Didn't even try them on...I have been a Zappos Customer for MANY years and am so DISAPPOINTED with this purchase! As soon as I opened the box and saw the condition of the Birkenstock box I knew this was NOT going to be good! I was right...upon opening that box the wrapping appeared old...wrinkled ...there was no package secure filling and when I took them out each one had the "oiled" imprints of someone toes!!!!!! OMG!!!! Zappos! I have NEVER received such poor service from you! Submitted the return and now I have to go out of my way to go to a UPS Store to return....this time it is an inconvenience!!!! What the heck! Birkenstocks are a shoe that I can comfortably wear and spending the monies is well worth it due to the problems I have....so deciding whether I am doing Zappos again will be because I am pouting!

I ordered 2 pairs of Birkenstock Arizonas with the soft footbed. The silver and the metallic anthracite. I am a size 8.5 normal width shoe normally so I ordered one pair in a 38 and one in a 39, both in the narrow. I am glad I ordered the narrow as they do run wide and I think the normal would have been too loose. I think I will keep the 38 (silver) as they are a little more comfortable than the 39 (anthracite). I also like the silver a little more in person. The only reason I bought these is I have a bunion on my right foot (hereditary issue for females in my family) that I am very self conscious about. The strap on these hides it perfectly yet they are still comfy. I also think the silver makes them a little more feminine and trendy. Also, Zappos literally has the BEST customer service of any online retailer ever! I attached a pic because sometimes it's hard to see the actual color from the stock photo. Ignore the orangey thing on the buckle - must have been a reflection from the flash.

I’ve had my first pair of Birkenstocks for less than 3 months. After the breaking in., Which I was prepared for, they are very comfortable and have excellent support. However, my shoes are falling apart, and I haven’t even worn them for three months. They are coming apart on the sides, and the cork is splitting. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the shoes, especially considering the cost.

As always Zappos is amazing! Couldn’t be happier with the customer service! I originally orders the regular width. Turned out they were a little too wide. I quick Chatted with a rep and she had a narrow pair at my front door the next morning! Tried them on and instantly realized the narrow pair was perfect. I was never a big birkenstock fan. I am now. These are very comfortable, fit like a glove! I also purchased the soft footbed! And they are very comfy. I would definitely recommend these! :) once again thank you Zappos for your greatness! You guys rock!!!!

I have already tried Birkenstock’s on in stores so I knew I wore a 40. I am a true 9.5 so I’d recommend trying on or ordering one size down from the recommend if between sizes. I was worried they’d make my feet look bigger but they don’t at all. So comfortable!

These fit my feet better than I thought they would and are actually way more comfortable than I had even hoped. The soft footbed is a real improvement over the original. My plantar fascisiitis disappears when I wear these shoes!

I have six styles of Birkenstocks and my most comfortable pair are the Arizona Soft footbed Birko-Flor sandals. The soft footbed has the same great arch support of other Birkenstocks plus an added layer of foam for comfort and for a slightly snugger fit. The Birki-Flor is a soft, smooth fake leather that feels great on Day One and cleans easily with a damp cloth. Most men get the regular width and most women get the narrow width. Because the soft footbed feels a bit snugger, some women who buy the narrow width in traditional Birks might prefer regular width with the soft footbed. The majority of people I see wearing Birks are wearing a size that is too short...their big toe is touching the cork lip in front and their heel is touching the cork lip in back. Buy a size that provides 1/4th inch of open space in front and 1/4th inch in back. If you are new to Birks, wear them two hours a day for a couple weeks until your feet adjust to the high arch support. Then try four hours a day, then six hours a day until your feet are fully adjusted. I wear Birks 16 hours a day five or six days a week and use Birks footbeds in my Born shoes on the other days. At age 70, my feet, ankles, knees, hips and back feel about 20 years younger.

i originally ordered these birks in a 39 narrow, since i'm an 8-8.5 in womens shoes/boots...the 39 was huge on my foot. i returned and re-orderd one size down to the 38 and they fit perfectly...i'm highly recommending ordering one size smaller that you would normally wear for these...they are so comfy as soon as you put your feet in...(please see photo, with the paws that refreshes...for wyatt and me!!!)

