I bought this cute little sandal in tan rustic. While it "felt true to size", I wear a size 11 and so wished it came in a 12 for my toes rest at the very tip of this shoe. I would recommend going up 1 size or a half if they have it in this shoe. The ankle is a snug fit as well, and I am hoping with more frequent wear that will stretch and allow for a little more space. So if you have or feel you have thicker ankles, like I do, this shoe will not be a good fit for you.

These shoes are adorable and so stylish. Like other reviewers mentioned they don't come in half sizes. I tried the 8 and they felt too snug so I went with the 9. I wish I'd stuck with the 8. I've worn them so I can't return them. I'm going to get another pair and will get the 8 this time.

Beautiful shoe, kind of artisanal/handmade vibe. Back is a bit stiff at first but I am sure it will soften with time. Wish they came in half sizes. The 9 was too short, and the 10 would be too long. Also wish there was a bit more of a heel. You are basically right on the ground. So that would make it more of an occasional shoe for me -- I am looking for a long-haul daily sandal.

Cute and comfy. Just wish they were available in half sizes.

I found the colors to be a bit deceiving online verses in person. They are lighter than they look on your computer. Fit is great. I wear 7 or 7.5 and the 7 fits perfectly. The strap around the ankle is a bit tight though which I'm sure won't be an issue once I wear them a few times. Most comfortable out of all the bed stus I've tried!

I own these in two colors and love how they look on my feet and their versatility as I wear them with casual and dressier outfits. I find they run true to size, but for whatever reason the leather at the ankles runs differently with each pair. I have found the leather stretches over time, so I only wear the shoes for a little while during break in period. The shoe does not have much padding or arch support. Overall, these are my go to summer shoes once they are broken in, but because of their lack of support, I just don't wear them when I know I'll be walking a lot.

Tried on this shoe and sadly the ankle is too tight. Attractive though!

Awesome sandals. Super soft and very comfortable. However, I didn't like the way they gapped from the top of my foot to the bottom of my heel. Otherwise, I would have kept them. I usually wear a size 8.5 and ordered 9. I feel an 8 would have been too small length wise. Disappointed that I have to return. Quick service as always from Zappos.

I love the look and feel of these shoes, but, I'm also a bit disappointed. The ordered them in the Sand Rustic color and in my usual size 6. These run at least a half size small and the color was much lighter than pictured. I ended up returning them and finding a used pair in a size 7 in a color not shown here and am reasonably happy with them. I really wish they came in half sizes, as that would certainly be a better fit and as others mentioned, the ankle openings are a bit tight, especially in proportion to the rest of the shoe fit. But, they are a really fun earthy style and the leather is really soft and good quality.

This sandals are really cute (in an ugly-cute kind of way). Initially, they weren't very comfortable because the snaps hit right at the ankle bone. However, I wore them around the house for an hour or two and now find them to be much more comfortable. I like that they're sandals but also make me feel like my foot is covered. I'm glad I kept them and wear them often.

Color is more yellow than tan. I have this shoe in another color and love it. Just not this color.

These are very cute but I am returning because they were rubbing up against my ankles.

I just received my shoes! Oh happy day! I tried these shoes on, I believe in a size smaller than I wear (the store did not have my size), and then I came home to find them here through. I wear an 11, and while I am keeping these beautiful shoes, I do wish they came in a 12; I would swap if they did. If I did not pass out at the sight of blood, I would probably lob off the tip of my toe(s) during my next pedi to give me a little more room. I need every teeny, tiny bit of this 11, and I am hoping that the ankle wrap part will give over time with wear. I mean a size 11 shoe does not necessarily mean thin ankles; at least not all of the time. I love the color, tan rustic, so versatile, and these shoes will be at my FL home, riding bicycles and such. I may just have to get a second pair for my other home.

The finish on this shoe ended up looking too dirty or worn. I love the idea of the shoe, but at this price I expected more in terms of "heft." I think the all leather sole would easily have worn out in a season.

I love the styling of these sandals, as they look great on and go with everything, including skirts and dresses. But even ordering up a half-size (to 9.5) didn't work for me: The sandal was just a bit too tight around the ankle and a bit too short on the footbed -- and Zappos seemed permanently out of the size 10s. So I opted to keep another pair of Bed Stu (the fabulous Claire sandal), where the 9.5 fit me beautifully. Strange, but that's how it goes sometimes. Bed Stu does make really high quality stuff.

These shoes are fantastic and worth every penny. I am a size 8 and they fit perfectly although because they are such good leather they definitely loosened up a little. They are very stylish and if I don't find a brown flat that I like sooner. I'm just going to get these I. BROWN. Second pair of Bedstu shoes I have purchased my new favorite brand, I see Bedstu boots in my future.

I had another pair of these that I loved and wore into the ground, but this pair pales in comparison. The leather is not nearly as nice and is a much lighter, blander color. I'm returning these and getting my old pair repaired.

Comfortable, but am returning as the soles are super slippery.

Sigh. I've had this sandal twice before in different colors and loooved it. This time, there's a jangly little tag attached to the back zipper that makes noise when you walk. (Not there on previous versions of the sandal.) That might not bug some people. I couldn't stand the constant noise as I walked. Without that, I would have kept the sandals. There's no arch support and yet they're insanely comfortable.

Is this really Bed Stu? This is my third pair of Bed Stu shoes, and this one is noticeably different. Maybe they've changed...The fit is looser, and the footbed has less padding than the previous two.

I wear a size 7. I ordered & they were so small that I couldn’t zip up the back. I have very narrow feet, so this was weird. I returned those & ordered a half size bigger. 7.5 are too big, but I can add some foot petals to make them fit better. The sizing for the soto is very strange.
