Uncomfortable

Although I like the fit and style of the shoe and received a fair price for them, there was one flaw that forced me return them. It seems Ascis was cheap on the materials inside the shoe. The material above the toes, inside the shoe, is some sort of plastic mesh. Every time you take a step in these shoes, your socks will rub against this plastic and make a sound like you're walking on wet sand. It's apparent and loud. My previous pairs of Asics do not do this.

After wearing for only a couple months I had to stop running in them because of extreme foot pain. Only when wearing these shoes. I’d wear my old ones and everything was just fine. Now I just use them for yard shoes. I run in my old worn out Newton’s. DISAPPOINTED

The padding wore thru way too quickly. less than 4 months later I am ordering new shoes.

The 4E size is very narrow and didn't fit. Length is good. Returned shoes.

I tried to make these work but they just didn't. Much smaller than the size indicated and not good for real trail running and hiking. The sole does not protect against terrain. All of that makes for extremely sore feet.

Not a good fit, toe box is too narrow, cur off on the big toe, cannot really wear it, had to be returned.

These are very cool "looking" shoes, but they do not hold up. Mine were about a week old when the stitching started coming out of them. Overall I would say that they are decently made, but they do not hold up well. Zappos was nice enough to send a replacement pair, I hope they hold up better!

First time I've strayed from New Balance and it's going to be the last. They aren't comfortable like the NB shoes and not nearly as durable. I bought these less than 5 months ago and the sole is coming apart on the left heel. I may wear these once or twice a week for casual around town use, so they don't get much action. I'd imagine if they're falling apart just with how I've worn them then they must spontaneously combust for regular use.

While these are great looking shoes they are not very comfortable. I wear a size 11 4E and these fit like a 10 EE. The arch support felt too high and they don't have much cushioning. I bought a pair of Under Armor UA zone shoes at the same time in the same size and they fit perfectly. They have much better cushioning and they are much lighter. Buy the UA zones for less money and a better fit.

I was hoping for an all purpose shoe I could use for both hiking and my morning commute through the city. This shoe does well on hiking trails but poorly on wet surfaces. The wet weather traction is very poor on stone / tile surfaces - this is a dealbreaker. I walk fast and push off of my toes - there is almost no traction there when it's wet. The bottom of the shoe is a little too hard for my liking - probably meant to withstand rocky terrain. It's very durable but I'd prefer something softer for better grip/comfort.

Took the shoe out on a run and ended up with blisters on both feet. Never had that happen. Wore them in and they've gotten a little better. Glad the price point was low enough it doesn't bother me.

I don't suggest anyone to buy this shoe.

Very uncomfortable from the start. I bought them based on reviews but I’ve hated them since day one. I even bought an expensive insole thinking that might help. There’s a reason their so cheap. Don’t believe the reviews. ASICS ain’t what they used to be.

Very happy with quality and style. Worn daily by a police officer on bike patrol, so they get plenty of wear and the shoes do not show it.

Most uncomfortable shoe I have ever had.

This is by far the worst running shoe I've ever bought. I never leave reviews, but I wanted to try to pass along my experience to help you. Standing (not even running) in these for more than 10 minutes became painful and I in no way have sensitive feet. The style was fine but nothing great, and I just couldn't get over the pain. I thought I just had to break them in, but after two months it was the same aching numbness and pain. Can't wait to get new shoes. Zappos was great though and refunded me for them, so kudos to this great shoe company.

Total garbage. I ordered these because I have really wide feet and these come in a 4E. These things were as tight as any normal width shoe I've tried on. Terrible in the arch and the toe box was completely constricting and uncomfortable.

I've had these for just over two weeks and the bottoms are already peeling off! I don't know if Zappos sold me counterfeit sneakers or not, but the quality of these is extremely poor. I've been wearing ASICS for over 20 years and I've never had a pair fail in two weeks. Aside from the pathetic quality, the styling, look, and fit is great.

The shoe lasted less than a month before the entire thing began to fall apart. While I know my child is hard on shoes this was ridiculous. Love ASICS but this shoe is a total waste of money and should be avoided at all costs.

It's a bit annoying that Ascis have an annoying reputation for running too small both in men's and women's shoes. In the case of this shoe, both length and width a problem and ordering up a size doesn't work either. We keep trying, but no luck. Thanks to Zappos for their fab customer service and return policy :)

Worse shoes I have ever had! I only went to the grocery store, and the bottom of my feet hurt so bad I almost cried! I'd have been better off going barefoot.

Just entirely too narrow.