I love it! I got the 39 Blue Birko SFB and I assume the SFB made all the difference in comfort. The arch area does hurt but based on past experience with a similar insole, I know that my foot will conform to this area. The birko is easier to clean than suede. I prefer the two strap to the one strap I've had before as this doesn't tire out my foot like it does with one straps or thong sandals when walking long periods.

Perfect Fit!!!! This is a follow up to my review from two days ago. Mission accomplished and I’m thrilled!!! I am a size9 and the 39 is a perfect fit. The narrow width should have a different name- like sleek or stealth - because it’s the profile and not really the width. They are not too tight across my arch and I still have three holes in which to tighten. I do not feel as though I’m going to walk out of them which happens to me with a lot of sandals. The soft sole seems much more flexible than the regular sole - not necessarily cushier. Hope this helps you with your decision. Loved them so much I ordered a pair of Birkenstocks for my husband!

Very comfortable. The shoe has the expected Birkenstock comfort, but does make an embarrassing farting sound.

May feel wider due to the straps but foot bed wise; they’re perfect! I’m obsessed and the straps are adjustable if you want to throw a pair of thick socks on, too!!

It's a little tricky to figure out the sizing with birkenstocks. As others have mentioned, for regular width women's feet the narrow fits perfectly. I dont have skinny feet or wide feet. I have a pair or mayari's and for that pair i chose size 38, regular width. They fit a little snug lengthwise but comfortable. For this style i ordered 38's but they definitely didn't fit. I returned them and got 39's. They fit much better than the mayaris. The soft bed requires absolutely no break-in period

Purchased this pair to replace another silver Birkenstock sandal that was well worn. I have a number of Birkenstock sandals and obviously LOVE them. Very sturdy and comfortable. I have several colors and styles that I live in several months of the year.

I have high arches and appreciate the level of support i receive from these shoes. Theyve been comfortable to wear around the house and for walking. Ive had them for a week and have only had good experiences with them so far

Love these shoes! the reviews are pretty accurate. I was deciding between these and the graphite version, and these won hands down. The metallic isn't too shiny and the leather is VERY soft! Also i haven't owned a pair of Birks in over 20 years and 100% recommend the air soft bed, makes the shoes so comfy. The only part i'm not happy about is how they are creasing on the sides, they bow out a bit here when i flex my foot, which i believe is because my foot gets very wide here. I opted for the narrow width because the back of my foot near my heal is narrow but widens out a lot near my toes. Still very comfortable and the shoes don't flap about. Really loves these shoes and get compliments all the time. The metallic take these to more fashionable shoes. Highly reccomend!

Love my birks so much that I bought my sister a pair and my daughter also. Super comfortable. My only complaint is I’ve had my pair less than a year and the cork footbed has a crack in it now. I’ve owned a pair before and they lasted a long time. Still love them though

This Birkenstock sandal is not the same as a Ladies Birkenstock. This is a unisex, men’s and woman’s sandal and it runs a full size larger and is much much wider. I’m always a 41 reg but not with this sandal. I’m returning this pair and going to order size 40 narrow and see if this fits properly. I hope it fits because I love the navy and want to try the soft footbed. The color is beautiful but I do wish the black buckle was either navy or burnished silver. Birkenstock’s are the only sandals I wear, excellent arch support and comfort all day and long!

Love the silver! It’s fun, looks great with shorts, skinny jeans, leggings and casual skirts!

I went with the narrow width and so glad that I did. This will be my first pair that does not continuously slide off.

I have worn birks as my main summer sandal for the past 16 years and they are the absolute best for comfort. Each pair generally lasts about 3-5 years for me, but I am rough on them and drag my heels which wears off the back of the sole. This is the first pair that I’ve bought in the narrow width and they fit me MUCH better! I highly recommend these for anyone who is looking for a long-lasting sandal that you can wear all day and keep your feet happy!

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas because she only likes to wear Zappos. When she received them she texted a picture of her wearing them! She was really excited & happy! Great buy!

I wear a 9.5 narrow. The Arizona is the only style in Birks that I have found that fit well. I have worn the suede ones forever. I like the leather because it’s a little nicer looking. I bought a 40 narrow, which is my normal size. These ran a hair smaller than my suede pair. They fit well but if you are in-between sizes, sizing up may be a good plan. I’m a big fan of Birks.

Received these as a Christmas presents two years ago and were them out! Just bought a second pair!!
