Backpack is for my daughter as we are going on vacation in a few weeks. It is small but we wanted something that she can carry and also will not fall apart as I'm sure she will test its durability limits. So far so good.

I bought two of these, one for my niece(3 years old) and one for my nephew(2 years old). I had been looking for a small backpack for them, and this is just perfect! It's small and lightweight, so it doesn't bother their small bodies, but it's also roomy enough for them to pack plenty of toys, outfits, books, etc. in them. They both love their packs and want to wear them constantly. Definitely a great purchase!

This backpack was the perfect size for my 16 mo old daughter. I ever tried it on my 4 year old son and it was a decent size for him too. Very cute, fits her snacks, diapers/wipes and extra set of clothes. She carries it around herself and love it. I'm really happy I got it! We get a lot of compliments on it.

Bought this for my 2 yr old son as we got rid of his diaper bag. This is the perfect size for him. I put in a couple of pull ups, wipes and snacks. He lives it so much and insists on carrying himself.

I bought this as a gift for my 4 year old nephew.I loved the bag, however it was too small gor him. I would recommend this for a younger child atound 2 years old or a child with a small body frame ( my nephew is very tall for his age). Other that the size i loved the bag, although it is small it is very roomy. I eventually returned it for a bigger bag - the squash recon.

Yes, this is a small bag but it perfect for my two year old son. Regularly I fit 3-4 diapers, a snack, wipes, sweatshirt, a first aid kit and some toy cars and crayons/note pad. Small enough he can wear big enough to fit what we need. We love it and are looking to get one for our daughter!

Love it! And baby girl loves it to. Takes it to grandmas house. Great for small toys and her board books. And this mama loves that it doesn't have characters and it's great quality material that'll stand up through her toddler years.

Purchased as gift, so that my grandson could go hiking with his Dad and have a back pack like his. They live in Tokyo, Japan and are outside a lot. So many beautiful parks, outdoor areas and the mountains to go explore. He is 3 1/2 years old and just loves it. Water bottle slot is wonderful. Perfect size for him to carry his lunch/snack, a few toys and to be able to explore the outdoors and bring home a few things little boys love to pick up outside. Also enough room for small washcloth, extra shirt if you need to pack some clothes. Just a all around great backpack.

My two year old son loves this bag for carrying around his snacks and favorite toys. It is the perfect size for a toddler, but not for school aged children. Super cute!

about two years ago we bought this bag for our toddler. we were wanting something to get him trained up for hiking trips and it's been perfect for that and so much more. I will say right off the bat that this isn't a kindergarten/school bag. it's too small for that. it does come in handy as a little hiker for a 2-5 year old (or more if your kid still fits it). just load them up with their own juices, snacks, and whatever else you can. it also comes in handy as a quick grab diaper bag. keep a couple diapers in it, wipes, snacks, sippy cup, and change of clothes. why carry a huge diaper bag into a store for an hour or more when you have this thing which is obviously his/hers? do keep a small "base camp" bag in the car for backup. for road trips we'll load it up with his kindle, headphones, car charger, and few other necessities. this bag is a perfect workhorse if used to it's fullest, and we're expecting it to be used for several more years, mostly as a road trip bag for his personal stuff he wants to keep within reach. we're about to have a second child in march and we're gonna get a new bag for that child too...but we're gonna wait for better boy colors to hit the shelves again. black is boring, red isn't our style, and the blue is too girly for us. we got the green camo pattern when it was out. too much to hope for a blue camo for next year's style? we'll wait.

My two-year old used this while traveling. I wanted him to have a little backpack where he could keep a couple of items for the flight. It's small, but perfect for a toddler!

I purchased this bag in black for my two year old son to use for his first plane ride. It is the perfect size for his toddler body, and he was especially thrilled with the strap he could place across his chest. The bag's main compartment fit a few small books, trucks, and a mini iPad with room to spare. I can't comment on its durability as it was used only twice, but based on the material, I I would expect it to last for his younger brother's use in the future.

My two-year old granddaughter will carry her favorite teddy bear, water cup and favorite books with her at all times. The comfortable fit of the north face backpack gives her the stylish yet practical way to carry everything with her. The day she received the backpack, she wore it all day. She just enrolled in day care for the first time and was very shy going that I wish that I could send you the cutest photo of her walking to class with the back pack on ..as She wears it to day care everyday. She's putting things in the many pockets on the back pack. She's using the straps to secure the back pack around her waist. The curiosity of a two-year old to explore the many features is full endorsement that, for a youth back pack, north face thought of every possible use for a kid design. I would buy this back pack over and over. Actually I have purchased a north face back pack for my school age children every year. They like the styles but more importantly the durability and many features are so well designed for their computers, books, keys, headphones and everything a student uses throughout the day. When I found out my granddaughter was going to day care, the north face back back was the first item I bought. And she loves it.. At two years old. Now that says it all. Excellent products.

We bought this for my 3 yr old to use for his school backpack and it works perfectly. It is a great size; not too big, not too small, and the Velcro strap across his chest keeps it from falling off. I am able to put his sippy cup in there along with a change of clothes and there is stiill some space. Overall perfect for the preschool aged child.
