I got this jacket specifically for backpacking, but have only worn it to run errands around town so far. It's very warm and super lightweight. I'm 5'9" and got the large and it fits perfect.

I honestly still have my NF ski jacket from 1995, and it is in great condition. Didn't actually need a new jacket but bought this thermoball to have a more packable winter alternative. I still have my NF Wasatch backpack from 1998 too, going strong! Highest quality products. I will always buy from you guys. Nice to have this warm down alternative in the cold Wisconsin Winter. I was looking for a warm but compact jacket that could fit into my backpack during air travel. Bulky jackets are hard to fit under the seat neatly without spilling into the aisle and overhead bin space is limited due to luggage. This jacket was a great compromise.

I use this jacket for all wear.

This is my third Thermoball jacket from North Face. Living in a mild climate, this is the perfect weight. for early morning pr cool day activities or to throw on with jeans for a casual night out. It's comfortable , cute & great colors

I have several thermalball jackets and vests. I got this one in the black and white floral print, which looks very stylish. I ordered a Size M (my normal size) but the shoulder is a little tight if I wear more than a tee shirt inside and the sleeves hit just above my wrists (I like my jackets to hit over the top of my hands). Body fits good, has shape but still have room to add a thin layer under. I'm 5'8" 135 lbs.

I wore this thermoball hoodie to work and got lots of compliments.

I purchased this jacket for a recent trip to NYC. Was trying to pack light. We arrived to a nor'easter and I was worried I would not be warm enough. This jacket was so so warm and I was not cold once. Was way above warmth expectations. I have serval other Northface jackets and vests. Love them all. Karen S

Exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight but still warm enough for a day in the 30s. The mid grey has a slight shimmer without looking metallic. I'm 5'6" 130 and the small is perfect (can be worn with a thin thermal layer on the cooler days). This is the perfect balance of warmth and lightweight - I love it!

I love this jacket so I bought one for my mom and one for my dad as gifts ahead of their Alaskan cruise. It is the perfect jacket for layering and on damp windy days. I can imagine how warm it will keep them on the deck of the cruise ship.

This is my new go-to jacket both for hanging around the house when I keep my thermostat turned down and for wearing outside this spring!

Everyday wear!!

I bought this jacket in grey for my sister. I wanted to give it for Christmas but the XXL sold out too fast - this was the only size that was sold out. She wears it every time I see her. It's just the perfect jacket for Michigan - it still doesn't replace down for extreme weather though. But, the length and hood makes it the perfect everyday jacket.

Love this jacket. Darker grey than I expected but still love it.

I live in Colorado and need a coat to be able to use year around...this coat is easy to carry around and keeps me very warm.
