Second pair of these. Have been great for running and hiking. Wish they were cuter style wise but you gotta do what you gotta do for a good fit to run.

Putting on the Ghost 8 shoes is like seeing a good friend who you haven't seen in a long time. My feet felt like they never left my Ghost 6 shoes. It's too bad a I had to retire my 6s to my dog's teeth. The Ghost 8s are wonderful and so is Zappos!

A very comfortable shoe- I wear these for work where I am on my feet all day on concrete floors. I also use them for exercise walking. I love Brooks- I wear the Pure Flow for running.

I just received my second pair of Brooks Ghost 8. I walk over 4 miles every morning and I have walked about 700 miles since January. I noticed wear on the soles 15 miles ago and wanted a new pair. They are extremely comfortable and they look as good as they did on day one. I had purchased the Ghost 7 originally. They fell apart in just over a month. Zappos replace the shoe with the Ghost 8 and I have been happy, every step. I know running shoes and comfort. I ran marathons in the late 70's and early 80's.

Love them, I work out daily these are perfect for the gym. Plus of comfortablr to walk in. They are very supportive perfect shoes for me. I wear a 7.5 that is what I ordered fit is great! Thanks Zappos

I love the Ghosts! I think they are fantastic and for the past 4 year I keep buying updated version of the Ghosts. Great for bootcamp. I wear orthotics and I just pop them right into the sneaker. Don't change a thing!

Love this shoe. Did have to go up 1/2 size to accommodate orthotics. Roomy toe box. Loved my Brooks pure flows but these are just as comfy and supportive.

So happy with this shoe. After trying and returning several pairs of ASICS and Saucony (brands that I wore in the past), I decided to try Brooks Ghost 8 after reading the reviews. I can't comment on how they are for running, but I use these for power walking on a treadmill or for outdoors on pavement-they are excellent. I have a bunion only on my right foot, so I need a wide shoe to accommodate it. These worked for my foot are not slipping off in the heel as most wide shoes do. These are lightweight and flexible. They provide good support for my average weight body. Thank you Zappos and other reviewers!

With a high arch and high instep, these shoes are perfect for me. I am between an 8 and 8-1/2, I bought the 8-1/2 and wear thicker socks. They have been comfortable from the start. Keep in mind I marked moderate arch support but my arch is high - so rarely does arch support hit my arch (and when it does it's annoying).

these shoes are made well. great comfort to my working feet.

I bought these shoes to provide good fit and support following foot surgery. They are perfect! Arch support good, and well made. Toe box roomy but not to big. Following surgery I Bought a size nine W. I Liked them so much I bought an 8 1/2 once swelling went down. I stayed with the wide width as more comfortable. I've had several compliments on them as well.

Great comfortable shoes right out of the box. I have a very wide foot and have a hard time finding comfortable shoes so I was happy with these!

This was my first pair of Brooks, but it won't be my last! This is the first running shoe I've had that didn't require much break-in. As with all of these, I order 1/2 size larger than my regular shoe size. The support is incredible.

Have always loved the Brooks Ghost style and #8 does not disappoint. I feel it fits me better than the #7 style.

Love the shoes! I have bad knees but these shoes let me be on my feet all day long without pain. They fit comfortably, lots of toe room and lots of arch support.

Love these shoes so much I bought a second pair when they went on sale. I walk every day and have knee problems. The shoes are very cushioned and seem to help with over-pronation. Did have to go up 1/2 size. I wear them with a medium heavy sock.

I got these shoes to replace a previous pair of Brooks. These were recommended for low pronators (supernators) and they are great! They are very lightweight (great for traveling) and have wonderful support and cushioning. I like them even better than my previous Brooks. Highly recommend them!

These are like every Brooks I've had, comfortable from day one. I have a hard time finding narrow shoes that have good support and are affordable. Thanks to Zappos for a great sale.

These are so amazingly comfortable that I bought a second pair a few weeks later. These are possibly the most comfortable shoes that I have owned. I am not a runner, I am a leisure walker and a busy nurse on a very busy unit: these shoes keep my feet cushioned and supported, and my bunions love them, too. They run true to size - I am a 10 with a narrow heel and arch, and the medium width fits well with plenty of room to accommodate bunions, but not so roomy that I am slipping out of them. Wore them on vacation when I walked 6-8 miles each day and my feet were happy. Great shoe. Wish they made other dark colors...

Great shoes. I've been wearing the Brooks Glycerin for a few years (various models) and really liked them. I was looking for something a little less expensive that would fit me well and I found it! All the Brooks support I love and a little extra for my high arches that flatten when I walk.

Really like the Brooks Ghost 8. I have chronic inflammation of both feet due to Plantar Fasciitis and with orthotics, these shoes are very comfortable for me. Even without the orthotics, the arch support is better than other brands.
