Good pants

I love Levi's and always happy to by a new pair!

Thought the waist was too big. I normally wear a 44, but bought a 42 and they seemed big, because they are. Comfortable just have to wear a belt.

Very comfortable without looking sloppy. Better looking than some of the relaxed fit styles.

Nice fabric and allusion to blue jeans, yet more sophisticated. I can wear them to places I wouldn't normally wear jeans. Downside is they feel a little short in the waist at the back. Like the waist needs to be a little higher in the back.

Very comfortable. As per the description, they do have some give/flex to them, by maintain that jean rigidness. Sizing is consistent with Levis products.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my husband. We have spent years trying to find acceptable jeans for him and his 'hockey body' (thick legs and hip area). 'Skinny' or 'slim fit' never work, but the alternatives (classic fit or boot cut) look frumpy and unpolished. The Levi's 541 are perfect for him. They fit his midsection/leg area and taper to a more slim leg. They look professional enough to wear to work and he says they're very comfortable. He ordered his normal size in the 'Ship Yard' but they stretched out quite a bit and had to exchange for a size down. Careful with the stretch content when ordering.

Love these jeans. Wear them when I go out. They got great and are durable.

One problem with this jean and chino pant of the same style 541. I ordered four diferant colors and each pair of pants were diferant sizes. Levi needs cut the frantic the same each time.

Love the 541. Little bit roomier, but still has a subtle tapered look. And with a bit of stretch... Very comfortable.

These are the most comfortable jeans I own. They tend to lose their shape a bit if you wear them a second day. Definitely need to wash the darker wash before wearing them.

I love these jeans. I like how they stretch a small amount in the waist but are tapered down the leg so it isn't too baggy. They do wrinkle very easily though. Overall though - I would reccommend trying them out.

Pants are super comfortable, I like pants that taper towards the bottom to where there aren't baggy on calfs and ankles

Too large in the waist by at least 2-3 inches. Overall the quality is typical Levi, but the sizing is vanity--I think I can wear a pair of these in a size 4 inches smaller than these. Waaaaaaay too big. Also the width of the legs was not as trim as I was hoping they would be. They were more like a straight leg with no taper. Thank you for free returns Zappos!

Great pants, just to long and had to pay to get them fixed.

pricey compared to the same brand in other places

At my size, I thought these jeans would look ridiculous with suspenders, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they look and how comfortable they are. The only problem I foresee is that the pockets seem to be made out of a material that's too lightweight for jeans. A heavier material would help. And the tapered leg makes for a flattering appearance.

SALES MAN UNDERSTOOD THAT ONCE THE JEANS WERE WORN HIGH, THEN NO PROBLEM. WORN LOW, THEY DRAG ON THE GROUND.
