I had been eyeing this sandal for a year so I wanted to love it of course. The truth is the leather was so loose. It was like they’d already been worn for years. It was also a tad bigger than my normal 10 size. I thought about sending them back and getting a different pair to see if leather was the same. It’s just too soft, my foot could move around. Not for a narrow foot. Lastly there is no support in this sandal.

Beautiful shoes. But, they stretch like crazy. And after minimal wear, the toe on one of the shoes wore through. Trying another pair, thankfully Zappos was amazing about it. But after seeing a second review like mine, it may be a problem with the shoe. The other review wasn’t posted about the toe wearing through (as I just read) when I bought these. Disappointing. Hopefully second pair work out.

I wanted to love these stylish sandals, but the ankle was too tight (and I have small ankles and narrow feet), and it dug into my ankle to the point where I had to return them. Very disappointing

Oddly, I had a similar experience as another reviewer. I typically wear an 8.5 or 39 in Birkenstocks but based on reviews I ordered the 9 Bed Stu (thinking the 8 would be too small length wise). The 9 fit perfectly in the length of the shoe. Also around the ankle. But the straps that go over the sides of my foot were HUGE. So huge they gaped open & you could see the floor underneath. SO ODD. It was almost like they'd been cut poorly since the rest of the shoe fit so well. I do have narrow feet with no arch, but I was surprised they fit so well in two places but so poorly in one. I tried to find a pair locally that I could try - just for reference to see if the pair I received was an odd pair - but they didn't have my sizes. I was however able to find a pair of Roan's that fit great. Roan is made by Bed Stu in KC, come in half sizes & are about half the price. So while I really wish I could have kept these (esp in the fun metallic color) the Roan's worked better so the Soto's were returned.

So cute! But not comfortable and the sizing is terrible. I wear an 8.5 and the 9 was way too big and the 8 was way too small. Such a bummer

This is my second pair of this style. The first pair was great in the camel color. Love it! However this shoe, same size, was a 1/2 " narrower in the bridge strap so I had to return. Not nearly as comfortable

I really liked the styling of the sandal. The leather was soft. Sadly, the top strap is not adjustable. It was painfully tight across my ankle.

Love the look of these, but too wide for my narrow foot. I did size up, which seemed correct length. I think the ankles would rub, especially the fake snaps (not adjustable). No arch.

shoes have been worn. Toe imprints in toe section and dirt and grime imbedded in the soles...very upset, when I pulled them out I did not even try them on because you could see they had been worn for awhile and then returned.

The stitching near the zipper on both shoes came undone after 7 hours worth or wear. Returned. Made cheap

I got these in my original size and the heel was too big and my foot slipped around. I ordered a half size smaller and the shoe was a tad too short. There is no arch support. The metal buttons on the side dug into my ankle in an odd place and hurt, which made the shoe painful, so they are going back. I loved the look and style, but felt they were not worth the price either. The leather was also a little too stiff for me.

I wish these sandals were as cute in person as in the video, they look a bit cheap and for the price, I hoped they would look better on. I'll be returning. The front strap is offset and looks weird. You can't really see that in the photo. Disappointing because in the photo, they really look nice. They seem true to size, pretty comfy for the couple of seconds that I wore them.

I had to give a 2-star overall - I’ve had these sandals about three months now and they are almost impossible to walk in. They have the slipperiest sole of any shoe I’ve owned. They only have a small bit of grip on the heel, and even though I’ve tried to scratch them up, I slip a bit with each step - sidewalks, roads, I have to purposely think about walking heel down when going up or down ramps, etc. and have almost fallen several times. Why couldn’t they have put grip on the whole sole??? I’ve also had to put moleskin on the inside as some of the interior metal pieces hit my ankle in just the wrong spot. And my husband has had to reflux the sole to the sandal. All this is secondary to the slipping. I think they are adorable but I would not buy again.

I love and own many pairs of Bed Stu shoes. That being said, these are a FAIL. I’ve been wearing them only a month and they have already separated the leather from the back zipper. Complete waste of money and so unlike Bed Stu quality from my other shoes. Makes me question if it was a major design flaw or are these even authentic Bed Stu? So disappointed.

Loved these right out of the box. Unfortunately I gave them a one star rating overall du to the fact that my third time wearing the sole separated from the shoe- on both feet! I expected a better quality shoe for this price.

Love these sandals but they are falling apart, have only been wearing them two weeks. The footbed is separating from the sole at the toe, on both sandals! The leather is really nice and soft and they do fit well and so comfortable. I’m just disappointed with the quality. These were a splurge for me, I really wanted a leather gladiator sandal.

I got two pairs in black and brown. Liked the color/style of the brown and kept it returned the black one. Unfortunately these shoes bleed color. Bottom of my feet are all dyed after I wear these, and it's not easy to wash off the dye!! I hoped that they would stop bleeding color after wearing them a few times but no improvement. Style is nice but there is no support and the soles are extremely thin. feels like you are stepping on the ground bare feet. I wish I never wore them and just returned. It was a total waste of money!!

Surprised at how much larger these shoes were when I had ordered the exact shoe in the same size but different color that fit perfect.

I was really looking forward to getting these, but as one of the previous reviews mentioned, the opening at the ankle is too small. I could zip it with no problem, but it rubbed uncomfortably on the front of my ankle. I was trying to decide if they might loosen up but don't want to take the chance that they don't. The sole is cushioned and felt great everywhere else. Also, the color was not as shown. I got the rustic sand and it was very yellow. Not my favorite. :/ I wish they could have worked. I think they are very cute!

I love the look of these but the strap that goes around the ankle was unbearably tight on one shoe and rubbed around my ankle. The other shoe was fine. One shoe also looked "baggy" for lack of a better word on the top. I was so excited to get these because I had heard such great things but unfortunately they just didn't work for me and they will be going back.

My regular size is size 11 so ordered that size. The sandal was huge, the top section over the foot was two inches above my foot. It looked interesting online but is made cheaply, a Mexican sandal attempting to sell at Italian prices.
