Good length and keeps warm in real cold weather. Downside is it's very heavy and couple of feathers came out first time wearing it.

Nice color and very cozy. I normally wear Small. But it runs big. Unfortunately I won't wear as many as I was hoping.

Let me start by saying I have owned and worn the same TNF arctic parka on every winter day in Chicago for the last 10 years. I LOVE that coat. I only decided to get a new one in a larger size to accommodate bulkier sweaters. I am so disappointed in the new version of this coat! Velcro?!?! Remember those bulky sweaters I mentioned??? And my hats and scarfs. All have gotten inadvertently stuck to the stupid Velcro. Even the knit cuffs on the coat already look tattered after 3 weeks from getting stuck on the Velcro. The old version has snaps. Never realized how significant a difference this could make in everyday functioning. I also think they made the neck higher and it's uncomfortable to zip it all the way up. I'm looking for some poor soul to dump this coat on.

Got this parka after my last arctic parka was unfixable. This one is not nearly as warm as my old one and has Velcro song the zipper instead of buttons, which I'm not the biggest fan of but is not a deal breaker. The parka is also thinner than my old one, which makes sense for why it's not as warm. It's ok for Wisconsin winters, but I would consider a different parka if you live in a super cold climate.

I really liked how this coat looked, except it was way too big. I ordered an XS (for reference I'm about 5 feet, 100 pounds). Sleeves were too long and it was too baggy. I have an earlier version of this coat but this was definitely larger. Wish they came in a petite size or an XXS. Sadly I had to return.

I purchased December 22 still waiting on my refund money. They received the return I got the return receipt but no refund. Come on it is now 1/17/2023. This company makes plenty of money just return the money that's owed. I returned my item as quick as I received it. It's been like a month now !!

I purchased an older version of this coat and needed a replacement because the zipper broke. This coat is poorly made in comparison to that coat. It is lightweight, runs small, and does not wash well. I placed it in the washer one time and the material changed immediately. Also, the previous model had buttons, I don't like the Velcro. I would not purchase this coat at that price again. It is not worth it. Also, the hoodie runs really small. I can barely put it over my head.

I got the Arctic and the New Outerborough parkas during the winter sale with the intention of keeping one and returning the other. With the sale at the time the price difference was less than $50. The Arctic parka has a more flattering fit. Which was its major draw for me. The Outerboroughs parka was more fluffy and so less figure conscious (neither is very flattering). But the Outerboroughs parka is warmer and seems better made. The dawn in the Arctic parka is recycled which was not advertised on line. Also the faux fur collar for both parkas is fairly hideous. I returned the Arctic parka and am still deciding on whether to keep the other one.

I expected the coat to be warmer. I have bought several NF coats/jackets and never had a problem with warmth. However, the color and length is good and it fits well.

The coat appears to be well made and warm but the sizing runs big. I wear a medium in a Columbia coat but the North Face medium was too big. North Face did make the return easy by including a return label in the packaging.

I ordered the Artic and the outer boroughs parka, choose to keep the outerborough instead. The sleeves on the Artic weren't quite long enough, and I didn't like the Velcro closure on the front. It also didn't seem to be as well made as the outer boroughs parka. Perhaps it's not, because there is a big price difference between the two.

The jacket is just fine I'd say, it's not a good fit for petite people unfortunately, I'm 5'2" usually wear size XS but even the XS size was too large around the shoulders and the fit was not flattering around the waist, I'd say it's a good fit for people taller than 5'4".

This coat was so nice. It's a little flattering and easy to put on; however, during those bone chilling days or even regular cold days it didn't hold up. Even with a sweater, you still feel cold. The hood is very nice and can extend in front to block out winds from the sides and the back.

The lavendar color is beautiful but the coat does run very big. I usually purchase a small/medium and the xs was roomy. Wish it had snaps instead of velcro. It looks great but I had to return. Wish it had more pockets!

I bought the usual size of M but it's bigger than expected. The material is good and should be durable but sizing is too big. One size down fits me better.

I was disappointed when I realized that instead of a zipper/snap closure this coat had a zipper/Velcro closure. When you get in a car you hear that annoying sound of Velcro coming apart. And, when I took the coat off I had at least five feathers attached to my shirt. I'm hoping they were the only loose ones and it won't happen too much in the future. And the coat tends to attract lint. Aside from those issues the coat is warm.

This coat is very warm, and I was excited about getting it but it should've been made out of the shiny, smooth material that your shorter coats are made out of. I should've listened to the one review this coat collects lint. And I mean I've only worn it once and it looks like I rolled over a white sweater. It's just everywhere. So if you're are kind of weird about fuzzies and hair and stuff like that this ma coat isn't for you.

North Face has really gone down in quality overall, but I still return as the prices are pretty good for what you get and I like the styles and fit. The feel of the material is nice and so far has held up as waterproof to light rain. The gray was the only color on sale so I got that one... it's just a little more blue than I'd have liked. The stitching at the outer hem appears cheap. The hood is a little odd as it doesn't hold its shape super well so it crumples a bit, decent size though. I like that the pockets are fleece-lined and zippered, plus there's an inner breast pocket, wish it were bigger. Length is good (I'm 5'2") and the fit gives me a nice shape. I do think the coat could be warmer. When I wear a fleece sweater underneath, I still end up feeling a bit chilly at times in 35 deg weather, and you'll absolutely need a scarf.

It's probably a very nice coat, but the Velcro closures are AWFUL. They catch and snag on all my clothes, scarves, mittens. They rub and scratch my chin/face. Awful, terrible, no good decision to switch from snaps to Velcro.
