I ordered the exact same style and size of these sandals that I have before. These now suck. I guess they cheaper out like every other industry. The fibers are splitting. The shoes squeak when you walk. One shoe is smaller than the other (no, it’s not my feet). The toe piece rubs. The imprint of the company name on the sole is hard and rubs the bottom of your foot. I wore them out of the box assuming they’d be the same as the last pair but they’re awful. I hope Zappos lets me return.

The sandals were way too big.

I ordered these because they have been my go-to sandal for years. But they are simply too wide and could promote a fall with an ankle turn. Sending them back. :(

The fit and size was good but the toe post is way to short and spreads out and hurts.

Piece of crap! Wore it ONCE and noticed the strap was ripped off. I don't even remember any stress on the slippers that would cause this to even happen.

I bought 8 pairs of flip flops seeking decent arch support. These have none. Soft footbed, but without any arch support. The elevated heel felt like something I would have difficulty getting used to. Not something I could ever wear on the boat because of how unstable I felt in these.

I do not like these. I did a fair amount of considering before settling on the FitFlop brand; the brand certainly has a devoted following. I usually wear a 9.5 and it was suggested I order a 9, which I feel was about right. A longtime wearer suggested I "ease" into them because they change the way you use your leg muscles. I'm 50 and reasonably fit, but I took the advice. And now I'd like to ease them right into the rubbish bin. Here is what I found after wearing them for about two weeks, specifically after wearing them two days in a row for four hours: my metatarsalgia is in full bloom, my feet ache all over, my shins feel like they are bruised, my knees hurt, my hips hurt, and my hamstrings feel like they've been shrunk in the dryer. The shoes made my feet feel hot and itchy, and the cotton webbing strap pressed down when I walked leaving a big indent in a very odd place on the top of my foot. The first day I thought maybe I was just having an arthritic day; the second day I pointed the blame at the shoes. After a few days in better shoes, my lower extremities have somewhat forgiven me. And they aren't even attractive. They look like ugly man shoes, very blocky. Very much regret my purchase, wish there was an "undo" button.

Very pretty but doesn’t stay on your foot when you walk. Too expensive to use as pool shoes, and no good for anything else.

The description for this sandal: "Fitflop Surfa and sandy beaches are a match made in heaven". But watch out because the footbed is Very Slippery when feet are wet. I guess Fitflop doesn't equate sandy beaches and water as I did. Threw them out.

These shoes are nice and comfortable but the bottoms of the shoes are like magnets and pick up everything and stuff sticks to the bottom. Please return to the original bottoms. I can't even wear these to work because hair sticks to them in globs.

These were a big disappointment as they are very cute. They are actually quite slippery as there are felt-like treads on the bottom. They also fit very tight across the top of my foot.

I was excited to get a pair of flips flops that were supposedly supportive. They're awful and feel like cheap little bricks of styrofoam. I can't return these fast enough.

I have to say I'm a FitFlop fanatic. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever found. This pair is no different in that regard. They felt so good immediately when I put them on; the fabric toe strap was comfortable from the get-go. However, the sole of the shoe has an inset piece of a fuzzy material, almost felt-like. They are very slippery on smooth surfaces, so much so that I won't wear them out and about. To see what the sole looks like, zoom in on the picture of the bottom of the shoe, you'll see a small 1/4" border of the "regular" rubbery sole, and the rest is the other material. As cute as they are, I wouldn't recommend this particular FitFlop.

This shoe is going back. It is nothing like the original fit flop and the bottoms are dangerous! They appear to be felt. Cute shoe but not worth the chance of a bad fall.

The fit of these sandals is nothing like the original/old one. The straps are way too loose! I could barely keep them on my feet. I like a snug fit so I was very disappointed. They are going back.
