Wow these are very comfortable. There is soft cushion under the foot and leather is soft. I’m so impressed! The brown has a gold metallic look, I LOVE them!

I had a pair back in 2010 that I wore to death & replaced with similar style from Stuart Weitzman. They were not a true replacement, these are far superior & an improvement on my original pair. I loved the leather outsole on the original pair, but that’s the part that wore out. Now these have a coated outsole which makes them more durable. They are a cute, sleek look, which can be comfortably worn on long walking adventures. Just double knot the laces. Run true to size, but I size up 1/2 to get more coverage at the front for under my toes

This is my third pair of Gentle Souls Break My Heart!! They are so cute with a soft foot bed for support. I have horrible feet and these shoes are so comfortable.

This is THE most comfortable flat sandal and it meets my need for having to wear 8-9 hours at a time on my feet at work. I normally wear a 9.5 so I ordered my normal size. It’s a tiny bit too long but not terrible. The width is perfect and since it laces up it is adjustable except at the portion near the toe where it is soon. I also ordered a size 9 in the gold. It’s so pretty and believe it or not the length is absolutely perfect and I think I’m going to keep them and try using a shoe tree to stretch it just a tad. It isn’t tight but I think just keeping it in a shoe tree while I’m not wearing it will enable it to fit my foot for my retail work day. I highly recommend this shoe/sandal it’s so so pretty! I didn’t think it would be nearly as soft and pliable because some of the gentle souls Tie up platforms aren’t. The leather tie is nice and soft and doesn’t dig into my ankles. Thank you gentle souls and please keep making pretty yet comfortable shoes! I wish fall and winter weren’t on their way because I wish I could wear this every day :-). Try marrying comfort to fashionable… It isn’t easy. This shoe does it though=Yay!

Based on reviews, I purchased 1/2 size smaller. I had to exchange for my regular size. I have a narrow foot and they are perfect exchanged fir my regular 7 1/2. They are super comfortable as other reviews stated.

These are super comfy and soft, the footbed forms to your foot. They are lightweight. Seem to be well made. Definitely more of a metallic/gold tone than a brown(I purchased brown expecting there would be gold highlights) however I still like the look of them and will be keeping them. They are true to size. Ordered 8.5 and as expected there’s a bit of room to spare to avoid toe spillage at the front.

I just ordered my FOURTH pair of these sandals! Seriously the most comfortable sandals. (i also like Yellowbox). I get compliments from everyone, and asked where I got them, how much, etc. I have no foot problems and kind of a narrow foot. The way they lace up makes them totally adjustable to your foot, although the part down around the toes is Not adjustable. I'm normally an 8 or 8 1/2, and I get 8s in this sandal. The leather is extremely soft and they take 1 minute to break in. I hate heals, so this is a perfect option to go with everything. The one and Only drawback is you have to un-tie, tie, un-tie, etc when trying on cloths, but I can definitely live with that! Zappos, I ? you! Thx for all the free shipping and perfecto service!! Plz keep this sandal in stock and would luv to see a coniac color. Oh, and the names of the colors are kind if goofy, for example the "charcoal" is DEFINITELY a taupe beige. Its beautiful. I also got black, red, and navy. Kind of expensive, but I will wear them all out, so cost per wearing will be low. I hope you love them as much as I do!!!

I have been waiting on a black version of these, and I am glad I waited. They are comfortable and light. I thought the fit was great, and they go with anything.

As others have said, they aren’t charcoal but tan. So don’t let color label throw you. I haven’t worn yet but find them exceedingly comfortable around the house and they are stylish too. Comfort and style words don’t often go together. They will look good with skirts and slacks.

I've had many (10?) pairs of this sandal over the years. It is my go-to summer shoe: flattering (especially in the lighter colors) and VERY versatile. I LOVE this new multi-colored leather-- it has a fun, slightly funky (street art) vibe. I'm thrilled I gave it a go.
