I have owned a pair of this for about 2 years now. My initial intention was to use them for summer hikes as they were both waterproof and low, but now they've become one of my most favorite pairs. They are guaranteed to keep you dry and comfortable during long hikes and rainy days. I have worn these continuously for over 48 hours in the woods and they're literally so comfortable. The best bang for the buck.

Love this shoe. Very comfortable. Haven't really tested it against the elements yet,but quality and construction appear to be high.

Excellent shoe. Size 16. Wear it for work, home construction, light hiking, and daily use. Has kept shape and color under adverse conditions. Only wish I had bought these earlier.

I've owned a previous version of this shoe, which wasn't waterproof and it lasted the longest out of any shoe I've ever owned. That is why I am a returning customer. Quality.

I really enjoy this shoe...I did wear them backpacking and got a little blister on my little toe, maybe a bit narrow in the forefoot for what I was doing but I wear them in construction and they perform perfectly. Very durable.

Very good fit, comfotable, and felt like they were broken in from the first day. Also confirmed to be waterproof which is good. Functional AND comfortable.

I have problems finding my size of shoe in a casual shoe. Columbia's men's peak freak shoe is a top quality shoe for a very reasonable price.

Bought these shoes for work, walking on concrete all day. After two weeks they are super comfortable and holding up well. My feet feel better than they have in a long time. I definitely recommend these shoes.

I was looking for a shoe that was waterproof, light hiker, good for winter weather in terms of everyday use as well as the ability to be used in the summer as well. I needed all of this and most importantly something that made me look good, or at least looks good while wearing out to the stores, restaurants and pubs. This shoe looks the part, fits my use requirements and the best part is that it fit perfect right out of the box and was comfortable. The shoes have already been through the wet snow and has kept my feet dry. I would buy these again.

I have bad feet and have difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable for longer than a few hours. I buy good quality, name brand shoes and have rarely had shoes that are as comfortable as these. I walk my dog 3-5 miles a day, about half the time in woods, tall grass or open field. So far these shoes have kept my feet dry and, with wool socks, warm. They are also pretty good looking, as attested to by my wife and my doctor, both of whom commented favorably as soon as they saw them. Very glad I bought them.

I have worn these shoes for about 6 months at this point and taken them on one week long excursion and the more a break them in the happier I am with my choice of this shoe.
After some long days walking I must say my feet felt quite good!!

I keep my dress shoes at work and walk to work in my these shoes. They are comfortable and do a great job of keeping my feet warm and dry on the way to work or when I am hiking at the Brown County State Park in Indiana. I tend to walk a lot and loathe shoes that cause my feet to ache after a few miles. I also recommend these shoes when the elements do not call for a boot. They do the job.

I recently purchased a second pair of this shoe, but my first pair are still in great condition after a year of almost daily wear. This is the only pair of shoes I wear (besides the occasional dress-up or serious hike), so it's important for me to have a shoe that I can wear in all weather conditions and on all types of surfaces. I wear this as my daily work shoe and they are comfortable walking on asphalt and concrete, but I also use them for light hiking and walking in the woods. For serious hikes I recommend a dedicated hiking shoe, but for everyday situations this is a perfect shoe that is stylish, comfortable, and functional.

Very comfortable, from the first time. Stylish enough to be work and even business casual. Very comfortable for many hours of hard surface walking.

I was concerned about ordering shoes online but Zappos return policy made me feel more confident. Love the shoes!! Great support and the tread design is awesome. Very good traction.

Lightweight, comfortable, good arch support &, best of all, waterproofing to keep your feet dry in the next El Nino.

Comfortable and lightweight. Omnitech lining keeps you feet very warm...maybe too warm if you plan to hike in wool socks during the summer. Great traction. I also purchased the ankle boot version for snow. I replaced the liner in both with blue Superfeet for perfect support.

Looks narrower than expected, but it is fits well.
Columbia shoes seems to run large by about 0.5, so please order accordingly.
For example I wear size 10.5-11 for most brands, but Columbia size 10 fits me just fine.

Have purchased several pairs in store, decided to risk sizes being consistent. Fit great. This pair is significantly stiffer than previous pairs. Having trouble getting the sole broken in enough for long walks. Shoe fits great and is waterproof. Satisfied with purchase.
