I have purchased north face winter coats in the past and swear by the north face brand. I was recently looking to upgrade my current winter coat and wanted something that would allow me to layer sweaters underneath if I wished to do so. I found this coat and immediately fell in love. When I received the coat I was pleased to find that it was true to size, color and quality! I'm hoping that this coat lasts a very, very long time!

Absolutely love this parka. I tried it on in store to find the right size and color, and got it delivered to my dorm in New York where I am attending school. It's perfect for the cold weather here, I don't feel the wind or cold at all even with just a tshirt on underneath.

I love this parka. I'm very sensitive to cold weather and this coat kept me warm through LOTS of walking around in below freezing temperatures in Germany and Austria last January. I keep wishing I'd invested in it before because now I can still be comfortable in cold weather. Anywhere the coat covers, I'm warm. It's also not TOO hot when changing temperatures. (I could wear it going from museum to museum and didn't feel like I was burning up when I was indoors.) It's not extremely form-fitting but it's still pretty flattering given its warmth. The hood is also really nice for when it snows or just from covering my head/ears when it gets a bit too windy and chilly.

I wear it on the coldest days of Chicago winters to the gym with just a tank top under it and am warm.

I love my jacket. It's lightweight, water resistant and the perfect length.This jacket is really comfortable, good style and perfect warming for the winter time. I have a few winter jacket from other famous brand but North Face is really different of others. I think so, everybody has to have a North Face jacket.

I love this coat. I decided to take a leap of faith buying a coat online but it was definitely worth it. I am 5'5" and curvy and the XL fits me perfectly. There is still room for me to wear layers underneath. The only down side is the when I take it off for class it's just very bulky for me to deal with both but it was expected with any coat like this. I have worn this coat in 8 degree weather and it worked wonderfully.

I walk 30 minutes to work in the city and this coat keeps me warm even when it's below 20 and windy! Love the color and the way it is cinched in around the waist makes it still stylish for a winter parka.

Nice, good looking coat without the 'Michelin Man' look that most down parkas have. I am outside a lot and wanted something that didn't make me look huge. This is it!

I went to Chicago a few weeks ago and it was perfect! I'm from Costa Rica (we dont have winter there) so i need a coat that really keep me warm and this coat did it! Worth every penny

I loved it! I wore this coat in Washington, D.C. For the prolife March during the blizzard 2016. I was so warm I got a little hot while walking the March. Couldn't ask for better!

Love this coat. It's thick, warm, and stylish. Unfortunately, the small fiit a little large on me. I'm 5'1 and 110lbs for reference. An XS would have been better!

This parka is perfect for what I need it for- keeping me warm on my long commute to work! I have to park a few blocks away and walk to my job, and early in the morning in the middle of winter that is not a fun task! This coat keeps me perfectly warm. The hood is perfect to throw over my ponytail, and the length of the coat keeps me warm to my knees. It also keeps the wind out effectively.

This was my best Zappos purchase ever! And there have been a Lot!! Through the recent Arctic blast and snowstorm, this parka has kept me warm and comfortable. I am not a large person, but Northface is cut for a young, fit crowd; so I ordered large to go comfortably over sweaters. It was the right choice. North Face knows warm, and practical. I recommend it.

Lightweight, warm, can move easily without the bulk.

I love this jacket. I needed something to keep me warm on the windy beaches around here. I can't say how warm and comfortable this jacket is. Plus I love the hood and just style in general. I'm really happy with my purchase. It was worth the price!

I bought this parka about three weeks ago and wore it to walk to the grocery store during the Blizzard of 2016. I was so warm and dry!! This coat was worth the price - I just love it!!

This coat is wonderful. I am 5'10'', 140 lbs and got a large and find that I can fit a sweater comfortably underneath this coat and still manage to add a scarf and zip it up. I live in MA and am perfectly comfortable in 20 degree blustery weather in this coat, not to mention it is completely water proof! The coat can also be folded and compressed until it fits into the hood of the jacket, making it compact and easy to pack and carry. This coat is worth the money!
