This is a great jacket/parka overall. I bought this parka in the year of 2019 which I don't know if Arc'teryx change any of the material of fabric since then.
I live in Wisconsin and Chicago area. I feel the parka is really warm and sometimes too warm to be honest.
I wear this parka mostly when the temp drops down to below 0 F degree. I own another Arc'teryx which takes care the temp higher than 0F degree. Of course you can wear this above that degree if you wear it like a coat.
One downside of this parka is the hood, the insulation, the shape and the ability to stop the wind from coming decrease the warmest if you live in the area where huge wind is your daily life.
Overall, great parka with poor design hood. You can live up with this parka below 0F but probably the best option if you live in a wind city such as Chicago.

I bought this coat December 2021, although it is perfect for what I expected, light, hot enough for my commute, I just noticed a small rip in front of the coat. And although I can't prove that it was already there when I purchased it, I cannot believe that this coat has already a small rip only by walking 10 minutes to the subway. I have a Beta AR since 3 years that is use for fat biking, snowshoeing, hiking and everything rough and there is not a single rip. I already contacted support and they will send me tenacious tape. I'm not complaining on the service, but this is not very reassuring for the longevity of this coat. Considering the price this coat I am very disapointed of it's fragility.

Purchased this parka a year and a bit ago. Has been a great jacket for one and a half winters in Calgary and Montreal. Unfortunately (and seemingly for no reason, since it is only used for walking the dog and getting groceries), the zipper stopped working. Pretty disappointing considering it's a premium product with a premium product price tag. Submitted a service request, but winter might be over by the time it gets sorted out.

Ive had this for two years. I don't actually wear it all that much. The biggest problem is the lack of a two way zipper makes this coat somewhat awkward to do things like sit down in. The bottom is just too tight and stiff to allow movement. Recently, the zipper on my jacket stopped working altogether. When I zip it up, it comes unzipped. I have started a service request but noticed several other reviews on internet with same problem.

I absolutely love this jacket, except that the hood is horrible and poorly designed for wet Vancouver weather. It is way to small and should extend further past a persons face. I find it odd that a "city" jacket has such a lousy hood.

The down fill combined with wind/waterproof is the perfect combination (sounds like winter). Sleeve cuff/gussets bid improvement over my Koda.

Very good quality. Only complaint is that during walking the parka is not silent since the arms make a slight rubbing noise as they touch the fabric of the body.

I bought this from one of top online retailers. It has been a savior in very cold NY City winter days. I only wear this item 10-15 days per year in the coldest days of winter. My other coats are enough to keep me warm in moderately cold days. Insulation is amazing - as one should expect from Arc'teryx, and as the main reason I buy your products. But (!) the zipper is a total frustration. Nothing like we expect from a high quality and high priced item. Initially, before purchasing this item, I read in the reviews that people made negative comments about the zipper - especially not being able to open both ways. But I underestimated them - giving the benefit of the doubt to a brand like Arc'teryx. But recently, on the coldest and snowy day of NYC - the zipper just wouldn't close. the teeth would not hold the sides together. Very frustrating experience!

I bought this for the combination of warmth and waterproofness. You'd be surprised at the oddball freezing rain storms that catch one by surprise and require both attributes. The fit is literal perfection, I wish a few of their other coats, such as the Radsten would come in this fit. Conversely, I wish they'd offer the Camosun in the Black Heather of the Radsten.
I use this for walking to the train station and back, and any other outdoor winter activities when inclement weather is expected. It's performed very well, no wind or water seems to penetrate the surface, and the overall warmth is good for what I've experienced, which is only down to about 25F. Need this in Black Heather, or some cool shade of grey!

This trim-fitting parka has been a confidence booster. It'll challenge your vanity as you go mirror-seeking to check yourself out. I'm 6' tall, weigh 87 kgs, waist 37". The L was almost exactly built for my body type with just about enough room for a mid-layer.
The jacket's warm and waterproof. I came back unscathed from a windy, snowy, slushy Toronto evening in wet, sub-zero weather. I could have probably done without the fleece mid-layer I was wearing at the time.
The jacket's comfortable on the body and does not hinder movement. The breathable material adds to the comfort. There's some restriction, though, when you're driving but nothing that adjusting the zipper won't resolve.
The hood comfortably fits over my Beats headphones and is great protection against the elements. It helps that the hood is removable for that extra flexibility.
The fabric is on the crinkly side. It'll give you that extra little bit of attention outside of what the jacket already assures you. Jokes apart, the 'jacket sounds' are not significantly bothersome to dock any stars.
I bought the jacket as 'office' winterwear but its smart look has carried me though both professional and casual environments. I don't wear it for any types of workouts - low or high intensities.
All-in-all, this is one of the best jackets I've worn. It's got the look, the feel and the utility! It keeps the Arc'teryx addiction going.

Bought this jacket in both xs and s. I'm 5'7'' athletic build but have a 27 inch waist. xs fits the best and doesn't make me look like a rectangle. Jacket is very warm, good construction and quality. I don't think it sounds loud, so not sure why someone said that with review. If your slimmer, stick to this jacket since it's slim fit.

Smooth fit, slim lines on a well styled jacket. Been using their jackets for 15 years and wanted a more stylish jacket to parade around in. As the weather cools down I will have the warmest body around. Too bad my hands and feet will be cold.

I was looking for a waterproof parka for around the city that was slim fit, not too bulky and from a Canadian company. I've only had it a month and have fallen in love with it, it is so comfortable and completely waterproof. Looking forward to the weather getting colder so I can wear it more.

