We like the narrower toe that is not featured in the walking shoe.

This is a top-notch made in the USA walking and casual shoe that runs true to size with a last designed for wide forefoot, deep toe box, and narrow heel. It is very comfortable and one thing that seems unique to it is the heel height or drop is noticeably lower than the average walking shoe. This helps in minimizing leg muscle tightness and can be just the ticket for people that have back pain aggravated by walking. This shoe replaces the exact same model I've used for many years.

I require wide (4EE) shoes to accommodate orthotic inserts. The leather uppers are make wearing them a little hot. The order was placed on Feb 12, they were received on Feb 22. The website indicated shipping would take 2-3 days.

Took awhile to get them broken in but now they are fine. The toe is scuffed up but that is from kicking porch steps to get the snow off. Overall not a bad shoe but I wouldn't say a great shoe.

I use this shoe for work and I am on my feet most of the day and do a lot of walking. This shoe runs large and is pretty comfortable but is very stiff.

Good shoes, broke in well. They squeak a little bit they are comfortable.

They squeak when You walk in them because the tongue rubs...trying to find a solution...

These are comfortable to walk in. They were bigger than other shoes I have at same size. Because they are big the padding on sole is uncomfortable when standing in one spot. But if I push my feet back when standing they are comfortable.

Had these about a month and so far they are very comfortable. I've had many "made in US" New Balance before and they were all good.

first I wanted to let you know I am delighted the shoe product that I having been purchasing for a period time is made here in UNITED STATES,and is the most comfortable shoe I wear on a daily basis.

wear the 706 about 96% o the time. Like the leather but would like to have them in brown.

Thgis model is my go to NB shoe for walking because they go on of easy and ery comfortable. I've likely bought over ten pairs in the past. I would rate five stars if they had no plastics in the design and used natural materials or were totally made from USA components as well as being made here. Sizing is accurate they are just a very good shoe if your gonna be on your feet alot. Not good for running but walking and stanting is there forte..

The Postals are very comfortable but the shoes sqeek and I don't know how to stop the sqeek.

for those hearing squeaking while you walk use the two top holes for the laces on the top and that will take care of the problem. this also works to help have the shoe gripe the foot better allowing your foot to stay in the shoe. give a thumbs up if this is helpful. thank you

I also have a New Balance MW813BK Size 14E wide fits fine but no longer made. I found the Postal 706v2 same size but seems bigger. I could have used a 13.5 but size not available.

I've always worn NB shoes, and these didn't disappoint. Very comfortable for walks up to 2+ miles. Only complaint - they squeak! Hardly a deal-breaker but odd. Too early to judge durability - if they hold up I'll add a star.

This is my second pair. They're better then the first which had two lace holes that were not punched through.
