Bought this for the Michigan fall and for a trip to Chicago. It's warm, which is especially surprising given its light weight. Great for travel because it is so easily rollable, it takes up very little space. Will it keep me warm in the Michigan winter? I doubt it. I also wish it were like 2" longer. Fit is good; I'm 5'5" and 105 pounds. I bought a medium so I could layer but I could easily get away with a small. Stylish and lightweight, good for rainy/wet weather, just wish it were a tad longer.

I like this jacket but the sleeves are a little too short for my liking (if my wrists aren't warm, I'm not warm). Also, I tend to buy jackets with hoods rather than jackets with collars, because I like the way they look/fit and also just in case it starts raining while I'm on the go, I have some protection. However, this hood is one that I would never wear, because it is a VERY strange fit. It looks ridiculous and it's not comfortable. I would have loved it if this hood had a drawstring but was a little wider at the opening.

It was much thinner and more lightweight than I was expecting when I opened the box but it is surprisingly warm. I don't like wearing bulky coats especially while driving or shopping but it also holds up when I am out at the track coaching. I'd recommend this product.

This jacket is warm, comfortable, insulates body heat well and is weightless. I recently wore this jacket in 45F weather with a basic shirt and was kept warm. If attending an event near a river or other body of water on a windy day, a sweater with this jacket or a thicker jacket might be needed.

I do a lot of work outdoors at a farm, needed something lightweight and easy to move in yet still warm and able to wear out in style, this fits the bill!

This jacket has a top shell that is waterproof. I would suggest getting.

I was afraid it wouldn't be very warm, but it has proven to be a reliable insulation layer despite being lightweight and seeming rather thin. It's probably not enough to be a winter coat on it's own, but perfect for backpacking and hiking. It packs very small. Also makes an amazing pillow stuffer and is very comfortable to sleep in. (Not at the same time, sadly.)
The dimensions are very well designed, fits very nicely, especially the hood! Keeps the wind out, perfect fit. Combines well with a thin fleece hat, too.
I have one of (I think) the original models, the turquoise with pale green inside, and my mom has the light silver with dark plum inside... Whoever designed the colors on the original line-up should be put in charge of all color decisions, they are beautiful!! The current colors are meh.
Two places they shouldn't have tried to save weight is the thread and the cuff material. Too delicate. Be careful around Velcro and metal zippers. (Maybe this has been fixed?)

As it is mid-summer in July, I have yet to actually wear this jacket outdoors. It was a stretch to even try it on in the humidity we've recently experienced! It looks nice, but the true test will not come for a few more months when it gets cold in Vermont! The sleeves are a little shorter than I would like them, but I have long arms and inevitably have this issue.

Vintage Blue is much darker in person and not as shiny/reflective looking.

Initially I ordered the vintage blue thermoball coat. It had looked like a silver/ purple tinge online. When it arrived, the blue was like a dark slate blue. Pretty, but not what I was looking for. Then I was afraid all of the colors would be off, so I ordered the glo pink, red, and the magenta to pick which one looked best/ sharpest. The magenta was slightly darker & the red was also slightly darker. The pink was true to the photo. In the end I kept the pink & returned the other 3 coats. The coat itself is a very light, but warm coat. I don't even know that it is on. The size is true to fit. Definitely would recommend for an end of winter/ spring coat.

Fits perfectly, however I think it's more of a spring/fall jacket as I wore it when it was really cold & I still felt really cold.

This jacket is awesome and the silver color is very stylish with pink trim. Only complaint is that it's not as warm as we had hoped. But my 12 year old daughter loves it!

This jacket keeps me warm and cosy almost up to 5 degree Fahrenheit.
The fit is great and I do get a lot of compliments on how it looks. The jacket is very light weight. But for Chicago weather you might need to wear just an additional layer under this jacket to give you a touch of extra warmth. Overall I love this jacket.

Love the Coastline blue color and lightweight feel of this coat. It's not as shiny as it appeared in photos online, and is a great alternative to my long, heavy down-filled parka (although not the same warmth). Great for getting in and out and running errands on a cold day.
