These are, possibly, the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I have wide (4E) feet and have been buying New Balance but haven't been happy with the quality lately. These ASICS now give me a better alternative.

i got this as a gift to my nephew.i received it scruffed on the sole and dirty, obviously walked on and used.i called customer service and they were great!Stephanie was very helpful and pleasant!she sent us a replacement right away.my nephew did not bother to try it on and waited for the new one.unfortunately,he was not 100% satisfied with the fit.He has the GT model,he was expecting the same fit.somehow there is toe discomfort in this Kayano model.after all the bother of sending another pair,so sorry that we have to return it.i will order the GT model for him.once again, kudos to the customer service.excellent job!!!

This is the 5th pair of Kayano that I have purchased. They are a little tighter than the last pair (same size). But, it's not an issue for me.

Within seconds of wearing the ASICS Kayano my son said, "these are so comfortable". He's been wearing them for about three weeks and STILL are very comfortable. I didn't even need to add arch support!

These shoes are always ah-mazing. This is my 5th pair in 2 years. I have wide feet (between a b and c width). Asics runs narrow for females so I ordered my female size in male sizes to get that extra width that a women's c overshot for my feet and orthotics anyways.

Better than the two previous GEL-Kayano's I've owned in the past. Not as stable at my Air Pegasus but definitely more cushion so it's a trade off. I'll probably get a second 22's if I can find them on sale.

I'm a big guy at 6'6" and 290 and this is the perfect shoe. I've owned over 100 pairs of the Kayano line. I do 6 to 10 miles every morning and they take a beating from my big frame and I still get 200+ miles out if each pair. My jogging buddy gets 500+ miles out of her much smaller frame. Can't say enough. Would never buy another running shoe. Literally buy every color they make.

Love Asics! Was a Kayano 17 wearer and finally was able to retire those and upgrade to the 22's.. I've put about 20ish odd miles of running on them after some soft breaking in/walking/cardio and they are fitting perfect, very comfortable.

I overpronate, and these shoes (Asics Gel-Kayano) were recommended by a professional sports shoe fitter. I have worn this line for around ten years. They fix my gait and are very comfortable and supportive.

Definitely worth checking out! I have wide, flat feet, so my selection of good shoes is pretty limited (and for some reason, usually only the ugliest colors). I tried on some other Asics that I was a fan of (but didn't like the color), and heard good things about the Kayano's. Two things, definitely order a half size up (I'm a 9.5 in most running/workout shoes, and a 9 in dress/work shoes, but had to get a 10 in these) and be sure to order a step up in width (again, I'm barely a 2E, depending on brand, but had to get the 4E in these). But, once I got the correct size, they are amazing. So comfortable. The gel in the sole is extremely soft, but the sole is supportive enough to help with my mild over-pronation (without looking like an overly wide shoe).

Love them! Ran true to size/just a tad bit large in the toes. I'm a serious Supinator and they are perfect support.

This is without a doubt the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and these shoes help.

I love these sneakers! I bought them to start running, at the advice of a trainer. He says I have "pronated" feet?, so these are good for me. Anyway, I have yet to go running in them, but I love wearing it around! It looks great, and are extremely comfortable! It feels like my feet are getting a hug.

Bought these for my husband as a gift and he loves them. He wears them daily to work and for running/active wear at the gym. He has extremely high arches (& sometimes lower back pain) and wears these comfortably without having any issues. It's also an extra bonus to have running/workout shoes that are in all black vs. crazy colors! Would highly recommend!

Despite reviews saying that this shoe got narrower with the latest iteration, that simply is not true. The Gel-Kayano 21 and 22 both have the same exact show insert. What did change is the way the shoe is built above the foot. The 21 had more stitching and this appears to be one piece of fabric. It is this construction that give the feel that the shoe might be narrower, as it feels a little tighter at first. The first few days, I did feel the shoe touching the top of my foot and toes, but that has since subsided. I have very wide feet and considering reviews was concerned I would have to find something else, but instead, I ended up buying two pairs of these.

Ordered these for my son. He is a cross country runner in high school. He always buys this particular brand and style. After trying many others, these are his favorite for comfort. He needs a new pair every 6 months or less due to heavy usage. Run true to size.

Contrary to quite a few posts here these shoes fit me perfectly both in size and width. The toe box did feel a bit tight when I first put them on (sitting) but as soon as I stood up that feeling disappeared. I'm recovering from a hip replacement so having comfortable shoes with good support is important to me. Of course I'm not running in this shoe but I am walking for distance and I have no complaints, other than price? I'm coming from a Kayano 19 and I'm very satisfied with this shoe!

I love the fact that you can ASICS in wide widths. I tried to purchase a cheaper pair of ASICS, but you can really tell a difference in the materials, the finish and the comfort of the $60 pair vs. the pair. These felt comfortable from the beginning without having to break them in. I haven't logged enough miles to know how they will last, but at this point I am tempted to buy another pair, so I have a backup.

These shoes were recommended for my 15 year old son, who needed extra cushioning and good support. He rates them very highly and finds them much more comfortable than the Nike shoes he had before, which were the same size (I suspect these run a bit bigger than Nike).

Excellent shoe! I am flat footed, so even with an orthotic I need very good shoes, especially for the gym. You definitely get what you pay for, and these shoes are certainly worth the extra cost.

Zappos is so cooperative and wonderful in making exchanges and things work. Was very surprised at their prompt response that our shoes were received and another pair sent. Left nothing to wonder. Great dealing with Zappos, as usual. No charges for shoes to be returned and new ones sent. Thank you Z.

I read in the reviews that these run small in size, but I ordered my exact size, and they fit perfectly. I've worn them several times jogging already, and they feel great. I was worried they might feel a bit heavy, but I didn't notice the weight even though my previous sneaker was lighter in weight. Also, the tongue of my sneakers tend to fall to the side of my shoe while running, presumably due to my ankle pronation. I typically have to stop several times to pull the tongues up, but with these shoes, they stay in place. A pleasant surprise! I highly recommend these, particularly for those who would like to do some running but have pronated ankles and/or flat feet (I have both).

I have been a long time lover of Asics and finally convinced my husband to turn in his New Balance shoes and get these. He absolutely loves the cushion and light weight!
