I bought these for husband because he feels straight jeans are too tight around his thighs and relaxed fit jeans just look horrible. This athletic fit jeans fits well without being too tight or too relaxed. He really likes them. The denim is thinner compared to a pair of 501's that he owns, but he doesn't seem to mind too much.

I purchased these boots to be worn on a daily basis through the winter months. I needed boots that were warm, dry, easy to put on/take off, and would last me through the Chicago winters. As I am more than half way through my second Chicago winter with them, I am very happy with these boots. How I use them: - I have a 12 block walking commute to my office each way, which is a good 30 minutes at a time being outdoors in these boots. - the boots are comfortable enough that I don't feel the need to switch them out for other shoes at the office. - after work I tend to walk around for about an hour either running errands or trying to rake up fitbit steps, boots hold up nicely in both the warmth and comfort departments. Things to note: - the side zipper makes them easy to slide on and off, but the shaft of the boot is pretty stiff and you will need to pull your socks over the bottom of your pants in order to get them on (I had some north face boots a few years back that were easy to slide on over pants that were cuffed without pulling socks over them, but that is not the case with these boots) - they fit true to size but if you wear thicker socks in the winter, you may want to size up a half size. however... - they are very warm and often I find my feet sweating in them. I've taken to wearing much thinner socks when wearing these boots then what I would usually wear in the winter. - the metal parts have oxidized a bit. - the fake fur lining on the top has rubbed off in a bunch of spots. I'm personally ok with this as I prefer the obviously fake plush fur on these boots then some other winter boots that have more realistic, bushy fake fur on top. your mileage may vary.

My son plays football and works out in the off season. He's got thick muscular thighs but a narrow waist. We are very pleased to find the 541's. We've now bought three pair. Trinity, The Rich and Midnight. He likes all three, but oddly they all fit just a little bit differently. Trinity, his first pair, fits very nicely, but is pretty non stretchy in the seat area. Not uncomfortable, but a huge improvement over other pants he's worn. Midnight, is perfect. They fit extremely well and seem to run a tiny bit larger than the others. The Rich is the only pair that he's a little iffy on. This jean runs smaller than all of the others, but the material is of lighter weight and very stretchy. He's a little freaked out by the stretchy jean. He's not taking any tags off that one, it might come back. There is nothing wrong with the pants, but he might prefer another pair of Midnight instead. So these are great jeans, but at least 3 different kinds have 3 noticeably different fits. Luckily, two out of three fit well. The rich fits too, but it is definitely a tighter looking jean. How anyone likes it will be up to them, a very personal choice. I will say that as a mom, I think the stretchy jean is fine. It's smaller than the others, but it's not indecent and frankly the mom in me knows he will appreciate the comfort in the long run. Great jeans 541 highly recommend!

Excellent fit on waist line and look really good. They really comfy and would recommend these jeans to my friends.

These jeans are a perfect fit, they replaced relaxed fit jeans from Gap (which have been discontinued). Great fitting jeans.

I wear this product to work and going out to social events.

They finally figured it out! The fit is perfect. The washes are also very nice, I have yet to see how they wear over time but so far they have been great and for a great price.

I ordered two pair of the same size. One light color and one dark. The light color was with a very nice fit and with a stretch in the waist. The dark pair actually shrunk after washing. They shrunk so much that my son could not wear them. The dark pair also certainly does not have the same cut. I get tired of having to send things back. So I gave the dark pair away. Different colors, different cut and fit.

Difficult to find jeans that fit me with a long enough inseam (36). Jeans fit okay, not as good as they did when I tried on a pair at the store. A little stiff and tight in the thighs. Hope they get more comfortable after wearing a few times.

These are the best fitting Levi's I have ever tried. They aren't perfect, but they are close. The waist is a bit loose, and I feel that the leg taper could be a little tighter too. Otherwise, I would have given five stars.

My new favorite Levi's. They call it athletic. Not sure about that but it is generous in size, waist not low and a little tapered legs. I also use 508s. Legs could be just a little skinnier. the black version is too big and feels awful. I can not recommend the black. Most blue ones are boring colors.

I usually hate buying a new pair of jeans because of my waist size the legs of jeans always end up looking like I am wearing bell bottoms. When I tried on these jeans on just one leg I already knew these were gonna be awesome. Being able to wear these jeans over and over again. I must admit they are better than any other jeans out there. I only have one slightly small gripe and that it is a little snug in one particular area but other than that AWESOME!!! Now if only they were a bit more affordable.

I had purchased a pair of these at a retail store but they were "Blue Canyon." I wanted a solid darker version so I ordered "The Rich" online since I couldn't find them in any stores. In general I am happy with the product but there are some subtle differences. Even though they are both 541 jeans the material and fit is different. Blue Canyon is Stretch heavyweight denim (12 oz.) while The Rich is stretch midweight denim (10 oz.). I like the fit of the Blue Canyon better. I thought they would be the same but The Rich color jeans are tighter and have a different fit. All-in-all I like them. Perhaps the next pair will have the fit that I liked in my original pair.

I am digging these jeans. As someone who is a tad out of shape, these are a great option as well. I do wish they sat on the hips, instead of above. hat said, they look and feel good. Really like the size of the leg openings. Will be getting another color for sure.

I generally have to wear a 33 in other jeans and the waist ends up loose and the rest pretty uncomfortable. I ordered the 32's in the Midnight(which is the 2% elastane) and they fit great! I ordered a 32 in the Blue Canyon and they don't fit - seeming slightly shorter and definitely tighter. I'm not sure if it is just the different material and they would loosen up over time or if the cut for one of them was just off. Definitely worth a shot if other jeans don't fit you well, try more than one color.

The back pockets seemed huge and hung way down my husband's thigh's from the front these pants looked normal. I returned, pants are hard to picture without trying on.

Have bought 33/30 541s for years. These are too big. I'm not getting smaller. Buy a size smaller in waist IMO.
