This is my second pair of this exact shoe. I have feet that prefer to live life bare, but these shoes are wide in the toe and I add orthotics. My feet are happy for a run or walk!

Fit like a 7N should but toe box is wide and looks funny on my foot. Very comfortable and padded but still liked Asics Nimbus 18 better.

I purchased these shoes for work. I am a nurse who works 12 hour shifts, and I am constantly on my feet and walking for the 12-14 hours I am at the hospital each day. I switched from clogs because I wanted something that would not rub my feet (was getting callouses) and would be more breathable. I should also add I wore the Ghost 7 for workouts and running errands previously, so I knew Brooks were the place to look. In a word, wow! These shoes are completely amazing and worth the price. My feet have plenty of support that keeps me going in comfort and style all day long. No longer to my feet ache terribly at the end of the day or the morning after my shifts on my days off (I was used to searing aching pains when my feet would touch the floor upon waking up). I did size up to an 11 from the 10.5 I ordered for the Ghost 7, the reason being that I simply wanted more room for comfort-- my feet felt restricted somewhat in my old Ghost 7s. These shoes are also so stylish. I ordered this color some would consider too flashy, but they match almost perfectly with my "wine" colored scrubs! I have received so many complements from both male and female nurses. The only negative I would say is because they are mesh, my toes are not immune to splashes and spills which can unfortunately occur (seldom and not on purpose, of course) due to the nature of my job. Still, I made an informed and conscious decision to purchase and wear these shoes to work so I am just extra, extra careful now. I would not hesitate to purchase these shoes again, and as usual Zappos is amazing. They gave me next day shipping for free!

Great fitting shoe! I wear and 8 1/2 wide and these fit perfectly. I almost listened to another reviewer who said they ran long and too wide but not in my experience. I need a wide toe box with a more narrow heel and these fit the bill. Lots of cushion and support.

Great shoes. Once you put them on, you forget you're wearing shoes. Light, supportive. Shoelaces hold without having to double knot them. I ordered another pair of Brooks along with these,but kept these as the toe box was roomier. Gotta love Zappos for getting stuff to you so fast, and the free shipping and returns!

I absolutely love these! I have never spent this much on a pair of shoes but you really get what you pay for. I like a lot of support and these are perfect! I almost bought another pair just to have in case.

These shoes have provided the best arch support as I have plantar faciitis. I wear them for walking and all my group fitness classes. I am not a runner but these are great for my needs.

The Brooks Ghost 8 running sneakers continue to perform as a stand-out running shoe. I'm a slow long-distance runner with very high arches and the Ghosts continue to provide long-wearing support and durability. Truthfully I don't notice any major changes from my Ghost 7s. Also the colors of this shoe are prettier in person than in the picture!

I wear these to work. I am a nurse and on my feet a lot. The shoes are very comfortable. I love the fit and comfort of these shoes.

The only reason I gave this shoe a 4 star rating is I felt it had only a moderate arch support. It's an attractive shoe, but it didn't work for me.

When I first wore these, I wasn't sure I'd like them. They did feel a bit firm. But, I had hurt my feet with Altra Zero Drop and a cheap pair of Asics, so now I think my feet just had to recover. My heels and toes were hurting and some leg muscles, but after wearing these Ghost 8s my feet got happy and my legs are getting better. There really is lots of cushion, and a great snug fit for stability. The Glycerin was way too soft and let my whole foot turn in with each step. These have a perfect neutral footbed, with plenty of arch support, which I need. But, my feet don't get pushed to the outside, as with Asics. I usually need a size 71/2 Wide in a running shoe, and these are perfect; plenty of toe room. Colors are fun, too!

I wear an ample size 12 and this shoe fit perfectly right out of the box. Lots of room in the toe box and great arch support.

On my tab 5th pair! I've been buying Brooks Ghost for the last 5 pairs. The Ghost 8 is right in line with all the rest. I hike daily and these are the only shoes I've found that help with my pronating feet.

I received my Brooks Ghost 8 yesterday and I LOVE them! I've always bought Addiction before, and thought I would try this model. They fit great! I have a narrow foot, but chose the medium with other comments that were made and was glad I did. The toes have just enough room, but yet the heel doesn't slip around! I now have another model of Brooks that I will have as favorites!

I ordered two different pairs of sneakers both recommended for probation. I chose these as hey had great cushion and support. Plus the colors are fantastic and not cheesy. I was nervous they would be too wide as they didn't offer a narrow but with their laces that don't seem to come undone I'm able to achieve great fit.

I love these shoes. Right away, I knew they were the right fit. I have a boxy shaped foot, and there is plenty of room in the toe box. I wear a 6 1/2 in a dress shoe, but as always, got one size larger for running shoes. They have plenty of cushion. The look is good. The red on the sole is slightly pink instead of fire engine red, and I like that.

So glad I ordered this shoe! This is my 2nd pair of Brooks sneakers and they have really helped with my shinsplint situation. They're comfortable & have great cushioning if you're a heavy-footed runner like me. Will definitely order more from this brand again!

These are very good shoes for a neutral stance. I walk a lot and these have great cushion and a thicker tongue so the laces don't bother the top of my foot. The different lace patterns help to keep the shoe from slipping on my heel. I do wish they would make walking shoes that didn't have bright colors, but the navy helps dull the fuchsia and aqua.

I was attached to my Ghost 7 shoes that I bought 2 pairs. The Ghost 8 are just as good. I was nervous since I'm very picky on my running shoes. Comfortable all around. I always go up 1/2 a size. Wear a 7 1/2 bought an 8, perfect fit. Zappos was quick on their service / delivery as always.

I love these Brooks. They are light and provide great support. I walk and play pickle ball. And these are perfect. Wide foot base. Less likely to turn your ankle. And I love the color. They look nice even in a size 10.

The Brooks Ghost 8 is a great walking shoe. It was exactly as pictured, true to fit both size and width. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box.

These sneakers have been a godsend! I have been struggling with planters fasciitis for about six months. After reading the reviews on these shoes I decided to give them a try and I am so glad that I did. My feet have not ached since I put them on. I have tried several other brands and another Brooks model but I think that I have finally found the one. I highly recommend them if you have any kind of foot/heel issues that require serious cushioning. The relief is amazing.

I love the Ghost 8. I have slightly wide feet and a relatively normal arch. There is plenty of room in the toe box and the heel is nice and snug. I love the heel to toe differential and feel like my stride is really natural in these. In fact, I wore out my first pair and had to come back for more! I only wish there were more neutral color options available.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are really comfortable and fit well. I feel balanced when I run in them! And they are super cute! I might buy another pair just to have when these wear out eventually.
