Now I just need to give it a name! Packed it to a very rainy event in the forest recently and it kept my merchandise clean and dry Took it on weekend car trips to see relatives, leaving room in the bag to bring stuff home Had an indoor 8-hour event where I had to change into formalwear on-site. I got dressed and used this bag to store the non-formal things including a smaller bag: 2 shirts, jeans, baselayers, thick hoodie, denim jacket, 1 pair loafers, small backpack. After that, had ONE bag to keep track of, on a day with a million other things to do. Duffel is bright purple, which also means nobody could inconspicuously walk away with it. I feel confident stuffing gear in there and throwing it into the back of my partner's old, rusty, abrasive pickup bed without worrying that anything inside will get dirty or gross. So I recently bought one for him too in a less conspicuous color. He will run it through his "man test" by strapping it to the tops of vehicles and taking it into the woods a lot. It is a floppy bag, so if it's not full, it helps to pack things in a bundle shape to help keep structure Cinch straps will secure a jacket or sweatshirt. The cinch straps tend to loosen faster than I'd like though. Grab handle is padded so it's comfortable, but the snaps take a few extra seconds compared to Velcro closure. I know that's a good tradeoff though, considering Velcro doesn't last as long.

This product is exactly as described. Roomy for longer trips and because its a duffle it fits into unusual spaces. Rolls well and wheels don't get in the way. Great carrying bag comes along with it. I like to use it for small items or transporting small electronics.

You have to be a little creative when packing the bag as there is no structure to hold it open. I use the Eagle Creek packing system which helps but there is creativity in the width you can max it out at and being able to zip it up. We travel with gifts a lot and this bag is perfect. We pack it full of stuff, fly to our destination, and then roll it up in our suitcase to come home so one less bag to check. Love it!

Best lightweight rolling duffle.

This item is great for overnight sleepovers for my teenager. It is also great to keep things organized as a carry on for the plane. I am amazed at how much stuff one can cram into it!I bought three, one for me and one for each of my kids. I loved it so much I bought one for my husband too!

Well made. Back panel slips perfectly over luggage handle making this an ideal personal item to take on plane. Sturdy yet light weight. Holds much more than it appears it would. Great bag.

I travel with a lot of samples. This bag holds a ton without weighing a lot itself. The color stands out a mile away. I have had it for years and never had a bag last this long. GOOD investment if you travel a lot

We love our new duffel bags, all our scuba gear fits in it plus all our clothing for a one week trip. And it is lightweight and waterproof.

I have got to say I was thrilled(!) when a family member gave me the small version of this duffle bag (yea, I spell it differently). It was the bright yellow (in an eye pleasing shade) and nearly all of the bag was yellow (including the clips!!). The only parts that are black are the zippers and pull. I was so thrilled with the color that I ordered this larger one for weekend trips and the quality is still outstanding. I usually go for subdue colors in luggage, but the color palette in this duffle was too neat to pass up. It is so rare to find colorful AND durable bags I just cannot say enough good things about this luggage. This material also has a waterproof type wicking finish so I have no worries using it here in rainy Oregon. Also cleaning has been a breeze with just wiping everything off with a damp cloth. Smudges may take a little soap with water. If you are looking for more subdue colors, I have seen the slate blue and black and they have everything you want in low-key. There is something here to suite everyone!

This was purchased as a gift, but I liked it enough to get the same for myself. We have purchased many of Eagle Creek selections to compress our travel needs. Therefore, between the international 20 inch flat and this 20 inch duffel, we don't need to check luggage in at the airports when we travel.

Great bag for a reasonable price

The EC Small Duffel holds a surprising amount of stuff, yet weighs so little. With this and a lightweight backpack, I easily carried everything needed for a 7-day airline trip. The size and shape of this bag is ideal; I packed the same stuff in a different soft-sided carry-on and it felt unwieldy. It's great being able to squeeze this duffel into an overhead bin that is too full for a hard-sided, wheeled carry-on. With EC Specter packing organizers, I can make the most efficient use of space in this duffel while adding very little weight. The photo below shows all that I fit into this bag: a small garment folder; 1 full-size compression cube; 3 half compression cubes; 2 tube cubes; 1 quarter cube; 1 small sac; an empty compression sac for dirty laundry; and a ziplock bag for gels and liquids. Even with all this, the duffel wasn't quite full.

I travel a lot to Costa Rica, easy to travel with this product!! For me the great thing is the size XL full weight 50 pounds, what the airlines aloud!!

Bought this for use as a carry on for a flight to the UK. Perfect size to hold all I need if checked luggage gets lost

Small size / lightweight yet big and durable when open.

Great for traveling by car or plane. Comfortable and durable for camping and athletic use. I took it for a week-long trip last week - I packed a ton of stuff in this bag and still carried it on my shoulder comfortably. It comes tucked in a small bag and stores easily. I use that small bag for small electronics when I travel. Really pleased with my purchase.

Took it trekking in nepal and tibet. IT WAS Tossed Around AND Kept Up With lots of abuse. I would order it again or as a gift for college student. The one draw back was that it was not alway easy to roll when managing a large suit case as well.

Love the red, it's gorgeous. It fit all my clothes for a cross-country move and kept them all safe and dry during thr trip. I hope to use it a lot more throughout the years!

The bag holds a lot of stuff however if trying to roll to it once you can be a little difficult best to carry one and roll one

Well built to withstand the airline assault, and allowed me to pack my wardrobe for college. I used the packing cubes to keep my clothes in good shape since this is a collapsible duffle. Worked out very well.

For travel back and forth from college. I have to store everything I own in my dorm, and this folds away very neatly. It is also very well built to withstand the airline assault.

Holds a lot of stuff.

Just used the bag on a 11 day vacation..it passed through airports and cruise ship handling great! No problems yet and still in great condition. I would suggest using the pack it system for everything to help hold structure as you pack the bag. We used the folding packs and cubes. Our other duffel has structured sides so a little easier to pack but with the packing system it's not too hard with this duffel, and then it folds up so small once you get to your destination and unpack. Great for tight spaces or small rooms.

Awesome product. Extremely durable. Lightweight. It can pack a lot and it is easy to carry around. Decent product that will not let you down.
