I have bought this style for years. Since they are now under a new brand they are slowly taking away all the quality. I noticed with my last pair the bottom was changed to all rubber instead leather with rubber tread. On this pair it also has an all rubber bottom and the inside is now cheap vinyl feeling leather w/o any padding. The overall leather on the top is a stiff cheap as well. You can actually feel the cheap bottom though the shoe. It is so sad. The price is the same for a cheap shoe. I’m returning immediately. Consumer beware.

I'm 57. I'm overweight and have old lady foot issues - bad pinkie toes and heels that occasionally ache. I've been wearing these all day and my feet REALLY feel GREAT! Because the sandal is a lace-up, I adjusted the laces from toe to ankle to fit my foot - snug here, looser there. These look like fashion sandals, but they feel like old grandma comfort sandals that happen to make me look like a hipster - Woohooooo!

These are a slam dunk purchase. I am in my second second summer with them and the compliments have never stopped -- even from perfect strangers. Exceptionally comfortable, versatile and durable. I just purchased another pair so that when these do wear out, I won't have to go without them. I don't normally spend this much on sandals, but the quality and beauty make them worth every penny. I needed to size down a half size.

These sandals took me through a whole summer living in NYC walking everywhere, plus long vacations involving even more walking. They are incredibly comfortable, especially for a flat sandal! I added an arch support I got at the drug store and they were perfect. Yes, I balked at the price for just sandals but they ended up worth it. Perfect with jeans or skirts which not all sandals are. I'm in denial that they're worn out and even got leather paint to hopefully extend the life, but they're done. I really, really hope they get restocked in gold or silver in 8.5.

These are so comfortable and cute! Get tons of compliments whenever I wear them, including on a European vacation where I walked miles a day without pain! I’m between an 8-8.5 and chose the 8.5 and happy with the fit. These are versatile since they can look dressy with a long flowing maxi but go with skinny jeans or leggings as well

I have had these shoes for almost four years now and they are still holding up perfectly and are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes that I have ever worn. I have worn them around amusement parks for days, at music festivals, and traveling through other countries and never once did my feet hurt or blister. They are incredible. Also, every time I wear them I get so many compliments and everyone asks me where they're from! These really are the perfect sandal.

Issue was the back piece goes up very high and cut into my calf.. the shoe itself is great on the foot.. it’s this back piece that hurt.

Runs very big. I went down a half size. Very comfy otherwise.

Delicate gladiator shoe with comfortable footbed. Run long, so had to get a half-size down. Straps hide my bunions and wide size fits just fine.

I have a pair of these from quite a few years ago when they were Børn brand. No comparison as far as quality. They’re still cute. Leather is thinner and cheaper, padding not as good, way shorter laces, sole materials way thinner. No way should they be $160. I just got some on eBay for 1/4 that. Barely worth that except for style.

It was too big and clunky. Also the style made my feet look very big. I was very disappointed because this brand is usually very comfortable and stylish, but this wasn’t for me.

LOVE these sandals. Bought them for a wedding on a farm - trekked all over the property and these held up beautifully all night. No rubbing or blisters, even the first time wearing them! They don't stay tied sometimes (that's the issue with a leather tie, I think), but that's my only issue. These are hands down the most comfortable sandals I own! Now I'm looking for more Gentle Souls fall shoes to round out the year.

These sandals saved my feet in Italy! I wore them every day for 12 days and they did not disappoint as I walked the streets of Rome, Florence, and Venice. Most days I was on my feet 15 - 18 hours with no problems. Just try them. I'm ordering two more colors.

The soles are tan, which is great. Not that obvious online. The leather is soft and surprisingly more comfortable than I expected. Only negative was they run big. Had to exchange for a smaller size, which never happens.

These are so cute and comfortable. I love the look and the laces are adjustable to make them perfect. A lot of sandals that lace up are uncomfortable and dig in but I don’t find that the case with these

I ordered a size 10 and probably could have fir 9 1/2. These are very comfortable and look cute with shorts, dresses and jeans

These sandals fit perfectly, feel GREAT on my sensitive feet, and LOOK AMAZING :) This is my 2nd pair of Gentle Souls. Bought a pair of this brand's shoes about 6 years ago, I wear them sparingly, but still amazing that they look GREAT after 6 years. I hope this brand keeps their shoes high quality, comfortable and stylish.

I have very hard to fit feet (10+, wide, Fred Flintstone shaped). When I find the rare pair that is comfortable and stylish I live in them. These have been my go-to Spring-Summer-Fall shoes the past 2 years. I got these in Summer 2017, and I'm back for another pair. These were AMAZING straight out of the box; soft leather, flexible rubber sole. If I had had time, I might have tried a 9.5, because the 10 was a tad long. They arrived the day before I left for a week long cruise (hours of walking on board and in port everyday) and I lived in them all week without the slightest discomfort.They are understandably showing wear after 2 years, and I'm choosing another pair. They have been worth every penny. They do not have arch support, so that would be the only issue I could see holding someone back. I get compliments every time I have them on. FYI, I have generally avoided wearing them in wet weather, but they have been through a few puddles, and dried out fine.

I purchased the multi leather in my normal size and they fit perfectly. These sandals are super cute and the cushioned footbed is such a bonus. I usually don't wear flat dress sandals because they feel like walking on pavement but these are a major score. I am back on Zappos to purchase an additional pair in another color.

Absolutely, the best fitting and best looking sandal, right out of the box! Wore them all day on Day 1, and had no issues whatsoever. I was concerned they wouldn't stay tied, but they do. I was worried about rubbing, and there is none. I'm so glad I got this cute pair of shoes! Reasonably priced for the quality delivered. Highly recommended!

Can I just say I think I love these even more than my other pairs of Gentle Souls and that’s seriously saying something! They are gorgeous and just SO comfortable! I know some reviewers have said these run a little bit but mine fit perfectly just like all my other 9.5s. Get these if you can, you won’t regret it! The quality workmanship and style are proof that all women’s shoes are capable of being gorgeous and comfortable.

This is my 3rd pair of these sandals. I thought I would either love or hate the pattern - and it was love. They are really unusual looking with great colors. As for the sandals - this style is so durable, comfortable, and well-made that they are definitely worth the price. And they look great on your feet. I've had my oldest pair for about 4 years and they are still my go-to sandals for most things. Highly recommend.

Fit and size was good. Need to be careful about how you tie the laces as sometimes they can dig into your skin. Overall, the style is flattering and compliments many different outfits. Shoes are suprisingly comfortable too.

Perfect shoes for a junior bridesmaid. The laces can be adjusted quite a bit to fit narrower feet.

Love these. I have two pair. Though my usual size in most shoes is 8 1/2 (and the 8 1/2 I originally bought worked fine) I ordered a second pair in 8 (which looks better -- no extra-long sole). I kept both and wear them all summer long. They are fabulous with everything -- jeans, midi-skirts, capris. Love them. And luckily, they seem to come back each year. I got the neutral tan-taupe color (which has a deceptive name).
