It is well made, warm and the purple one is a brilliant dark jewel kind of purple. It is a pretty color. I have two complaints. The upper arm of the sleeves is cut way too big. I am an extra small, 5'4", weigh 108 pounds, am an A cup and the XS fits me perfectly - so, just how big is the pattern maker assuming our arms are if we are in an XS? Maybe it is for sweaters but eh, I do not like it. It feels like it takes away from the cool factor. If I want to wear big sweaters I will likely grab a coat rather than a jacket. The sea foam accent color is meh. It is used on the lining and does not look near as high quality as the purple outside calls for. I wish this jacket were just a little edgier. It has the potential but they pulled their punch on this one. It verges on flyover. The texture and feel is really nice and the main reason I kept it. I wouldn't wear it out for the night because of the style, but it is fine for walking the dog, going to the gym, or if Olive Garden is your idea of quality Italian food. For the price point, it ought to be cooler in the design details.

Love the coat but readers should know it's very light and thin- not for cold climates when the weather gets rough. Otherwise it's wonderful. Fit, color, style - all 10s!

Love this jacket! Super comfortable and because it's lightweight (and not bulky) it's great for layering. I'm 5' 2", 100# and the XS fits perfectly. Highly recommend...

This is my first North Face jacket, which in the past I've hesitated about purchasing due to its high price point, but I have to say, I am SOLD on this brand!
I understand what all the fuss is about now. At first glance I was disappointed in how thin this jacket seemed, but it's super warm and comfortable.
For reference, I'm 5'5, 36D, and 28" waist, and the medium fit me perfectly without being tight.

I saw this in blue in a store but they didn't have my size so off to Zappos I went and ordered it in XS and Small. I'm 5'1" 110 lbs and the XS fit perfectly. It's very warm and feels great on!

Love this jacket. I'm 127 lbs, 5'7", and the small was nicely fitted enough to be flattering but also able to fit over a fleece or under a shell. Good for layering in Montana fall or spring, and very packable. As a warning, the cool blue color I purchased was a beautiful blue, but the zipper that appeared yellowish online was quite bright orange. Almost turned me away but I decided I liked it anyway.

I tried to get this hooded thermoball in the NF STORE in the POOL GREEN color. But my size was gone. Then checked NF on line - it didn't carry the green on line. So I finally found 1 on Moosejaw. It's kind of a nice spring color - very pretty. I love these thermoball jackets - I have many of them. I esp like the hooded ones because they cover the head and neck. Everyone in my family has one and loves them.

This was my very first North Face purchase, and my only regret is not buying this sooner! I always categorized NF as being overpriced, but now I understand that is not the case at all. You get what you pay for, and this is the best jacket I've ever owned. Lightweight, stylish, warm, comfortable, and super easy to travel with since it can fold down so small. Love it!

I usually wear mediums but I had to get a small in this jacket to get the right fit. It's super comfy and very versatile. I only owned a long puffer before this jacket and I couldn't be happier with me purchase! Definitely worth the money!

Perfect lightweight jacket with style - I wear this to pretty much everywhere - to go to work, to go to gym, to walk with my dogs, etc. Got bright navy - it is much more purple, which I love - most of my outfits are black/navy/gray so this jacket color goes them very well. Very distinctive, sharp "The North Face" color. Curvy on each side, and enough room for each sleeve so that you can still wear thick sweater / hoodie etc.

Perfect jacket for between-seasons. Lightweight, comfortable, and the Harbor Blue color is beautiful. I bought the small (I'm 5'3 and 114 lbs), and it feels a little roomier than expected. Next time I'll buy the XS.
