My favorite shoe, I have had plantar fascitis in the past and the only shoe that has helped this is the Kayanos.

I agree with the reviews about the toe box being narrow. When I put these shoes on, I was delighted with the support, cushioning, and the look. They fit like a glove! My first 2 mile walk was great, then the 6 mile walk left me with a huge blister on my my big toe.

I have been wearing the Kayano for years and I didn't have the size problem that a few other review's mentioned. The toe box is a bit narrower than previous versions, but it still feels fine.

I where these to work where I stand all day and I love them! Very comfortable and look great.

This shoe is beautiful, but heavier than other running shoe. I brought this pair of shoe for my daughter cross country training, the shoe slowed down her whole process & she gave up to wear this for training. This pair of shoe ended up for casual wear now.

Always the best for my feet. I run a lot and these motion control shoes keep my overprinator feet in check. I wish there were different color options tho... 10.5 Wides are hard to find!

I listened to others review regarding size. So I went up a 1/2 size and big mistake. Too big. I love asic and will stick to true size from now (8) when ordering. Luckily zappos is a breeze with return/exchange.

I pronate when I run and this is the best shoe I have found to help with that problem. I have worn Gel Kayano for many years. I not only wear them for running but for work and play too :)

I teach fitness classes and I have 5 pair of the Gel Kayano 22. I just like everything about them. I have had to go down a half size and there's not as many choices in a 5 1/2 vs. a size 6.

I have been a long time buyer of Asics running shoes. I buy them for their motion control/stability. However as others have commented they have changed the room in the toe box. I therefore ordered a wide, which worked in the toe box area however was large in the ankle area. Might have to seek different brand in future, I'm sorry to say.

I have had 2 pairs of the 20th generation and so when it was time to get new shoes I bought this one and was disappointed to find that the cushioning is less and the toe area is more narrow. I didn't even run in them I walked around and by the 4th hour I was wanting my older ones. My toes were squashed so it made my feed feel tired and My arch did not feel very supported. I overpronate and need the support. So sad. I loved the 20th gen model and now I have to go shoe shopping again. I had to return it. thanks zappos for being so flexible...Love it!

I love the Asics GEL-Kayano since the 20 and the 21's came out. I wear orthotics which require almost a full size bigger and a women's 11 medium and it's hard to find a black (all the colors just make my feet look even bigger) pair of running shoes that give me the support and comfort I need. To complicate matters I have a Morton's toe (2nd toe is bigger than the first by a significant amount) and so the toe box needs to be wide enough to accommodate that issue. Believe me, I dread shoe shopping but with Zappos I'm able to try the shoe on and if it doesn't fit right I can return it at no extra cost. Well, I found with the first pair I ordered that the left toe box was rubbing in the 22's which has never happened before in the 20's or 21's. So, the Zappos Rep asked me to exchange for another pair and I'm glad I did because the second pair fit perfectly.

Love the ASICS Gel-Kayano line. These lived to the standards that I expect in this sneaker line. Perfect fit!

This is one of the best running shoes I have bought, and I have been running for 15+ years!

It's not my favorite color but because I bought them on sale there were not many left. This is my second pair and because it is an awesome shoe and fit, I didn't really care about the color. I wear this shoe to walk several miles every day. My shoe size is an 8 1/2 but from previous experience I knew to order a 9 1/2. It fits my narrow feet perfectly (it comes in several widths). I also love the quick Zappo service.

What a bummer! The Kayano 21 model was the PERFECT shoe for my narrow feet (10AA). I was so happy because it's so hard for me to find comfortable shoes. I wore them almost every day for walking. But the Kayano 22 is just too narrow, especially in the toes! The 10AA just doesn't fit anymore. I tried the 10 regular and it is too wide. I would have been a customer for life if Asics hadn't messed with the design of these shoes....

Love this shoe! I overpronate so this shoe is perfect. I have been wearing the Asics GT 2000 series for years but decided to try this one since I was having to add inserts into my shoes for arch support. The Kayano 22 was perfect from the first run. I did size up a half size and it fits great. I actually bought a second pair since they always seem to change the shoe from model to model. Highly recommend for arch support.

I wear a 10.5 AAAA. Very hard to find shoes. Although a 2A, with socks very comfortable. This is first time I tried this brand and found more comfortable than what I had been wearing

Taking into account the comments from folks before me, I purchased my beloved Asics Gel-Kayano the 7.5 I always get but in wide rather than regular this time. They are fabulous.

Lots of toe room which I need! Seems to have more cushion than the past few versions also.

I purchased this style shoe for the first time,because of the extended size. I have neuropathy in my feet and wear custom orthotics. These are like walking on air and really support my foot. The color is a little loud but no one will lose me in a crowd! I wear a12 med. I ordered these in a 13 med.

This is a fantastic shoe! Unlike older ASIC styles, my big toe doesn't wear through the mesh.

Very comfortable and very lightweight!!

I have always worn a med but these shoes although comfortable were a little narrow. I am exchanging them for a wide. Thank you Zappos for your patience.
