Let me start out by saying that Danskos are the only shoes that I wear. I love these shoes. I ordered my typical Dansko size (40) and they fit perfectly out of the box. I have worn them several days now with jeans, ankle pants, and a dress and they are comfortable, stylish, and super fun. I need to treat them with some waterproofing before the snow starts to fly but I anticipate that I will get several fall/winters out of them because they are well made. Great arch support, like a typical Dansko shoe. Glad that I made the purchase. Fast shipping and service from zappos too.

If you buy one shoe for the next 10 years then this is the shoe. I've been wearing Dansko clogs since around 1999. I've owned countless numbers of the shoes and I especially adore the Professional Clog and the Marcelle. Then I tried the boots! They are perfect! I'm usually a 10 in all shoes. I wear a 40 in the clogs, but have been known to size up to a 41 in the more narrow styles. My foot is a bit on the wider side across the toes, but a narrow heel. I mostly wear a medium width. I was surprised to read that so many reviewers found this shoe narrow since I definitely do not have a narrow foot and the Maria boot is perfect. I've been wearing them since I received them. I wore them through the airport on a trip to Montana, underneath a ball skirt for an outdoor wedding and even on the dance floor later. I love these boots and find them to be extraordinarily comfortable and versatile. I chose the taupe color and they go with everything.

I have worn a size 37 in all sorts of Dansko styles for years. Even with fluffy socks, the 37 was too large in the "Maria." I was skeptical that the 36 would fit but it is perfect. A comfortable stylish short boot! I plan to wear it with leggings with skirts and dresses and also with jeans.

Finally a stylish looking Dansko that is just as comfortable as the standard clog (possibly more comfortable!) Worth the high $$.

New favorite shoes. I have been a loyal Dansko customer for years, wearing them both at work and at home in my more casual life. I was thrilled to see them dress it up a little with this style. I bought them in taupe and love them so much I think I might buy another pair in black. I live in Texas and don't interact with much water, but these could probably use a quick waterproofing if you are going to be wearing them in the snow or wet. The sizing is consistent with other Danskos in that there is definitely room around your foot inside the shoe, which is a little disconcerting in a bootie, but as soon as I start walking around I can tell they are the appropriate size. Bonus points for being spacious enough for extra thick winter socks. Just as comfortable as my clogs, but I look like I'm wearing heels. Total win.

A definite thumbs up! LOVE this boot!! I've been wearing Daskos since the 70's and this boot is awesome. Somehow over the years I've ended up between size 37 and 38 and I bought this boot in a 38. It's roomy enough for a winter sock but I wore them yesterday with a footie. It's a boot so a little big is no problem for me. Width is fine - typical fit for Dansko. VERY COMFORTABLE!! May make a splurge and buy ta pair in another color : )

Color was great, and the boot was very cute -- but super uncomfortable. The "m" line of Dansko shoes this year has a very different footbed... For those of us used to their clogs, it's quite a change. Unfortunately, one I can't wear at all.

This shoe is gorgeous in every way and exactly what I wanted. Beautiful leather, great construction and a truly comfortable insole. They can be worn with tights, jeans, skinnys, whatever I tried with them, they worked and I highly recommend having at least one pair in your closet. Sadly, I had to return them and it broke my heart. This was truly a case of "it's me, not you." I broke a big toe several years ago and there was something about the shape of the boot that made it hurt. The other foot was beyond happy so I know it wasn't the design of the shoe -- definitely my foot. If I could, I'd have these in every color and they'd be the ones I'd reach for first.

I've had them for a week and have gotten compliments everywhere. They're super comfortable and the leather is so soft. The only issue (and it's a small, solvable one) is that it's hard to find socks that don't peek out and also don't slip off my heels. I would definitely recommend getting them!

I have wide feet with high arches and simply could not get my left foot into the boot. Tried up two sizes in the store and still couldn't get it in. Opening is just not big enough. Danskos usually feel like they are made for my feet but not this time. Right foot in the boot felt narrower than usual.

I have narrow feet and these were hugging the sides of my feet. Also were at least a half size too small compared to other Danskos. Could not wear socks with them. Had to return

I typically like Dansko boots. Although these are beautiful boots and roomy, there soles were too stiff, making my heels slip up as I walked. Perhaps they were too big, but I think that the stiff soles don't work for this design.

I wanted to love this boot but I ended up returning it. My issue was the boot is a little more clunky than a pointed boot and did not pair nicely with straight and bootcut dress pants. If they would have worked with my pants I would have kept them for the comfort. One thing that was interesting to note - I got the taupe color and the black trim around the bottom edge is actually staples. For the cost you would think the staples would be somewhat straight/perfect but they are not. I wear between a size 7.5 and 8 and the 8 fit my just fine with a medium weight sock on.

I am a Dansko convert. I now understand why nurses wear them to work in. They are like walking on clouds. I am blown away. I will buying more Dansko shoes for certain! Wow!

I love these shoes! I live in the Pacific Northwest and these shoes stand up to our wet winters (after treating the leather) and still look great 2 years in. Like dansko's clogs, the foot bed is so comfortable I can wear these all day and walk for miles in them no problem. I'd love to own every color!

The Swedish Hasbeens didn't fit these mostly did but not as edgy and industrial looking or as tall.

Always quite pleased with Dansko. Keeping the boots. They slip a little in the heel when walking so I must wear with a sock to prevent that.

I would probably own 15+ pair of Danskos if you all would just make them in size 43.

I have bought these boots before from a store. I am an 8½ shoe size but all they had was the EU 40 a little big but with in soles and thick socks they worked great. So this time I ordered the 39 thinking it would be a better fit. I could not even get my feet into them. I felt like one of the ugly sisters with the glass slipper. I am so disappointed because my previous pair saved my feet and legs and I spend a lot of time on them. I have returned them and may try shopping at the store again. If not I will try the larger size and hope for the best. I am disappointed!

The toe area was a little too tight for me and the ankle area was a little too loose. My foot slipped out of the shoe a bit even though the length was fine. I liked the hard sole of the shoe - hard soles are more comfortable for me than very flexible soles. The heel height was a bit taller than I expected from the picture.

Love this boot so much I bought it in two colors. It does run a bit small/narrow. I normally wear a 36 and had to buy a 37.

I purchased these shoes during the late fall and they are so comfortable that I have pretty much worn them every day since. I walk and stand a lot at work and have not had any issues with leg or back pain once I started wearing these. I hope that they stay in style because I would keep buying them over and over!

So comfortable and cute! Easy to get on, even though I have high arches and fat ankles (due to being pregnant)! Get tons of compliments, and can wear them all day without any discomfort. Dansko are always in European sizes, so beware when ordering.

I was worried about the narrow width as I have a wide foot. I wear a 40W in the professional Danskos. I ordered in a 41 and 42. 41 Fit perfectly. With ample room too! 42 were boats These are extremely comfortable and cushioned. I can wear all day. Give just enough height. They're so great my friend got them. I tried on her 40s and I couldn't even get my foot in.

I love these shoes! They are comfortable and cute and fun to walk in! I bought my first pair of Dansko clogs in the 1990s and have worn them ever since, though in recent years I've grown tired of the clunky wide silhouette of the Professional. The more fitted silhouette and faux wood heels make these seem a little more hip. I also have these in brown, and I have the Markie (which is basically just this boot with a tassel) and I also have the Marisol, which is a clog/shoe with the same heel. I recommend them all! Note that these shoes do not fit like Dansko professionals, so a medium is really a medium width.
