Hard, not comfortable

I was disappointed in this jacket. I'm 5'1" 145lbs for reference and ordered a size Medium. It was so tight in the bust area and the fabric is not the same as the mens jacket.

Jacket is very stiff . Also has a smell that I can't seem to get out of it after washing 3 times

I am 5 ft 170lb and XL fit me well but the sleeves are way too long and it's uncomfortable to fold it because of the material.

Product would have been nice if they would process the return, it's been several weeks and no refund

This jacket is too confining and does not allow movement. It was tight thru my shoulders and chest and the sleeve cuffs were loose also.

Too stiff so bunched up at the shoulders and arms. Had to return it.

I loved the previous version. This one not so much. Arms too short and chest area way too tight. Please quit shaving off inches from the chest area.

Full cut size has been reduces, sleeve design changed, gets worse every year. Tragic. Regret I didn't return it.

I bought this during the Black Friday sale and was super excited about the discount. I looked at how many stars it had and thought it would be a good buy. However, I wish I had read the more recent ones before purchasing the jacket. The material is SUPER stiff. I imagine that wearing this jacket is what wearing a straight jacket would feel like. Save yourself the trouble and buy a different jacket instead. Usually I stand by product from North Face, but this is not one of those times.

I have 2 of the same jackets. Same jacket and same size. My shoulders are too broad for this, making the sleeves too short and it barely zips. My other which are the same size fit like a glove

Very disappointed in this jacket. It was way too small, and the material was very stiff and uncomfortable. I am returning it. I would not recommend it.

I am so disappointed in North Face. Their size discrimination is evident. I work out regularly and have lost a good deal of weight however their selection for plus sizes is a joke. The stores and outlets don't carry them in stock and when I ordered the larger size online, the sleeves were so long but the the rest of the jacket was snug. I returned the online item at a store and asked why they didn't carry any plus sizes. The reply was "I think because we just don't have the room,". I looked around and this store was huge. I will not be shopping North Face any longer as it is evident that you are very size discriminatory.

Returned. Not true to size. XXL fits like an XL.

This jacket was too small.

I have had the older version of this jacket for 8 years and when the seams finally started going, I got this jacket as a replacement. I am sadly very disappointed in it. First, the Juicy Red color is not what the picture makes it look like. It's more melon-y (which I guess is where the Juicy comes from) orange in my opinion and not the deeper red that the picture makes it look. I could get over this, but since it is so light, the jacket constantly looks dirty. I've had it for about 3 months and have washed it multiple times already trying to make the cuffs, pockets, and front zipper look clean again. They are stained almost black by this point. And let's be honest, this isn't really my adventure jacket, it's more used for day-to-day and getting to/from work, so it really should not be this dirty. The updated curved cuffs seem great at first, but then I realized that they're exacerbating the dirt issue. Also, I think that the new (iron on??) logo looks much cheaper than the sewn on logo that my last jacket had. I'm sad that what used to be my favorite jacket, has disappointed me so much in this updated version/color.

My husband got this for me as a Christmas gift to replace my 5 year old Apex Bionic jacket that is getting worn looking. No comparison to my old one that I am still wearing all winter. This was much baggier, non-flattering, and not as warm. Please bring back the older style!

I have tried on a small before but either they changed the jacket since then or I have gained weight. Im 5'2 120 pounds

Love the fabric. But it's too tight over the chest and the sleeves are very long

Loved the old Apex for great design. Very disappointed when I tried them on this weekend. Love the feel , the way they look, So comfortable but all sizes where off . Sleeves to long. Would not zip comfortably. Medium was tight on the shoulders.Large was way to big.

I have an old TNF Apex Bionic and I love it, as far as this new up-date I hate it. I bought the same size as I normally wear and its just too big! I wouldn't buy this jacket again, go back to the old style than I would purchase another one. Another thing I don't like about it is that the pocket has the elastic pull string to tighten around your waist and if you need to pull it in tight than you have this unwanted extra string in your pockets. Not impressed with this jacket at all! I would say it USE to be my favorite jacket now it doesn't even make the list! Very disappointed.

I received a coat from my husband from NF in December before Christmas. It did not fit, and I didn't need a coat; so I sent it back. This cost me $7 shipping. I then ordered a hoodie and a jacket with the refund. I received this package a few weeks later. The hoodie fit fine, but the jacket was too small and not at all like the picture...It had horrible white stitching. I sent this jacket back...another $7 shipping. I ordered a different style jacket (this style) in a larger size since the other was too small. This jacket, although as pictured, is too big. I'm over it. Another $7 and a few weeks, and I'd have a good jacket, except now I need to ADD more money to the original gift amount to receive this very same jacket. $21 to return jackets...waiting a week for NF to receive the package...waiting a few days for NF to process the return...waiting a few days for NF to process the refund...wait a week or two for the package to arrive...be disappointed AGAIN. Rinse and repeat. I'm over it. There it sits in it's box in my dining room waiting for me to make time to drive it to Fed Ex to be returned. I get mad every time I think about it. I'm not even sure I'll wear it even when/if I ever receive the right one because I really don't want to advertise your product anymore.
