No complaints, it's a great jacket, very close to down in feel and warmth. My GF just prefers the longer version so I'll exchange it for that.

Great waether coverage for traveling. It is packable. Although not very warm it is thin enough to allow for layering underneath without compromising comfort and movability.

I was looking for a lightweight, synthetic jacket for a big backpacking trip and spent a long time looking for a jacket with the best balance between weight and warmth. I haven't actually been backpacking my new Thermoball yet, but it's certainly warm and comfortable for causal use so far. My only complaint is that the sleeves are long and wide. Hoping to fill them with a few layers underneath the jacket.

I love pretty much anything North Face. This jacket is cute and functional. Warm enough for mild weather (50-65 degrees).

Perfect lightweight jacket for fall. Once the weather changes to colder can use as a liner.

I haven't really had a chance to wear and use it to it's potential. However, it is insanely warm and I love the hood. It does protect during a hurricane (as it was the first jacket I grabbed) and does great in the rain. All in all, I can't wait to use this coat in cold weather.

I climb over 200 outdoor stairs daily. It is a perfect weight jacket that does not add any bulk! If it is a bit cooler, I have been adding a hooded sweatshirt underneath. Great fit, great color! Love the sleeve length as my arms are long.

Perfect choice as a travel jacket. I brought this Thermoball jacket on my recent trip to Switzerland. I wore it a couple of times during my stay in the Alps. It did the job - kept me warm and dry. The weather was not as cold as I expected, but on my day up at Jungfraujoch it was all I needed over a fleece. It was also a good mid-layer under a thin rain jacket on the rainiest day. I love that it packs down into its pocket. Easy to throw into a tote or backpack and won't hog up room in your suitcase. The only negative - I noticed a few frayed threads before I had even warn it. Still a great piece for my travel bag.

Weather still warm but liked how it fits my granddaughter. Love your online assistance in assigning item size to body type. It worked fantastic! The colors are true likeness from what we viewed online. Most importantly my young teen likes it.

I love this jacket and am really looking forward to hiking in Iceland with it next month. My only complaint is that it is quite expensive (I have deducted one star for this), but was exactly what I was looking for.

The primaloft technology is amazing in this jacket. I think it's warmer than most of my 800 fill down coats. And incredibly weightless and comfortable. I really like wearing it and I like the fuchsia color. I gave it 4 stars because I think North Face needs to work on its measurements as of late. For example, my 2011 thunder jacket fits like a glove- the sizing is perfect. But it seems like the past couple of years The North Face has changed its sizing and is making their coats with longer sleeves and longer, narrower sizing within the torso area. I would recommend going back to your original sizing. Most women aren't 5'11' and a size 2.

Very pleased with this purchase! I needed a new coat for some time and finally took the plunge and bought this one. I specifically had my Utah skiing trip in mind but I do live in Ohio and plan to continue to wear it throughout the winter. The coat was light weight and easy to move in. I didn't feel bulky or restricted at all. The coat is incredibly warm and kept my body heat in during our skiing at Alta. I've continued to wear it in Ohio and I find it's sometimes too warm depending on the weather but I'd rather take layers off then need to put them on!

Very cute!! I usually wear a large but I went with a medium. The large made me look very large due to the pockets that bugle out. The more I wear it, the coat hurts my wrists as it is VERY tight at the wrists. Warm but not extremely warm by no means. Overall very cozy-I don't wait to take it off (except for the wrist) and very attractive coat!!

The color I ordered - Cosmic Blue Heather - looked more like a bottle of bleach came a bit too close than a cosmic appearance. Other than that, fit is good. Even though per sizing chart I should have ordered a XS or S, I ordered a M. I like having more room through the shoulders with coats. The M is a bit looser through the rest of my torso, but I don't feel restricted through my shoulders. The one thing that would be a huge improvement - have an exterior pocket on the pocket that the coat stuffs into. Then I would have somewhere to put the stuff that normally rides along in my pockets. That would make this coat perfect.

I love this product. It's cute and stylish. It's so lightweight, it doesn't even feel like I have a jacket on. I like the zipper compared to other zippers from North Face. The only complaint I have is I wish the hood was adjustable.

Perfect to wear to summer concerts in Park City or anywhere in Europe during the spring time; Looks good and appropriate. Not warm (but does not suppose to be).

Both my husband and son have had thermoball jackets and love theirs; so, I gifted myself one this year! Did have to go up one size from my usual small to medium as I wanted a slightly loose fit around the belly. It is unbelievably light, warm and offers good neck protection.

Can't believe it could be squeezed in the pocket compartment & can get out with so much ease. The material seem si thin like it's going to tear easily but it's quite sturdy. It's also so light & compact that I can always take it with me during the cold weather or rainy days in my bag when I travel or just go out to shop. I have daughters in UK, Canada, & NY, I'll always be protected fron the cold & wet seasons when I visit them & go touring around or whatever. Great product!
