It's a great hoodie but the color is more like a burgundy.

Nice overall jacket, was slightly dissapointed as the fit and zippers were not of typical NF quality, but being made outside the US may be the reason. I like most NF stuff and will continue to buy because of their guarantee, but would not buy this again due to the poor craftsmanship/zippers.

I really want to like this piece but it doesn't do anything well for being outdoors - more of an around the house and cool evening city fashion item. Based on the weight I expected it to be like a polartech microfleece or 100wt but this is barely thicker than a good cotton t-shirt. Gentle breeze goes right through it which gets chilly immediately if you've worked up any moisture. So it has a very narrow range of temps and use...but it's comfortable and looks good. Scallion color arrived darker than pictured which was fine (but not at dark as the cedar). Large fits a bit too trim even for an athletic cut but strangely the xl is pretty swimmy (I usually wear large even in most companies' athletic cuts). The screen printed logo won't last long...cheap ink. So if you want it for the logo, oh well...and if you want it for the outdoors, it's very limited. Hood is well made, good fit but a little big...fits better when fully zipped up. I like it enough, I'll keep it, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Dramatically smaller than the medium North Face vest that I just bought in the spring, so I passed it along to my 14 year old. Disappointed that two garments labeled men's medium could not possibly both be worn by the same person.

Nice little jacket with a great price. Fit great right out of the box even with the handy thumb slots but the sleeves felt a little too long. I used this garment for climbing the first day, and it was pretty comfy, the hood fit over a climbing helmet as well. The jacket isn't mind blowing or anything but will do its job for a price point piece.

Had to return as it did not fit. Ordered a large but needed a medium (Med out of stock). Like the look of it, felt comfortable, just a little too big.

I normally have no problem with The North Face tops but being 6'5" 190 lbs and I could almost fit a second person in the XL hoodie with me and the sleeves were just barely long enough.

The jacket did not arrive exactly as described on the picture online. The only difference was the zippers were black and the online picture showed them to be red. Other than that the quality of the jacket has been great so far and the fit has been great.

I ordered this item and they sent me the NEW 2015 version. The new version omits the thumb holes, which is the reason I considered it in the first place. The only NEW fleece that has thumb holes is the hooded one. Don't need a hood, so thanks for nothing North Face. Had to send it back.

The Canyonlands polar fleece jacket was as expected, except the color, which was not even close to want was purchased at The Northface website. Liked the jacket , Not the color.

Inside is a fleece and it is good for spring jacket. You can also wear it as zipup hoodie and wear an outfit on top of it for autumm !m

The zipper is really wrinkled and wavy. I thought giving it a wash might relax the material but it didn't. I've bought these in the past with no issues. The fit is amazing.

The Canyonlands used to be my go-to zip up, but each year they have changed for the worse. The waist, cuffs and collar used to hemmed, now they use an elastic piping that is nowhere near as comfortable. They've also changed the main zipper to a finer tooth that bunches up and looks terrible.
Each model change has gotten progressively worse in quality, yet more expensive. I won't be purchasing any more of these. Too bad, they used to be my favorite.

Would not buy this again. I had bought the same jaclet about a decade ago. The quality of this item is much less in comparison. It is thin cheap and flimy by previous version standards.

5'5" and 135 lbs. Size small runs large. Sleeves and torso too long, despite multiple hot water washes and high heat drying.

Bought this to use under a motorcycle riding jacket for som extra warmth. The material in the unlined part was thinner than I expected it would be. Not very warm. Not a very good fit for me. The body was too tight yet the sleeves were to long. I returned it to North Face and will look elsewhere for something more suitable for my purpose. Beside the thinness, the item seemed to be well made and and would look good in an office casual setting. However, for my purpose, looks don't matter as much as function.

Front jacket feel warmer because inner layer which is made out of cheap material. And the back gets wrinkled due to irregular seams. I like the old embroidered logo and too expensive for the quality.

It's going back. Received it today and was bummed out as soon as I opened it. It's NOT fleece, but some kind of cheap slick nylon. A sweatshirt (thin one) not a jacket.
When I first opened it, I was convinced it was an Aliexpress knockoff. The material looks and feels cheap, the stitching is sloppy, and a slight cold breeze went right through it. I put it on, went outside in 45 degree weather and Sri's outside for about five minutes. I repeated this experiment with a Hanes hoodie, and the hoodie was warmer.
I'm not sure if someone returned a knockoff in place of an authentic product and I got stuck with it, but they should be checking these things out. Even at 50% off, I can't keep this "jacket" it's still about $30 overpriced
