I liked the shoe, but it was too small. I have always worn a size 7 in all Asics shoes. this one is just too short.

My 4th pair of Asic Gel Kayano and I would not want any other activity shoe. I am an ole lady who loves to walk and these shoes give me cushion and bounce. The same fit from year to year. If this shoe fits, you can't go wrong.

Exactly what I asked for, came in about 48 hours of purchase. This is my third pair of Asics Kayanos - rhey are the most comfortable padded/gel show out there. Great for running, sports, everyday wear or orthopedic use which is the main reason I started wearing them as recommended by my podiatrist. Thanks Zappos!

I have been wearing the ASICS GEL-Kayano for about 5 years. I buy a new pair every six months. However, for the pair previous to this one, I deviated and bought a different pair of ASICS. They were more expensive than the Kayanos, so I was hoping for great things. I wore them for about 4 months and then gave in and bought another pair of Kayanos (these). I am so happy to be back in Kayanos. They are perfect for me, providing support and cushion. I ran 25 miles in them in the first week I had them...not one blister or one uncomfortable moment. Highly recommend and I hope they never stop making them!!

I ordered these sneakers because I previously owned the kayano 19 style. I didn't feel that the sneakers were too narrow like the other reviews mentioned. They fit very comfortably and fit simarlarly to my old pair. I only wish the arch support was a little better so that I didn't have to use my orthotics.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have plantars fasciitis, heal pain and narrow feet and can never find a shoe that accommodates my orthotic and doesn't hurt my feet when I walk. Finally, I found these thanks to another reviewer. Thanks to Zappos for letting me return countless pairs of shoes that didn't work. Thanks to Asics for making this great gel sole. Can you start making a casual shoe for narrow feet with the same gel soul? It would be much appreciated. I may not have the most stylish shoes on my trip to Italy but I will have the most comfortable shoe.

I wanted to like this shoe but it did not work for me. I normally buy 9.5 in Asics running shoes but these 9.5s were too long in the toe and the 9s were too short. As other reviewers noted, the toe box is narrow and sort of pointy. I don't understand why Asics sizes vary so much with their shoe styles. The all black color (even with the silver accents) is rather dark and masculine. I prefer my black shoes to have a white sole at least to brighten them up. The positive aspect of these shoes is that they seems super durable with heavy-duty cushioning (especially in the heel). Probably would be great shoes for the right feet.

This shoe seems to run small. Had to order 1/2 size larger than usual. It worked well with my custom orthotic. Loved the color and style.

Have only walked in them (no running in them yet), but they are comfortable. They are a bit narrower and shorter than the Kayano 21, but for me, the slightly narrower toe box feels better. I run every day and suspect that these will be comfortable based on how they feel so far.

This is my third pair of Asics Kayanos and the technology just keeps getting better. I had my stride checked at an Asics location and I need motion control shoes, that's why they recommended Kayanos. I've never been disappointed by them and this last pair are even more cushioning and supportive. Asics run true to size and that hasn't changed in any of the revisions. I just can't say enough good about these shoes. I love them and don't plan on changing and Zappos service was so fast, with good prices, I'll be getting them here.

Loved my precious Asics, but they have changed their shoe. They have shortened the shoe by about a 1/2 size compared to my other Asics so I went up a 1/2 size. They are also more narrow and less supportive than previous years. Now I am going to wear Saucony.

These are so comfortable! They are like walking on a tempurpedic mattress, right out of the box. I am almost tempted to get another pair in another color. Try them, you won't be sorry.

I have been wearing GEL-Kayano for years and have always loved the shoe. I could even wear half a size difference and still find the shoe amazingly comfortable. I could always put on a pair and go running first day no problem. So. I was extremely disappointed when I put on the GEL-Kayano 22 and found the shoe has been changed to a completely different shoe. The front is much tighter and no longer comfortable. And the fit overall is tighter. To be fair, it is probably a decent shoe and if you order a size up, then it may fit fine. I am still in the throes of disappointment though that Asics killed my favorite shoe.

I'm so disappointed in Asics right now. I have some Kayano 20s and I love them and I think the 21s are okay too - I need to try to find some of those. Don't know why they changed them but the do not feel like the same shoe at all and at this price it's awful.

This is my second pair of Gel-Kayano's, great for narrow feet. I have a hard time finding shoes in 2A and Asics delivers.

I really like these shoes because of the cushioned sole throughout the toe to heel. Your seriously walking on a pillow/waterbed and it's heaven! A+ for cushioned sole. I wear a wide shoe so I ordered a wide and typically on the Asics brand I have plenty of extra room amongst my toes and top of foot. With the Kayano it is a closer fit then I prefer, however the material is stretchy so I know soon after a bit of wear, I will get the extra, relaxed width that I desire. The toebox area is high enough so it's not crushing down on your toes or pinching the sides of them. I have Plantar Fasciitis and have not had the shoes long enough to see if it will help relieve the pain. At this moment I rate it 4 stars for arch support. Overall, a good purchase, I'm going to knock off 1 star for width, I felt they were a bit on the narrow side. Buy this shoe, they are so comfy!

I just love this Asic Kayano! There is lots of gel comfort and the material is sturdy unlike the Nimbus 22 which tore. Kayano is narrow near the toes which I like so if you have wide feet these are not for you.

I used to be a Nike fan, then Brooke but now Asics. These shoes fit my foot - normal to narrow, good arch support and are light weight for running. Don't change them.

Absolutely the most comfortable shoes I own and I own over two hundred pair. Glad I got a half size larger. I get lots of compliments on the looks of this shoe.

The 22 is definitely more narrow than the previous edition. I had to order 1/2 size up and definitely go with the W. The cushioning is still the most luxe of any athletic shoe, and the styling that probably narrows the toe box, makes my feet (even with bunions) look great. (My normal walking shoe is the Brooks Addiction--terrific comfort and support, but orthopedic appearance best camouflaged by winter slacks.). So, love the look, and wear for 3-4 hours until my feet swell and the shoe pinches my toes.

Love the look of this shoe, however it runs small. Small and narrow. I hated returning it.

I always wear a 9 1/2 narrow in Asics running shoes and I am having to return them for a 10. It seems like a really comfortable show but definitely runs 1/2 size short.

I love this shoe. Great support and cushioning. My last Asics were 9.5 but I had to go up to a 10 in this shoe. I have a very narrow foot and the 10 2A were perfect. I got a great price at Zappos plus I love the free returns if necessary.
