Such a CUTE shoe for comfort; cushy with a bit of flex in sole however the diagonal strap on top of the foot sits very high up & looks “off”. The navy was a an odd combination of blues in the woven straps, the black was a very nice rich color. I’m recovering from 2 foot fusion surgeries within 9 months & having a heck of a time finding a comfortable yet supportive ‘feminine’ sandal to give my Hokas a break. Yet these weren’t quite comfortable enough ‘post op.’ I’m SO grateful for Zappos for the ability to test drive so many options along with their great shipping & return policy as I’m not able to physically endure going out & shopping for shoes. The search continues!

The fit is true to size. I was not a fan of the velcro closure on the ankle and across the foot. I thought they were buckles. They are fine but I don't feel the quality is worth the price.

The shoe was so wide for my foot that I could barely keep it on

My size 7.5 feet are on the narrow side. The adjustable velcro straps kind of stick out on the end, vs affix well with the velcro. Also, the 'gunmetal' color, which I expected to be more of a taupe, looked more like a darker brown. Liked the Aetrex arch support, but for the price, the look and feel needed to be closer to perfect for me.

Strap hits my bunion

Wear this style always but the back strap on this pair were cutting into the back of my foot. Also the material used for the foot bed is not the quality I normally get with this sandal. Right out of the box the foot bed looked nubby. This has never happened to the ones I’ve owned for 2 years. Unfortunately, this pair is defective.

I like this brand and style however the foot beds were nubby as if they’ve been worn a while. Shoes came in a plain brown box not in the original shoebox they normally would come in.

This is one of my favorite brands and styles however one shoe was defective so it wasn’t very comfortable.

Fit is great and shoe is so comfortable -- it matches my footshape really well and super-adjustable. I found the Jillian's split strap across top of foot more flattering than their Gabby single strap, but the footbed equally comfortable. That said, I wish Aetrex wouldn't add 'shimmer' to so many sandals and shoes. To me it cheapens the look and to me seems weird the casual daytime wear that the shoe itself is suited for. I finally kept the navy color of this shoe b/c I need a sandal I can walk in and that was the least shimmery/metallic'y. So the 'look' of the leather, fancified braiding + button are not my preferred style. But the shoe is so comfortable and supportive in the arch for my flat feet and occasional plantar fascitis, I'm keeping the navy. If Aetrex ever skips the metallic shimmer and adds to their line a fisherman or covered-toe style of sandal (I'm clumsy ;-), I'd be thrilled.

These shoes are very attractive and have a comfortable footbed, but unfortunately the strap over the toes bothered my bunion area even after adjusting, and the straps around the ankle I found very uncomfortable. I have had multiple foot and ankle surgeries so my feet are very sensitive and hard to please!

I was hoping these would fit because it looked like nice arch support. However, these are very wide and the adjustable velcro does not allow the amount of narrowness I would need. Avoid these if you have a narrow foot.

These sandals fit well, and I liked the arch support. Loved the look. They felt comfortable to stand in, but the braided straps rubbed when I walked, and the placement of the strap across the toe didn't work for me. If it was a pair of shoes I was going to only wear occasionally and not expect to spend hours at a time walking in, they would be fine. But then I wouldn't spend so much on them. I think the Jillian Sport might be great, but I don't need any sandals of the type right now.

Everything fir great except for the strap around the ankle. It was still loose after tightening it as much as possible.

I didn't like the braided part of the shoe. It was uncomfortable on the top of my foot. I'm returning the shoe. It's too bad because the foot bed is very comfortable.

I thought these were cute, and I was hoping that these would work for me, because the foot beds were comfortable the minute I tried them on. But, there wasn't enough support around my foot (I need to have sturdiness around my foot and ankle). Plus, I didn't realize that ALL the traps were velcro, and I was concerned that the velcro would wear out with time (like velcro can do), and I wouldn't want the sandal to be useless. I'm thankful to Zappos, that I'm able to return these for a refund, plus free shipping!

I wanted so much for these sandals to fit but they were just too wide for my narrow feet. They are exactly what I wanted for an upcoming trip to Europe - comfortable, lightweight, dark blue, and reasonably attractive. Unfortunately, even with the adjustable strap, the top strap was too big and did not line up properly with the strap to which it attaches. I so miss the option of narrow shoes and sandals… It’s bad enough I wear a 10 1/2! I’m so tired of wearing shoes that don’t really fit. (Sorry about the rant!) Bottom line - I would definitely recommend them if they fit you properly.

it was advertised as arch support. it was not.

I had high hopes for these but had to send them back as they didn't look good on my small feet. While the width provided plenty of toe room, it made the shoes look board-like. And the straps were so broad and plentiful that they made the sandals look clunky. Also (and this could simply be due to how my feet are structured), the arches didn't line up with the arches in my feet which means the support was not where I needed it. Guess I'll have to keep looking.

I am a size 8 and the 8.5 were too short. I have a narrow foot so these shoes were too wide for me. I was also disappointed that the straps didn't hide my bunion. The cushiony support was great. Keep in mind that these cork bottomed sandals will get ruined at the beach. Sand will ruin them.

I liked the teal color of the Aetrex Jillian Quarte Strap. The strap across from my ankle fit too high for me and was uncomfortable.

Arch seemed to be set too far back

The arch support in these sandals did not work for me. The arch seemed too high and hit me in the wrong place. I also didn't really like how they looked on,~seemed kind of old lady like ! They also are very expensive, so back they go since I didn't love them. I have had several pair of Aetrex shoes that have fit very well, but unfortunately not these.

I wanted a leather sandal and the Rose color is a fabric. They fit well, but after recently breaking my foot I feel more secure in a leather sandal.

I thought the leather looked cheap and the overall appearance less fashionable than I like. Thought it would be more boho than old lady but it wasn’t. Fit and comfort were all as described by others...very good.

Wrong shape for me. Buckle near toes dug into my foot. Returned.
