For an outwear garment, the sleeves are extremely narrow, and form-fitting for someone with heavy upper arms. They don't allow enough room for the sleeves of inner clothing layers to lie smoothly and comfortably. The sleeves were also several inches too long. The garment body was too narrow across the underarm area, so the rest of the body couldn't lie smoothly. I expected the fabric to be a heavier weight, but it would be suitable for warmer climates than mine. It would be a great autumn jacket for this area. I really liked the jacket's overall length, that it has a hood and, especially, that it has a two-way zipper. I'm so disappointed to have to return this item.

This jacket was very small. 1xl fits more like a large. I will be returning it and bought another Columbia.

This jacket just came in the mail. My first reaction upon seeing it is the quality (or lack there of). The fabric looks and feels cheap. I'm not impressed for the price. If you hold the hoodie up to the light, you could almost see thru the fabric and stitching. Furthermore, the hoodie runs small so I recommend sizing up if you still choose to buy after seeing my review.

The BLACK is not really black, but a dark charcoal color. It is not flattering and the foldover of the material around the zipper makes extra bulk in the front. It oulkd be better if there were an anorak "pull" inside to tighten the waist. I am returning.

The Columbia of days past are gone. This jacket was super thin; cardigan sweater-ish. The hood was way too wide around the front. Needs some type of toggle draw string. Returned.

These jackets run small. Very disappointed. Was hoping to replace my old fleece jacket.

I normally wear an XL and I bought the 1 X since it was the only size available. It's too large and not flattering at all. It's a quality made jacket and it's soft and warm but the style just looks blah...it's like it needs to be tapered in by the thighs and cinched more at the back. Overall....if you need a 1X fleece jacket this may work perfect. Just needed a little more style to it. Love that it covers the bum.

Poor quality.Found a hole in pocket the first time I wore it. Seams puckered up after first wash.

The jacket was very thin. It to me ran a little large I could've got a 2x and been fine. Still a nice jacket. Thinner than I was expecting.

This coat had sleeves that extended down to my fingertips. I don't have short arms. The hood came down over my nose. I don't have a small head. I suppose if you don't mind those two issues, this coat is otherwise a nice medium weight with good length that covers the backside. I would have kept it if I didn't need to use my hands and see where I'm walking.

Zipper is hard to start, can't get it connected at base to zip up frequently.

I was a huge fan of your previously designed benton spring hoodies (they were all that I would wear over the course of the chilly, upstate NY winters) and highly recommend to friends/family. I adored the long length, flattering style (non-boxy), long sleeves (great for putting over gloves in the winter), wide arm holes, and the zipper design (allowing me to wear my hoodies often without the zipper splitting). As a loyal and returning costumer, I was beside myself with excitement when my new hoodies arrived today in the mail. However, after wearing the hoodie throughout the day, I was very disappointed. I will start out with the pros: the overall material continues to provide unlimited warmth and has a nice and cozy feel, however, cons: the size (XL) that I have always ordered in the past is significantly tighter in the shoulders, the arm holes are much narrower and sleeves are significantly shorter in length, the zipper has already split (bc they have gone with a 2 zipper system, which lacks in durability), and the zipper starts much lower on the jacket, which makes the hoodie a tighter fit around the waste/butt area (not as flattering, more boxy shaped, unlike previously designed 13' 14' hoodie). Unfortunately, I will not purchase this winter staple to add to my winter collection.

The fabric on this jacket was beyond horrible! sub-standard for Columbia brand. Very cheap, 2 way-stretch -not 4 way stretch like fleece like my other Columbia vests and jackets. Overall very disappointed!

This jacket was a gift to me from my husband for Christmas. I usually wear a 1X but I told him to buy a 2X because I wanted to wear it over layers. I was excited to receive it until I wore it the first time. The body fit OK - it was a little snug for a 2x. But the sleeves were ridiculous. I could hardly get my arms into them. I measured the sleeve width compared to an older Columbia fleece jacket I own. The old jacket had sleeves that measured 7 1/2 " wide. This new jacket had sleeves that measure 6" wide. No wonder it doesn't fit. I probably won't wear it again. If you don't like tight sleeves, don't order this jacket

Not the quality I expect from Columbia. Fit is weird - sleeves too long and slim ( I ordered a 1X for heavens sake, which I thought would have allowed for a bit of heft!), torso too tight, fleece not the same quality as other jackets I have bought from you. Good zipper, good idea, bad execution. I will donate it to a warm coat drive going on and hope it works for someone, somewhere. Very disappointing.

Doesn't hang right due to being too lite weight. Also the darts in the back make it unflattering for plus size gals. I expected it to be softer and heavier. Very disappointed in this item.

Sent back things are running on the small side, I found out with a few other items

I wore this twice, put my phone in one pocket and my keys in the other and both pockets have holes in them bow and I cannot use them.

To tight across shoulder and in the under arms area.

I had to return this jacket. I was so looking forward to it. I have been such a fan of Columbia jackets in the past, although, I admit I have always worn men's in the past, since I am really tall for a woman, and the sleeves are usually too short on women's jackets. I thought I would try this one, since it is really long. It was so tight in the sleeves, I could not get it on, even over a light t-shirt. I guess it is back to the men's section for me. Why can't you make a women's jacket that fits???

I read the reviews and looked at the the pictures. Most reviews said that it ran big. I should have ordered up. I put it on over a long sleeve shirt and could'nt close it. I then tried with a short sleeve shirt and could zipper it, but I didnt want a fitted jacket. The pictures showed that the back was boxy, not fitted.

Let me start of with how soft this jacket is. It's soooo soft and comfortable. It fits great and is very flattering. I've worn this jacket a total of 3 times in the last 15 hours. That's how long I've had it. This jacket was poorly stiched together. The seam on the sleave already has a 4 inch gap where the seam split. I'm torn on if I return the jacket then wait two weeks before getting a replacement or if I just stitch my new jacket back together. I just wish the jacket was stitched better or it would be a great jacket!
