These shoes are going to kill me! If it is slightly wet, these shoes have no grip or tread at all, truly dangerous.It's a drag because the strap is comfortable, the arch support is okay, better than some... but these are my "house shoes" only. I think they are pricey for house shoes and average support.

I expected more for $60, these felt like ordinary flip flops, very stiff material, and not the promised arch support or look.

thought the fit was good and the arch support was good the heavy leather that makes up the thongs portion of the sandal i found to be very uncomfortable and it dug into the top of my foot.

This shoe was stiff and felt like I was walking on a wooden block. No support. Fit Flop disappoints me once again.

Felt true to size and width. Issue is with the foot bed. It is incredibly hard with no flexibility. I was also surprised by the weight of the FitFlop. Item was returned.

The fit is accurate, only whole sizes. While I'm a 7.5 in FitFlop I order size 7. The model shoe I'm looking to return. The strap is made of fabric. It scratches/irritates the skin on the top of my foot. The skin gets raw after a short wear and walk time.

I was not happy with the arch as I felt there was not arch support at all and it was super hard. I have been wearing Clark sandals and was hoping this style would be similar. I will try another style in the FitFlop for sure. This one just was not for me.

I've bought many pairs of fitflops over the years, and this is the first time I've been disappointed. The quality of this sandal is not the same as the others, and the sole of the shoe feels slippery on many surfaces. I value good support but did not experience it with this one.

I LOVE my old FitFlops, which I wear constantly in the house, all year long, but especially in warm weather. They might last forever, but they are looking a little bit raggedy around the edges after at least six years - so I found this model which is similar in style to the original FitFlop. And I'm very disappointed. It's totally comfortable, no problem with that - but there is an inner center of material on the bottom of the sole which is hard plastic, and it's slippery on hard flooring! I've tried to get used to it, but when I sat at my desk and tried to roll my chair back (on a hard chair pad) my feet skidded out from under me, because the sandal is so slippery on the bottom, including the rocker-heel part. Sorry - these are being returned. I will have to find a local vendor and try out different models.

Reviews sound promising re the return to the somewhat original shoe in width. Since they narrowed the shows making them "petite" in width, haven't worked for me. Many of us were wearing the original classic fit (I've always worn a medium width)when they suddenly decided to take this very large clunky shoe and change the width that that very small women could buy them. How has this worked out for the rest of us? Not well. I would really like to buy these shoes but other reviews are showing that despite the increase in width, the straps are breaking and there isn't the traditional arch support which are the reason we've been buying these shoes!!! PLEASE get Fit Flops to go back to the original sizing. Then if they want to manufacture a "petite" size go ahead and do that. The return to fabric straps is also a good idea -- many of the original Fit Flops had fabric straps -- but we also have to have QUALITY shoes and not straps that break.

FitFlops have been my favorite summer footwear since they became available some 8 years ago and I order some each spring. What has happened to the arch support and comfortable foot bed from before? The only thing similar is the depth of the shoe. I'm returning the 2 I've not worn yet and will have to use orthotics in the pair I wore before realizing the difference from past years.

Cute, but had to return. I've had to return the last 4 pair of flip flops I've ordered over the past 2-3 years. I've tried different styles hoping one would work. They seem to be making the top strap so loose they won't stay on my feet. I have survived on fit flops for many many years. I own several and I LOVE them. I can walk all day long in them and always wear them around the house, rain or shine. So I am sooooo bummed they are making them so loose/large at the support strap across the arch/toe area. It seems many people are having the same problem. I hope they hear us and offer those of us who need a snugger fit across top of foot an option.

I really really wanted to like these! I want a basic looking black flip flop that won't kill my feet. I have owned FitFlops in the past. But this one isn't going to work. My foot fits into the footbed perfectly the problem is the straps don't even touch the top of my foot. Way too roomy. I tried walking in them and I feel long-term it would be hard to try to keep them on. I don't have small or narrow feet or have ever had any trouble like this with a flip flop. Too bad the straps aren't more snug. Continuing the search.

The foot bed was awesome and felt true to size for a size 8. The strap across the top was huge and didn't even touch my foot.

Too bad...the striped fabric tore away for the center thong in 2 days. I returned to and Zappos immediately replaced with another pair that again tore in the same place in a few days. Sad to return 2 pair due to defects.

Very disappointed. I just started wearing these a few weeks ago and they are tearing where the cloth strap attaches between the toes. I know Zappos will take care of me…but I like these a lot and don't like seeing them falling apart.

I love fit flops and have been wearing various styles for years.i ordered this new Surfa style as they looked cool and comfy which they are! BUT after wearing them for about two weeks the webbing started tearing and I sent them back. Of course Zappos sent me a new pair no problem. Wore the new pair for two days and they started tearing yet again. I am positive that this new style is defective and am now getting a different older style from Zappos. Thank goodness Zapposis so accommodating So I do not recommend these.

I'm not sure what words are used to describe the bottom of these sandals but they are 'fabric' and very slippery. They are not at all the same 'rubber' material that is on my other fitflops! They are very comfortable but the sole makes them slippery and dangerous to wear on a smooth surface! They are going back!

Not pleased at all with this purchase. Felt cheap! No arch support. Poor quality

These straps have become so tight they no longer fit me. Was my go to for about 10 years.

I don’t understand why I’m getting used shoes on Zappos? This is the third time this is happening and I am tired of returning.

I bought this same shoe in 2020 and I loved them. My podiatrist recommended the company for a neuroma. I needed a new pair because they were losing support. I could tell as soon as I received that the quality of the webbing was inferior. Within 3 days of wearing the webbing had torn on one shoe. called Zappos and they immediately refunded. Obviously there is a manufacturing issue with this style of Fit Flops but still think the company makes great shoes.

Webbing broke after wearing it 3 times. Bought the same style shoe in 2020 and it is vastly different quality. Price also increased $20 for inferior product. Do not buy.

Over the last many years I have purchased at least a dozen pairs of size 7 Fitflops - clogs, sneakers, slide-ins, boots. I've been trying to replace some older sandals with newer ones, but have been unsuccessful. The newer versions (of Surfa and Lulu ) have all been too small; I can barely get my foot into them as the top strap is too small over my instep. The strap rubs to the point of giving me a painful rub mark and the shoes are monumentally uncomfortable. What is with Fitflops???? I can no longer count on Fitflops to be my go-to comfortable sandal.

These hurt my feet where the thong comes through my toes. I don't wear them often.
