I returned these as they were too small. Especially considering I would need to wear a base layer underneath these pants, they were not going to work. Otherwise they were very stylish

The quality and material of the pants are both great. Giving this a 4 star only because the waistband is too loose. Will need to send for alteration. I'm in between sizes and so I chose to size up. Length wise I chose the short version and it is great (I am 163.5cm). The pants look huge and loose but when worn it actually fits just about right (save for the waist area, unsure why it is too loose). It looks big due to the warm inner material within the pants. Pants has many pockets and everything fit for skiing and covering the ski boots.

The adjustable waist is key to make them fit. They run large.

Great quality, small fits tighter in rear and thighs than the size small I got a few years back.

I live in WI and use these pants for both snowshoeing and snowboarding. I've been out shoeing in 30 degrees with 30 MPH winds - walking across open farm fields. I've been out in 10 below with 30 below windchill, as well as in a wet heavy snowfall. They have never let any wind or chill in. They are amazing. I've worn them snowboading multiple times. The are completely waterproof. If you run cold and are always looking for the warmest gear - these pants area a great choice. I'm 5' 7' -150 - per the sizing chart - I was right between the large and extra-large - I like to layer up (which is honestly not necessary in these pants unless it is subzero) - I ordered the extra-large - probably could have gone with the large, but the tabs on the sides allow me to pull the waist in - so they work great. There are a couple of small things Columbia could do to make them better. 1 - add a shoelace clip to the bottom of the legs. 2 - remove the velco attachment by the snaps in the waist and add a metal clasp. And if you want to get really crazy - inner thigh vents would be nice - because these pants get HOT when breaking trail!

I love the color of these pants, and that they come in "short" length. The short is still just a bit too long for me, but is okay with boots on. The fit is also a little off for me. I have a curvy/athletic build. The waist on these are too large causing them to slide down often. Although they are large in the waist, they are snug in the glute/hip area, so I am unable to size down because of that. Otherwise, they are comfy and keep me warm in the snow.

This is a great pair of pants, very warm, great pockets and it has a cinch for the waist which is very useful. However I WISH they had also put a cinch at the ankles or at least an extra snap (it already has one snap) to tighten it and keep the snow out. I chose Large Short, it was too big around the waist but with cinch was great. It was too long and couldn't do anything about it.

Very warm good length for me, Im 5ft 2in and ordered petite. The material is pretty loud and the legs are a bit too wide, that is the reason for 4 stars.

Pants are to correct size, however, they sit lower on the waist than others I've had.

Pants came on time as expected. I got the XL to support having base layers as I am taking a trip to Colorado. These pants have not been used yet but just trying them on the fit is great at waist. The bottoms are a little bulky for my liking but I guess that is because of the boot. Love the pocket options. I know these pants will do the job.

Comfortable snow pants, appropriate length good quality material. The only downside is that as someone who is 5"4 and 125 lbs with wider hips, the legs are appropriately snug however the waist is huge, even with the velcro adjustments. Not meant for curvy bodies.

The pants look great. High quality and comfortable. By experience, the omni-heat is excellent and I can't wait to try it during cold weather this year. The only issue is, despite I followed the size chart, they run too large (I will have to down one or two sizes). I contacted Columbia support and they were very helpful. I am currently in the process of returning and repurchasing these pants, so I'll be updating this review once I have the new ones.

Love Columbia but it's so hard to compare your products online. These had too much 'stuffing' for my use - need something with just the Omini-heat but not the added insulation. Adding the return cost forces me to go elsewhere for future purchases as it's too expensive to keep trying to find exactly what I need from Columbia online.

I bought these in my usual size, short. They're at least 2 inches too long. The waste is a bit snug, too so be advised. That said, I expect these will be perfect for standing in Arctic cold on a Viking cruise to watch the northern lights in Norway in February.

I was excited to purchase the Bugaboo Omni Heat Ski Pants and that they came in Short length. However I ordered the ski pants in a small and they are too big. Called to do return and order the panst in xs short and there are none available in Short. I can only hope there will be a restock so I can purchase them.

