Beware, this jacket runs large. I am in general, a Small/Size 4, at 5'2", 125 lbs. and needed this jacket in an XS. The Small was easily too big.

The silver zipper helps add a higher level of style to this jacket. I wish it was slightly more fitted or tailored for a more slim fit look but overall it is a stylish jacket that can be dressier if needed beyond the gym. A hidden hood would have been a nice addition, especially since I live in rainy Seattle.

Casual wear

Out and about, dog walking, hiking is how I use the jacket. I like everything about it except it is not very wind resistant. On windy days I have to wear a thicker layer but I bought the coat a little large in order to do this. I got the mid grey with the mint green zipper, it is an awesome color. Bought the large which is big in the bust but medium was too tight on the hips. For reference I am 5' 8" tall 36/32/42. Arms are nice and long!

The size chart said that the majority of people my weight, height, shape would buy an XL. I loved this jacket so thought I'd give it a try. I was wearing a thin t-shirt and the jacket was snug (tight through the hips). The top part fit well, but I still couldn't have put a sweatshirt on underneath. Too bad. They make so few in XXL that I will have to wait until next fall to find one in a nice color combo in my size.

I love this product, wear it all the time. Perfect for traveling because it tucks into a small ball and fits into almost any purse/small compartment. Great color choices.

I really like how lightweight and stylish this jacket is, yet, still warm. I live in Michigan and while we need warm coats here, I hate when they're bulky. This one is definitely not and still keeps me comfortably warm. I may not wear this, though, in the very frigid temps (15 degrees or under). The only gripes I have are, it doesn't cover my butt (It is made shorter, not longer) and I feel like the coat runs a bit on the small side. I ordered a large and while it fits great everywhere, when I zip it up, it is a tad tight around my breasts. I feel though, if I ordered an XL, it would be way too big everywhere else.

I wear this everyday. I'm a busy working mom and this jacket provides me with all the things I need. Very functional for my crazy life.

overall love the jacket; nice feminine tapering details front and back. I was stuck between a M and L(I'm usually stuck between a S or M in an overjacket) I actually tried on several Meds and Larges and went with the "smallest" large store had... there was considerable fit difference from one same-sized jacket to another . some of the jackets seemed cut larger in chest/bust/ arms, some were tighter in gut/hip/bottom. If you're not sure or like to layer, i'd order up a size.

I was looking for a slimmer fitting coat when I purchased this item- so I returned it. If you plan to layer under the coat or don't mind it being a little bit boxy then you will love it. It just wasn't for me.

Like this jacket, especially black. Sleeves run big so had to alter them

The sleeve has a bad area of stitching and will have to be returned.

This jacket is comfortable and lightweight however it's not suitable for the cold weather. It's more so meant to be used to layer underneath.

I have found that this jacket works best for layering. I tried wearing over just a t-shirt but I was still cold. When wearing the jacket over a sweater, I felt warm in 20 to 30 degree F temperatures. I have used this jacket for hiking and it works great.

Love the thermoball coat! Second one I have bought.. and definitely will buy more in the future! Great colors.. Purchased clear lake blue and color is true to picture! Love love love it!!!!!

Our very active niece loved this jacket

No xxl sizes left - I need this size for layering in Michigan. I have an XL but I can't wear anything underneath other than a tee shirt thickness. Notice this size is the size sold out in all colors - what does that tell you? Runs small. North face more XXL sizes needed.

bought the medium based on North Face sizing chart. Chart was not accurate to a size medium. Runs small.

I live in NE Wyoming and the wind blows like the devil, but I wanted some lightweight. This coat has meet all requirements! It's a good product!

Lightweight with warmth
