These are a decent lower level shoe. I wore the soles out before the uppers, but the stitching was beginning to fail. They run a little narrow and I'll probably order a wide next time. Good value for the money.

I'm blown away. I can't remember the last time I didn't have to put up with a day or two of discomfort before the shoe got "broken in." It wasn't until I hit the last hour of my shift today that I realized my feet felt fine (besides the usual soreness one feels at the end of the day). This is my first ever pair of Asics, and I think I'm in love. I only rated a 4 because I want to see how long they hold up. Besides the insoles and "bounciness" wearing out, the inside of the heel of my last two pairs of New Balance wore out within two/three months, and I had to start buying those heel strips to prevent blisters and holes in the skin. I can't afford to buy a new pair of shoes every couple months, so I'm really hoping that these will last at least six. (I work in the stockroom of a large store, and don't stop moving unless I'm on break). I followed the advice of other commenters and ordered a half size up, and they fit wonderfully. Keeping my fingers crossed. This was also my first time ordering from Zappos. I was very happy with the speedy delivery, and will definitely order from them again.

I love these shoes because they fit my super wide, Fred Flintstone-esque feet. I was professionally fitted at a fancy running shop and these are the shoes they helped me choose. I've stuck with them since then!

I have bunions so I need a wider than normal shoe. These are the best I have found. Would have given 5 stars on all the questions, but the shoe does require extra arch and sole padding. Inserts took care of that. I would buy these again.

Like the shoes but fit different than Propet or New Balance. Better price than N.B. The 2 pair I purchased fit significantly different than N.B. Smaller feel.

The shoes feel fine at first but after about a mile of running something in the arch lining rubs against the inside of my feet causing blisters. It's probably just my foot shape but makes these shoes hard to wear for long

Comfortable enough but after 3 months of wear I'm experiencing pain in my feet. The sole seems to have lost firmness. I do not run, only walk and occasionally hike. Nothing severe. I cannot recommend.

Comfortable, but not well constructed. Fell apart quickly. I have older shoes that I've worn to a much greater degree that are in much better shape.

Well, straight out the box, they felt a little narrow, but after walking around a little bit they felt fine. What they are missing is arch support. Compared to my old worn out Avia's, these things have no arch support. I wouldn't buy them again.

Normally I love Asics, but this is the second time I have bought the Venture 5 (mistake). Overall the shoe is great, however, with both pairs, the sole began to come unglued from the shoe within the first month. It does not come completely off, even after over a year, but when doing athletic activities the pieces that have come unglued sometimes roll up under your foot...not good.

These shoes were just purchased for normal wear around the house, yard and shop. Purchased these for my fiance for Christmas and within 5 months the sole has begun to come apart. He really likes the feel of the shoe but we are a bit dissatisfied with how long they lasted.

These run small (in my opinion). I also don't find them as comfortable as other Asics that I have bought in the past because the heel is too low. I'm returning them unworn; after just trying them on I know I'd need a larger size but they're not comfortable enough of me to want to exchange them. I'll choose something else.

Extremely narrow. Very pointy toe, not shaped to fit a human foot. Good looking with excellent color combination. Uses new low-durability foam rubber material in sole that seems to be becoming increasingly common in shoes. I like to call it the "designed to break-down and fail quickly to increase consumer demand frequency material".

Shoes are only 4 months old and coming apart. Husband is not hard on shoes! rubber is separating at the upper.

The style was great but the fit was off. A bit clunky with the feel.

Shoe fits a little small. I normally wear 9.5 in Asics, but in this one my toes hit the toe of the shoe uncomfortably.

Shoes don't feel wide. Feel bulky when you walk.

These shoes were almost perfect. I tried them on and they were a drop tight on top around 2 inches above my toes and thought that they would stretch out that little bit. Boy! Was I wrong! When I took them off after a few hours, my toes were numb & tingeling. I would say that these shoes are more realistically a 2E instead of 4E. Well, Shucks! Just a fraction of an inch more in the width would have made these a perfect fit.

I may try these again in the summer. I was looking for a shoe to wear casually with jeans, and these were just too boring. Much more boring in person than in the product photos. My wife said they look like snow boots. However, they are comfortable and fairly inexpensive. I could see these going well with khaki shorts and possibly pants.

Disappointed. This would have been probably my 5th pair of Asics. This shoe ran shorter in length than previous ones. Other than that, I have nothing to say as to quality. Instead, I bought Adidas and Inov. The latter has a particularly high toe box which I need.

I'm a big ASICS fan. I've been buying only ASICS for about 10 years now, through ZAPPOS, and have found them to be the best choice for me. I have been happy with every ASICS purchase until now. This particular model has very little cushioning. I noticed it as soon as I put them on but convinced myself they would get better. They didn't of course. It felt like I strapped a board to the bottom of my foot. I tried to save a little money by going for a less expensive shoe but as they say - you get what you pay for. I'll stay with ASICS but I'll stay away from their lower priced offerings.

First, I'm a nurse and Asics is one of the only brand of shoes I trust my feet with. These are not nearly as comfy as my Gel 190-TRs. They look good, offer more than most shoes, but less than other Asics.

While I like the shoes, I feel like the picture is misleading. The light grey almost white parts on the shoe are more a medium grey...I was kind of shocked and disappointed when opening the box. I thought they sent the wrong shoe but it is that same model. So if you are buying based on looks, know that the picture doesn't represent the actual shoe very well. Otherwise, they are comfortable and perform well.

This is my second try to get a shoe that fits. I have a wide foot. Ordered a Propet EEE. Too narrow. Didn't have in wider size so tried this shoe. labeled 4E and felt narrower than the Propet 3E