I am 6ft athletic build, 42" chest and broad shoulders. Large is good for me in Arcteryx.
I was looking to upgrade for warmth and styling from my Kappa (140g all over Coreloft) and wanted to go down with water protection, hence the gore-tex. Don't get me wrong the Kappa was awesome but it felt a little bulky for me and when it was really cold (-20 to -30 celcius) I had to layer a fleece under to be comfortable.
So my solution: I initially purchased the Therme to and was between sizes (Med & Large). It too felt bulky around my face as well, although I know doubt know this would have been the warmest parka around and it was long enough to cover your tail end. It would be perfect for a larger and taller 6ft 2"+ individual but not me.
I elected to go off the advise of customer support with the trimmer and shorter tail profile of the Camosun, and glad I did, it the large fits bang on like all my other Arc'teryx jackets have. The main issue people have had on reviews is the pockets and noise from the shell rubbing. Sure if the pockets were a little deeper and fully fleeced out it would be a plus but they work and for the shell it's the N150p-X 2L GORE-TEX fabric and until they invent the silent ninja fabric version it is how it should sound, durable and impermeable to the elements. It really is not bad at all, I don't even notice.

This coat has some great features. Warm, waterproof, nice distribution of fill, removable hood. But I returned it for three reasons: 1 - the outer fabric is "crunchy-sounding" when rubbing against itself. 2- the collar is very high and sits up against your cheek. 3 - the shape of the jacket is a bit of an hourglass feel, which felt a little too tailored for my taste. If OK with these points, this is a terrific coat.

I bought this for about a year now and the Camosun is holding up very well. It is warm enough for Vancouver winter and the Goretex does a good job in keeping the rain and wind on the outside (though a bit louder than I would have liked). It is a light, warm, and stylish parka.
I did not have issues with the hood, but then I rarely use it. Although it was oddly shaped and sit weird in the beginning from being folded for too long, it fluffed into shape and position after hanging/wearing for a month or so.
This parka fits slim. I am 5'8", 140 lbs, wears 36S suits, and the XS fits perfectly with room to layer a thick high neck sweater.

Nice jacket so far! The fit is great. I'm 5'9" weighing 190lbs and the large fits well. Kept me pretty cozy in single digit temps with a base layer and hefty sweater underneath. The range of motion in the jacket is surprisingly nice and moving in it feels natural without any noticeable restrictions. It is noticeable that when fully zipped and sitting down, the zipper appears to crease near the hip. I haven't owned it long enough to see how it holds up but so far so good.
A few cons I noticed:
- The additional material around the wrist cuffs. I really wish they would have had an adjustable wrist cuff to give it a cleaner look. Tucking in the extra material gave it a much better look and feel in my opinion.
- The goretex material also makes quite a bit of noise as others have mentioned. However, it's not terrible for city commutes or taking the dog out for a walk.
- The hand pockets are only fleeced on the side nearest to the body. Really wished they would have fleeced both sides of the inner pockets.

I am 5-10 average build, 145lbs ish. I bought size small recently December 2020. It fit me loosely, not trim fit at all for me. I can wear a tank top, with a thermo, a hoodie soft shell, and still to be able to move freely (which I like). Or I can just throw the parka over with a thermo on the go, at least I have the flexibility. The hood fit me pretty big, and the draw strings doesn't hold in place well when you try to tighten the string to make the hood smaller. You can fit a helmet under. I guess this is good if you planning to wear skiing. I have no issue with the hood come off easily as others mentioned, assuming they fixed this issue with newer model. This parka is a little long for me, but that is just preference. Others might like that the long style. The two front pockets only have fleece toward of the jacket, so only your palms would be warm but the top of your hands won't be. The outside face material looks durable, It does make noise as you move but it doesn't bother as much. My Canada Goose make noise too but not as loud. Those are minors imperfection about the parka. Longevity still unknown, because I just got it recently. Overall, I am happy with the parka. It not over expensive, and it seems well build on first impression. It is not as warm as my Canada Goose parka or non parka. I find Canada Goose just too warm, sometime annoying. This is perfect for winter in Philly, Pa.

Got this jacket for my boyfriend, he's 5'7 170lbs, stalky body type. Wide chest but short torso, the S fit perfect. I was worried that it would be too long but it's enough to cover half the butt. Like the fitted style of the jacket, was debating whether to get this one of the therme. Since the therme is 1.5inches longer, I went with the Camsun. Overall, my boyfriend enjoys it, said it's quite warm and can double up as a ski jacket.
The cons: VERY loud material, only fleeced on one side of pockets (???).

Solid design, sleek lines, love the blue color. Small fits well on an athletic 5-10 frame, although seems longer than the images suggest, which becomes v.noticeable when kneeling/bending with the jacket zipped. Hope the zip lock withstands that. The hood is noisy when up, yet insulates well. Good wind protection. Should last for years.

I have had this for a couple of years now and I am happy with it. Its warm and comfortable.
Its great around town but have also used it winter camping and skiing when it gets really cold.
I have had two issues with it, the zipper breaking, and the hood snaps not sturdy enough so the hood kept falling off. Fortunately Arcteryx repaired it. I also think they fixed it with the newer models.
I have the Medium model and it fits great, with some room underneath to layer when it gets really cold. I have 37 inch chest, 33 inch sleeve length. I am 5 foot11 and 150pounds
