I absolutely love this jacket! Where I'm from it never snows or gets below 30 degrees. I'm moving to Massachusetts in January and needed a nice thick coat to get me through the winter. Not only am I impressed by the way it looks, but it's also very comfy and I can move in it. Being a busty girl, it's hard to find jackets that fit me in the waist and in my chest. I love that the waist cinches so it flatters my figure but also that it zips past my chest and still has a lot of room for me to move in the arms. I can already tell that this jacket will keep me warm through the winter and I'm excited to go test it out in the snow. Also I saw reviews that people didn't like the front pockets, but in my opinion they aren't bad. The pockets are very wide so it doesn't really feel awkward to keep yours hands in the pockets. This jacket is awesome

This jacket is multifunctional, adaptive to different environments. It's very windproof and avoids body heat from losing even in snowy weathers.

I purchased this parka for walking my dog in Minnesota winter. One feature I looked for was to have my butt covered (don't laugh :) and this does. The pocket height/angle will need getting accustomed to, no big deal. I really wish the upper arms were better lined as that's the only part of me gets cold. So far -- very cold & wind is yet to come. Started with a small that fit like a coat, traded for a medium which leaves room for a sweatshirt. No matter how warm the parka layers are a necessity when walking a dog that doesn't want to go inside.

I bought the Olive coat in a size small. I am 5'2 and the jacket flt me well. I do wish the pockets were sideways. But it still keeps my hands warm because it has a fleece lining on the inside. Also the faux fur on the hood looked weird on my coat, so I decided to remove it. Other than that I really love the jacket!

I went to Alaska and needed a great coat for warmth and protection from the elements obviously! This coat is that coat, so warm. True to size. I am 5'8' 130lbs. Sleeves are nice and long with added cuffs.

This jacket was everything that I hoped it would be! It is so insulated and warm but not so bulky that you cant move or be functional in it. The length is a little longer which keeps my whole body warm. The sleeves have a great cuff at the ends that is comfortable and keeps my arms and hands warmer. The hood is heavy and quilted and very roomy so that my head is never exposed. They style and fit is great because I can wear it with anything anytime and it has simple but sturdy adjustable waist straps. Waterproof and warm! Does shed a few down feathers when I take it off but that doesn't come close to outweighing all of the positives about this product! I highly recommend making this your next winter jacket.

Purchased for family member's use in cold winter climate in southern Germany and for use on the slopes. It performs both functions well and is the perfect coat for the rain, sleet, and snow we get here from Nov to Mar-Apr. Paired with the right wet weather footgear and my family member is very happy with the fit and functionality of the coat. Strongly recommend.

My wife purchased this coat and LOVES it. The fit was great ( she is a size 14 and got an XL) and all the detailing and buttons and snaps she loved. The only thing is, we ordered this like a week ago and the coat we received did not have the orange around the collar, so I don't know if this is an outdated pic or what, I guess it's a good thing though if that is deterring you from buying this jacket!

I love this coat for walking the dog in cold and snowy days. I love the length and don't get the cold air up my back. The hood is perfect for me. I like to wear ear muffs and the hood keeps the wind out. The hood is large but I like that. It is a nice warm jacket. Jacket is waterproof too!!!

I just ordered this jacket because I am moving back to Minnesota, where the winters can be brutally cold and windy! I am very excited to test it in the frozen tundra, but for now it is a very warm and great jacket for out here in Portland, OR. I definitely recommend doing the sizing chart. I am always in-between a Small and Medium because I don't like my jackets being super loose on me nor do I like them super snug or short in the arms. Also the coloring is definitely off. I ordered the Black and it looks like the Gravel or Graphite Grey. Its a really nice color, and I don't mind the grey, but I would plan on all the colors being a little different. So for a reference point. I am 5'6, 145 lbs, athletic build, longer arms, my chest is 34D. I ordered a Medium, and I think it fits very well all around. Its not to bulky with just a T-shirt, but not to small where I can still layer up with a hoodie. Enjoy!

I go to school in the upper peninsula, so I have to deal with very harsh winters, like -40 Degrees and 2 feet of snow harsh. This jacket is super warm and stylish. Normally for women's winter jackets you have to either select style or warmth, but this jacket you don't. The only bad thing about this jacket is the pockets are more stylish than functional and the colors are slightly off from the photo.

I tried on several coats, but chose this one because it was so light weight, but very warm. It is not only down filled, but has the Omni-Tech silver lining for extra warmth. I am only 5"4 , but this coat fit me perfect, (size L). Important note, not all of the winter jackets are waterproof , this one is. Many are water repellant. The jacket is flattering, not boxy at all. So glad I decided on this jacket. Let it snow!

I love this coat! It fits perfectly, is warm, flattering and a great color! I got the gravel color-- online it looks more green but in person, it's less "hunter green" and more of a deep hunter green. The Omni-reflectant lining inside makes it so warm, and it's not too bulky. I wore it today with a thin sweater and it felt perfect. I'm 5'10, 150lbs, long torso, and it fit perfectly. My only complaint is that in the picture online, it shows a reddish/orange lining near the hood, and the one I received had a grey colored one. Kind of a bummer as I was looking forward to the color combo.

This jacket is amazing! You can tell it is going to last forever. Extra warm! I love the style, because it is not too sporty. Black is actually more of grey but looks pretty anyway!

I have always liked Columbia products mostly for their style. But the quality of this coat was far from what I was expecting. And I was expecting a great buy to begin with. I was looking for a heavy duty winter coat for my daughter. Who is picky, absolutely love it. You guys made both father who was looking for quality and daughter who was looking for style very happy.

I bought this coat specifically to hike, climb, explore & stay warm and protected from the elements in ICELAND. This coat went above and beyond my expectations. In snow, underneath waterfalls, in ice caves, on top of glaciers, etc.. I was warm and dry thanks to my coat. I would recommend to everybody, I'm extremely pleased! I'm 5'4 116lbs. and it fit perfectly.

I have been living in LA for the last 5 years, so I am very spoiled with the weather in the rest of the world. I purchased the jacket in December because it was on sale, thinking in my next travel to Norway in February. Norway! Yes, I went to Norway with this jacket (-4C, not that bad, for a person who did not live in LA) and it was perfect. I was never cold outside, and I did not use thermal first layers, just a normal first layer and a sweater. Also it is long enough, so my tights never got cold (definitely a plus for me).

This coat is very warm. The fit is more tailored than expected but very comfortable. The lining is really crazy metallic. The hood has a strap on the back to size it better to your head. All in all I'm very pleased with it

This jacket is so warm, perfect for negative degree weather we have in Chicago. I dont have to wear heavy layers underneath or even a scarf because the neck lining is so warm. I also get a lot of compliments and always get asked where I got it. It is worth the money and so well made that it will last for many winters.

I LOVE my new jacket and every Columbia jacket that I have ever owned. The best part of this jacket is that I have long arms and have a hard time finding any jacket that is long enough in the sleeves. When I put this one on, I had another winner. I know the price seems a little high but I can justify the purchase because every Columbia jacket I've owned (this will be my third) has lasted me at least 5 years each.