I purchased these pants because I have another pair of Columbia pants that I've used for skiing for the last 8 years and have loved them. I have a North Face pair of ski pants, too, but they are also too long. Last year I actually had an issue where my ski pants clipped into my bindings on accident, and my ski popped off unexpectedly while riding (super dangerous!). Enter this year where I really wanted a new pair of ski pants that actually fit my 5'2" frame. I ski faster and more technically than when I started, and cannot risk the same experience of accidental ski loss. These were very similar to my previous Columbia pants, so I trusted I would love them! The fit is good, and the Velcro by the front snaps ensure that these will not pop open when leaning forward ver far. The snaps near the ankle made it easy to clip and adjust my ski boots as needed. I love that these are an improvement from my previous pants in that they have back pockets. I don't utilize my back pockets while skiing, of course, but if I use these pants in hiking in snow, it will be very useful. I really do wish that there was a side pocket, though. The front pockets are rather roomy. As far as fit, I am currently 160 pounds and wear most of my weight in my midsection, with athletic legs. There was plenty of movement in legs available! These fit similarly to my previous pair, which I was able to wear at 145 lbs as well due to the Velcro straps on the inner waist. I love that they manage to fit a solid weight range, as I tend to fluctuate to some degree depending on current diet/recovery from injury, etc. As far as warmth goes, they were perfect! I wore them in 30F blue bird weather with a simple Patagonia Capilene layer and was not too hot. I also wore them for several hours skiing when the wind chill was -5 with gusts up to 40 mph with only a pair of Old Navy fleece lined leggings underneath, and they performed well for this weather as well! There are no gussets, but I tend to be colder than warmer, so this doesn't affect me. Perfect waterproofing to keep the snow and wet out! Overall, an affordable and reliable pair of ski pants that I look forward to enjoying for many years!

I've never had snowpants before so I'm not sure what to expect but these seem alright. I tried on a different pair in store. I tried on a M and L. The size chart says I'm a M. (I'm 5'7 140 lbs, hips 37 I think.) The other reviews are all over the place so I wasn't sure. I ended up getting a M. I almost thought I got a S. They fit right but it's a little wierd. They're kind of high waisted but I'm not sure it's supposed to be. The waist isn't snug or too tight. I have room and can bend and move but the only look right if they're higher. There's too much crotch area where it feels saggy. I think I'm right on the cusp of it being too small. What people said about the legs not matching the waist is kind of true. Putting them on I almost had to squeeze into them like jeans. But once on its fine. Space and room in the hips and legs. Not too short, not too long. Not restricted or bulky. They feel really good and are nice and warm. I would say you could get away without a baselayer on warmer days. The leg pocket seems useful and the leg gussets are ok. I need to try them out with boots because it doesn't cinch down so I can see snow getting in. The pants definitely need to be tested out. They seem functional and are nice and comfortable but I'm not 100% sure.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I had trouble getting these on because the waist is so small relative to the rest of the pants. But I was actually sad that they didn't fit right because the Omni-heat inside lining was kind of amazing - really wanted to have a pair with that. Instantly warm. But all the columbia pants I tried on were really not proportioned right for me.

Product looks nice and warm but fit was off. The small was too tight in the thighs and the medium was too baggy in the thighs. The waist has Velcro adjustments if only legs had fit better. The fit/style didn't seem very flattering although the material does seem warm which is what I badly needed. Grey color was a medium grey shade.

I love these pants, but being around fires a lot in the upper peninsula is a normal thing. I was 5 feet away and they melted. I had no idea until someone said something . I love these pants so I am patching them, but I need something else to wear when I'm snowboarding and want to stand by a fire or go ice fishing .

Great Ski Pants. I got the short size which is a smidge too long for me but this only matters when i'm not in my ski boots. 5'1" for reference, where if im wearing normal shoes, the bottom drags a smidge on the ground. They have 2 front pockets (with zippers) and 2 back pockets, and a leg vent which is nice. They also have velcros on the inside in case if the pants a too big for you so you can adjust it. I'm usually a xs in pants size but I ordered a S so I have room for leggings underneath but I don't think that was necessary - pants are pretty true to your normal size. They're pretty warm too. So far been in 30 degree weathers and didn't feel cold with this pants and a fleece legging.
