrees, but with just a little jacket underneath or even only a long sleeve shirt under this jacket, I can walk downtown or on a mountain in the single digit temps and actually be comfortable and enjoy my time outside all year!!! Plus the olive color goes with nearly anything and I get tons of compliments on it.
