My husband has had these sleeves for a couple years and always raves about how cool they keep his arms during hikes, runs or mountain biking so I recently got a pair for myself. The sleeves also eliminates the need for sunscreen which is nice since most sunscreen is quite toxic. We both have a lot of tattoos on our arms so these sleeves also protect the ink from fading. I like the thumb hole because that way the sleeves cover the entire back of my hand. I run a lot of miles outdoors and I think these things are going to save my skin. I do think they run small but they stretch.

Love these sleeves...they're like little fridges for your arms when cycling (especially if you dampen them). My beef is that the new model is significantly bigger, and I've had to take a full inch out of the top of the S/M size to stop them slipping down. For reference, I'm a 6'1" 68kg female, so I'm slim, but definitely not petite. Please give us an XS! Also, more bright colours so we don't get run over. Peace :)

I own the silver version of these sleeves and they are awesome! So awesome I decided to order the olive green as well since I spend a great amount of time out in the sun. To my disappointment there was a big size difference between the two pairs. Either the olive material has a different kind or stretch or the manufacturing process has far too much size variance.

As it's still winter I can't click more than lightweight and good fit. I live at mountain altitude and spend a lot of my days outside so I'm looking forward to these as all-day protection instead of reapplying sunscreen hourly. I can say I'm very glad a bought these and look forward to getting them dirty!

Use them for road cycling and MTB'ing. Perfect for this use. New Zealand has high UV and protection is a must. Fabulously cooling fabric. I am using the L / XL size and fits well. However this size is not suitable for a man with medium/large biceps. My husband has good sized biceps (not bodybuilder type) and the sleeves are too tight on him. This would be the case for more than a few men I would think. Please consider making an XXL. I don't have large biceps and the L / XL fits me very well without feeling tight, therefore I would rate this size as M / L. Certainly not up to XL.

This is my second pair of ActiveIce sleeves. I use them for canoe trips in warm weather as well as archery season. I liked them so much that i use them from time to time at work where I am required to wear a long sleeve shirt. I get away with the sleeves and a t-shirt which keeps me cooler in hotter temperatures. The fabric is soft on the skin and wick moisture perfectly. The lightweight makes them an easy item to take on any outdoor trip.

I've been migrating away from sunscreen and towards better coverage. These do a good job, and feel cooler that I would have guessed. Only downside (as expected) is they are prone to showing dirt around the palms. It's just the nature of any hand covering I think.

Having had three things cut off my left arm due to sun exposure over the years I have to be more careful these days. Sun sleeves have been a great alternative to slapping on sunscreen all the time. I wear them sea kayaking on the bike and driving with arm out the window. I have another pair but like the OR better. I'm not a muscle man and was worried the L/XL would be to big but they're not. Very comfortable, stay in place. The thumb holes and extra length over the hand is nice too. When you don't want it just pull it back to your wrist. I wear them all the time. Well worth it.

Worked very well. Saves the time and mess of slathering on sunscreen.

Nice lightweight and easy to wear sun protection that takes up little to no room in the pack. Great to have along on sunny days or just for a little extra warmth / wind protection on summer morning bike rides, etc. I try to always have these on my arms or in my pack, comfortable to wear.

I wanted sun sleeves because I often forget to reapply sunscreen, and when I do, it's sticky and road grit sticks to my arms. I have a lot of moles on my arms so I need to be extra careful about the sun. These work great on my bicycle tours. Lightweight, they stay in place, comfortable and effective. At first I was concerned they were a bit long, but I prefer longer, as it lessens the chance of gaps.

These sun sleeves are a game changer for people like me that burn easily. They fold up so small, and are not unbearable to wear in the heat/humidity. I liked mine so much that I purchased a pair for my Dad for Father's Day.

Psyched to have these to protect against sun burn and possibly, a misting of tear gas during Seattle protests for social justice. Rather than having to wear a long sleeved shirt I opted for these to pull out as necessary. Strategic thumb holes ensure the sleeves are kept in place.

Loved my partner's sleeves so much I had him order me a pair! Exceptional protection from burns while keeping me cool on the trail. Added bonus: they helped keep bugs from biting in the evening. These are so easy to pack in my pocket and weigh next to nothing.

I use this gardening and walking out with the kids at the park. I am fairly small 5'3 and 160lbs and they fit me perfectly. It I had more muscle it might be an issue around biceps...but none to speak of here. They hand wash easily and they have help up well during a very busy summer. Goin to see if there are other colors to change things up. They do not feel hot at all. They are surprisingly cooling.

I use these sleeves for hiking and golf to keep the sun off my arms. The fit really well and they do not fall down. I find them extremely comfortable and cool in the hot sun. A good buy! (I purchased S/M size).

I use this when cycling and it has worked great! No need to use sunscreen. It feels weird to be layered up when it's hot but I feel cooler overall.

Excellent sun protection and even on really hot days they can be worn without my arms melting. The only thing I don't use is the thumb holes since I use these for biking and want my hands free, but for running this option might work. I am slim at 5'9" and the s/m fits well and doesn't come down ever. Definitely recommend.

I work 10 hour shifts outside in the Arizona sunlight and these go above and beyond to protect my arms from the rays that give me those nasty heat rashes.

Excellent for road cycling and whatever else you want it for. Sun protection is great and keeps me from slathering sunscreen all over my body. These stay pretty cool, even under heavy exertion in 80 degree weather. 6ft 190lbs, l/xl is perfect size.
