I loved it so much when I first received it. But after I put in the washer and dryer, It has got lot of thin fibers from other clothes and are very hard to remove even after using lint rollers .

This product is Way thinner than it looked online. It also runs small I bought it for my dad and my father-in-law. One lives in New Jersey and one lives in Georgia and even for Georgia winter this would be to thin on a light breezy day. They should not describe this as a jacket but more like a thin zip up.

I had a Canyonlands I purchased 2 years ago. I decided I would get another color. This one isn't nearly as nice. It's quite a bit thinner, and it's lacking the cinch cord around the waist (along with missing the elastic waistband) and the hood. I wish they had renamed it so it was clear it was a totally different product, in the pictures it looks very similar. Think of it as a light sweatshirt that zips. 6'1, 180 lbs. Medium fits, but it's not an athletic fit due to it being loose at the bottom, which I don't like. I won't be bummed if this one gets ruined at the campfire.

I planned on wearing it daily. But it has a lot of lent balls on it so it doesn't look good. I only had it about a year and only wore it a few times before the lent started appearing on it. It is not very warm. Not happy with this product

I dislike cheap plastic zippers. For this price I feel it should be a metal one

Tried twice to get the correct size for this product to fit my son-in-law. He normally wears a large and the XL didn't even fit him. I don't think I would buy this product as a gift again.

Dear North Face.
I am a happy and loyal customer of your brand, for years and years I am wearing your high quality, beautifully crafted, versatile products. So far I was very happy with the brand of TNF.
My recent purchase however made me very disappointed!
The item purchased :
- was not the same color as described (not even close) Wanted a bright RED color as your photo shows, got off/dark reddish/grayish
- size was very small (all my TNF products are L size, this one was L however did not even fit)
Briefly, I could not even wear it even though I really needed it!! So I had to sell it which made me again, disappointed and truly sad.
Any solution regarding this case from your side is highly appreciated.
Sincerely,
M.P.

This jacket is worthless as far as keeping you warm. The wind goes right through it. The hood is way too big and does not have drawstrings to pull it tight. Another thing I don't like about the hood is that it is designed to cover your head and neck at the same time and the shape of it makes it bunch up when not having it pulled over your head.
What I do like about is that the material is extremely soft and comfortable. I will only use it as a House Coat however because it is useless against the elements.

I am very dissatisfied with the difference in color from the red heather in the picture. The jacket I received was more of a maroon than a red.

I use it to go out as like a jacket but found its way to thin to wear anywhere without a jacket over it.

I have this sweatshirt (almost more of a super light jacket) in grey and have been thrilled with how comfortable and versatile it is, so when I saw it online in Outer Space Blue Heather I didn't hesitate to order it. I should have. The color is much more blue than it appears - what looks online like a grayish blue is actually more of a medium denim blue, and now that I read the reviews I can see several other people felt the same. It's going back. Great sweatshirt, but the inaccurate color combined with the known fact that it's a hassle to return things ordered directly from the North Face website means I will probably stick to purchasing items I see in person in a retail shop.

I've had the hoodie for about 4 months. I wear it a lot but it's been one thing after another. It's falling apart. It started with the way in the zipper and now the stitching behind the hood is coming out. The North Face used to be reliable outdoor gear but it seems it's lost that focus.

I have two Canyonlands Full-Zip jackets bought in 2016-2017 that I absolutely love. I just bought a new one (Nov '24) and it's a completely different product. Cheap, shiny, lightweight fabric that won't last a couple of washes. Horrible craftsmanship. Looks and feels like a cheap knock-off. Be wary of positive reviews, those were probably made before quality went downhill.
