The material was great, looks like leather but doesn't stretch like leather. The only problem I had was that the straps were too long. I had to go to the last hole the first time I wore them. I wish the straps were a bit shorter and there were a few more holes.

It helped to have both a 38 and 39 to really know the right fit. Regular is a comfortable plus for my semi wide feet.

Ordered one size up and narrow for my 12 year old. It took awhile to get sizing right for her smaller feet. She is normally a small size 6 but we went with size 37 narrow. Love these shoes!

I’ve been told for years to buy a pair of Birkenstock’s, however I just could not get past the look of them. Well I finally order them, and now I’m so mad at myself for not trying them years ago!!! They are sooooo comfortable right out of the box that I can’t even imagine what they are going to feel like when they mold to my feet!! Zappos you are amazing your process is so easy and shipping is the best!

Since Birkenstock’s run large I order smaller and in narrow. These fit perfect. I got the silver, really cool.

This is my 8th pair of Birkenstocks (spanning 30 years) so I am lucky in that I know my size and can always be sure the fit will be good. I decided to get a pair of the old standard Arizona style to bring on an upcoming trip to Morocco. I know they'll be comfortable for lots of walking, and I wanted a style that I could wear with socks if need be. If you've never had Birkenstocks, do yourself a favor and try some!

Love these sandals. This is my very first pair of Birkenstocks!!! Ordered the silver ones in a size 38 with the narrow foot bed. I normally wear an 8 narrow. I haven't taken them off since I got them!!!

I am a consistent size 8.5 medium width (would size up to a 9 versus sizing down to an 8 if needed). I ordered a 38 and 39 narrow. I felt the 39 was a better fit as I don't like my toe or heal touching the end. I felt the narrow was a tiny bit too narrow for the outer ball of my foot (my toes are more pointed than straight across). I ordered a 39 regular width (not available on this site) and even though they measured exactly the same width on the sole, I felt there was just a very minimal difference either in width or footbed as the outside of my foot does not feel the pressure as it did in the narrow. I hope this helps.

If you’re on the fence about splurging on the soft footbed...JUST DO IT. It makes all of the difference

Sadly there was a flaw on the inside of the right sandal which would have left a blister on my husband's feet. We've sent the back to exchange for another pair, hoping that will solve the problem. At over $100 for sandals that aren't leather, inside should not have a flaw of this magnitude.

This was disgusting. The shoes arrived, not in a Birkenstock box, but in a generic box. When I opened the shoe box, the shoes had already been worn! Enough that there was a toe print on the sole of the shoe. I will NEVER order from Amazon/Zappos again. This is the SECOND time this has happened to me with Birkenstocks.

How have I gone my whole life without a pair Birks? Best purchase of Summer 21’.

I’m finally glad I got the blue pair. Have a lot of blue in clothes & wa wearing black Birkenstock’s. Now I’ve got a color to match better. Vet comfortable. Love them!!!

really wanted to keep these but they hurt my arthritis in big toes. Footbed very comfortable and good support

These fit far more comfortable that my other style Birks. I now want one in several colors! I have a medium width foot, yet find the regular Birks fit far better than the narrow width I thought I should wear.

I’m usually a size 6 and so I ordered the 6/6.5 but it just seemed a tad large. I ordered the 5/5.5 just to see if it fit better and they are perfect!

These are my go to everyday in house sandals. Great support. I don’t wear them out, but they are on my feet all day long at home. Love my Birkenstock’s!

I love these! These Birks are comfy out of the box, thank you soft footbed. If in doubt about buying Birkenstock’s because the footbed of regular Birks, do your self a super favor and purchase these!

I have plantar fasciitis so decided to give these a try and I love them. I’m normally a size 8 and after reading reviews decided to get the narrow and size down. Well a size 38 narrow was too small so I sent back for 39 narrow and they are perfect. Worth the money. Got the silver ones and love them.

these start coming undone within a week

I’m normally an 8.5 or 9 and I always wear a 38 with my birks. They don’t give me extra room behind my heal but they’ve always been just right for me.

I knew that Birkenstocks run a little big so I ordered a size down. I normally wear a size 8 and chose the 7-7.5 size and they fit perfectly.

Everything is good but the color is strange. The Birks are on the left, next to my Nine West silver clones. They’re not silver, so I’m not sure if I was sent the wrong color or if this is your “silver.”
