True to size fit. It had a snug fit and since I have a somewhat a wide feet, at first it felt a little uncomfortable. After 2-3 weeks of wearing it every day it loosen up a bit when it doesn't bother me anymore. Reason for 4 stars, my socks feels wet sometimes, so not sure if it's completely water proof.

A nice trail shoe except for the unusually wide tongue and problematic lacing. Almost the perfect trail shoe for me.

Hubby loves the shoe, color, waterproof, looks. Length true to size but It is just a tad too tight across front of the foot. Hoping to stretch it.

I am on my feet all day long and this shoe is very comfortable. Also a good looking shoe to wear out on the town.

Shoe looked great but too narrow in toe box for my foot. I usually wear a D width. These might be a good fit if you have a C width. Length was right on.

I bought these to wear to work where I am constantly on my feet. The original insoles were ok but had no arch support. I switched them out with the insoles with the ones from my 5 year old Keens (I bought these to replace them) and now they are much better. I have not worn them hiking/walking long distances so I cannot attest to their comfort in that situation nor can I comment on longevity since I've only had them for like a week (I don't know why Columbia would want a review this fast but here is what I have so far). Aesthetics-wise they're kind of meh but that's not why I bought them. They feel pretty well made at least. The toe box is also kind of wide and the laces are difficult to tighten enough in that area, but I am hoping that will get easier as I break them in.

I measured my foot with a Brannock device: 11.5 EE. I ordered that 11.5 W. This shoe *looked* narrower than it *felt*, even though it did feel a tad narrow. After wearing all day, it was hurting the tops of my feet near the base of my toes because of how the lace runs across my foot. I did some creative lacing, and that problem went away. These are now the shoes I wear the most. Their style is good enough to wear to work, where the dress code is business casual. They are very warm compared to my running shoes.

They were good looking shoes, the outside being a kind of treated leather, a bit stiff, but good for wet seasons. Since I was shopping for winter shoes, I decided I wanted higher tops. They felt a bit on the small side.

Its didn't take long for these hikers to become super comfy on the trail. Just a couple short hikes and they are ready to go. Heading to their first 14er tomorrow. Only drawback is even though they said the are breathable they aren't breakable enough. My feet can get hot quick.

I have these in size 12 and they fit great. I did not think that the toe-box was narrow as somebody else posted. I bought these before a trip out west, and broke them in for two weeks before going. Observations: Waterproof, comfortable but really, really HOT! I've never owned a set of sneakers before that made my feet so hot. It says that the Omni-Tech is waterproof and breathable, but the outer material of these shoes doesn't give them the ability to breath very much. Besides the heat issue, these shoes are great. They are very comfortable, the soles have nice grip and they really are waterproof. I think I will enjoy them more in the wintertime when it's cold outside and these shoes will keep my feet warm. One other thing: they are really a dark black. The pictures on the website make them look almost like a dark grey, but mine are midnight black.

I've only had these shoes for about 2-3 weeks, but I've been wearing them everyday in urban and light trail hiking environments. The build quality is excellent: stitching is very clean, leather appears to be rugged and has held up nicely against sharp rocks. The bottom sole texture provides a nice grip without being too aggressive. Waterproofing has held up being submerged in 3-4in of water. The shoe is surprisingly breathable for it being waterproof leather. My only complaints are that the shoe is very narrow for a hiking shoe, so the stability is not quite as good as I would like (especially because I have low/collapsing arches) and the cushioning is not very comfortable in my opinion (also due to having low arches.) The ball of my feet hurt after standing/walking in these after about 8-9 hrs. I do like that these don't look too "Dad" when I wear them for casual wear.

Very happy with purchase. My size 10 for medium width fits just fine. I am fussy about comfort and would have liked a little more cushioning, something I can do on my own. Structurally, shoe offer's great support.

This shoe was comfortable straight out of the box. It fits well, is easy to tie on, and the outsole has excellent grip! I think the shoe runs a little hot (at least in the summer), which is probably the byproduct of it being waterproof. I don't know for sure, but I suspect that a GTX barrier instead of Omni-Tech, may have helped this issue. Certainly not a concern in cooler temps.

Bought this shoe for the Chicago winters. I have hardware in my ankle that prevents me from wearing boots without pain. I have to wear low shoes despite all the snow we get. Therefore, waterproofing is essential. I'm very happy work these shoes because: - Waterproof - Very comfortable, especially the cushioned sole - Excellent traction on snow and ice I've had other brands that were surprisingly slippery in winter conditions. These shoes help you move with confidence. My only critique is that they do a poor job of keeping your feet warm. Combine these shoes with good merino wool socks.
