I love this pack. We bought it for my daughter when she was 2, and have purchased several more as gifts for friends. The small size is great for toddlers/pre-schoolers. It feels like THEIR pack. Enough space for a snack, change of clothes, a few books or toys. We use it for daycare/school and travel. The only downside is that it's too small to fit full size notices and projects, but we've been able to work around it. Love this backpack!

My 3 year old uses this to go everywhere. Doesn't leave it behind for any reason. Has enough space for everything he carries. Toys, Snacks, Clothes, EVERYTHING. Excited to use it on a flight we are taking soon.

It came and was so adorable. Just very small. I was planning to use it for my daughter going to preschool, but it is comparable to the size of a small lunch box. I ended up returning it because it is not appropriate as a school back pack.

I used this for a diaper bag, although I know it's small I think it's REALLY REALLY SMALL it should be just just a bit bigger.

My 3 year old son already uses one of this for kindergarten. The size is just perfect. We can fit all he needs, a change of clothes, a small lunch box and the parent-teacher communication notebook. In a few months my little girl will be starting her kindergarten so we got her this back pack so she also has one like her older brother.

Nice backpack but too small for my 4th grader. Surprisingly smaller than what I thought I ordered but works great for my 3 year old.

When they say kids. They mean really little kids. Not youth. This might fit a toddler or 3-5 year old. Other than that is is cute.

This is a great stylish back pack. It is well made and appears to be high quality. I purchased the pink with orange piping for my rising kindergartener. She loved the pack however while practicing a trial run with her supplies we discover a regular pocket folder would not fit. We had to bend it to make it fit. ots way to small for a regular school use but perfect for a preschooler who may not be transporting folders and homework.

This was a gift for a toddler grandchild who loves bears. But most of the bears have their backs not their faces showing. Not like the picture in the catalogue. don't know if reordered it would be different

Beautiful but too small for my two year old toddler who still needs to bring diapers wipes and lunch to playgroup. Would be great if just for lunch.

I purchased this for my 3 year old nephew for preschool. I could only assume the size of this thing was a joke. I read the reviews before purchasing and everyone said it fit so much in it. However, when it arrived, it could probably fit a toddler sheet and that is all. The height is about the size of a laptop screen and the width matches about the same. Unless you're just dying to hold one thing and one (small compact) thing only I would suggest getting a bigger backpack.

I don't like the fact that I can't seem to log back in to my account to get information on how I go about returning this item for a credit.

This backpack is seriously very very small. I bought it for my 2 year old daughter for her nursery school days and although it is meant for a small person, it barely had enough room for a couple of diapers and a change of clothes. The only nice part about it is that the colors are beautiful but it really doesn't seem useful for anything but a couple of diapers. I was expecting something a little bigger for the price.

Yes it is cute, but I've seen larger doll backpacks. It's extremely small! Like what can even fit in it?! A folded piece of paper

This bag is too small for a school bag. I bought this for my daughter for kindergarten and needless to say it's a tad small for school. I hope this helps!

I brought this backpack for my 3 year old to carry to school but its so small she couldn't fit any of her supplies in it. Overall it is a very nice backpack but for the price and size I would not purchase this again!

My daughter was gifted this by my mother. What we got wasn't even close to the stock photo online. It's grey with blown up triangles and very little purple. it's still a nice bag despite the CLEAR difference of what's online and what you get lol

This backpack is awesome. Perfect for toddlers. The only thing that would make it better is a proper chest clip.
The Velcro one is completely useless. It's too small and doesn't hold. A clip is essential for hiking with toddlers.
I run outdoor preschool programs and wouldn't recommend this backpack because of he lack of that one feature.
IN every other way it's awesome.

This is extremely small! A pair of 2T sweatpants (folded in half) and a thermal shirt will literally take up the entire length of this backpack. If you were to place a pair of 2T shorts in the bag unfolded, they would not fit. A complete change of clothes (pants, shirt, shoes, socks and underwear) along with a small blanket would render this hopelessly full. If your child is still in diapers and needs the accompanying wipes with everything I mentioned above, this is NOT for you. Very cute and nice quality, but quantity is not a redeeming trait this lovely backpack possesses!!

The best part about this backpack is its color. Other than that the bag is just too small and cannot be used for more than a few snack and a water bottle to carry around at an amusement park or long car ride.

Ok. When I got this thing I thought it was a joke. This is for my 4 year old daughter. You know how when kids go somewhere like overnight they want to pack themselves? Like putting in dolls, stuffed animals, etc. Well this thing would maybe hold a bag lunch and that's it. The way I can describe it is it would hold a small teddy bear. It is definitely baby, not preschool. It's super cute though but needs to be about 30-50% bigger and possible offer name stitching like LL Bean and they would have a winner. Northface designers: A kids backpack should at least be able to hold a standard size folder a kid would receive in preschool, otherwise this is just not practical.

This is a super cute bag in the surf color. However, this bag is smaller than a dinner plate. I could not get much in this bag. If you want a very small bag to stay out of your way and just need it to stash a wallet, a hand towel and a granola bar, this might work great, otherwise, I see little practical use for something so small. It is good for a two year old's size-wise but any older/bigger person might desire something much larger.
