Love this coat! I wear it everywhere. Very comfortable and lightweight. It is not wind proof - you will need extra layers during windy cold days. I would definitely buy again.

Lightweight fits comfortably

I absolutely LOVE my new North Face Insulated Thermoball Jacket! The "Brit Blue" color is stunning (especially with the black lining), and the slim fit works well for me. I've received a lot of compliments on it. I've been wearing my jacket around town and for hiking. I've used it both solo and underneath a rain jacket (as a midlayer) for added warmth. The Thermoball insulation keeps me "nice and toasty warm". I tend to be cold, so the extra warmth is very important to me. The insulation mimics down, and provides the same warmth as a 600-fill down jacket. The rip-stop nylon shell is both sturdy and attractive, and the jacket is easy to care for. The Thermoball insulation provides moisture protection. I like my jacket so much that I bought a second one (just like it) to keep in reserve! I purchase gear from The North Face because their products have always served me exceptionally well since I bought my first North Face jacket in 1979. I trust the quality and dependability of North Face products. The lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product can't be beat! I love this jacket so much! I bought it in black and silver and they are my favorite jackets! It keeps me warm and it fits it my purse! I love the hood too for rainy days! I highly recommend it!

This jacket is deceptively warm, given how light weight it is. I am usually a cold person, and this jacket keeps me very warm even in cold, damp, and windy winter. It is perfect for travelling, and packs down to a small ball. The zipper is sturdy and easy, and the hood is well proportioned. The pockets are a good size, as is the inside pocket. You could easily stow a passport and wallet inside without issue. I am 5'7 115 lbs and purchased a small. The fit allows me to wear a light sweatshirt or long-sleeved tee without feeling restricted, and the cut of the jacket is fitted nicely. This jacket will be my go-to for everything.

I wear this on a daily basis as I do not like a big bulky coat. This is perfect for me - I will buy another one in a different color!

This jacket is very comfortable and light weight! It is perfect for those 50 degree days when you still need a jacket, but not a heavy winter jacket. It's not bulky, and is perfect for travelling as well.

I use my jacket all the time - for hiking, for walking my neighborhood and for cross country skiing.

I went back and forth with what size to get, the "fit finder" kept saying I needed a M and the model that is shown wearing the jacket had measurements almost identical to me and was wearing a M and it fit her, however, I found a size chart for North Face and my measurements clearly state I fit in the S category. The size charts are almost always right on for me so I ordered the S and it fits PERFECTLY!! Love it!
