Every year we take replacement linens, rugs, etc. down to our condo in Akumal Mexico. This year we are also taking two inflatable stand up paddle boards. Our other Eagle Creek rolling suitcases were not long enough to take the SUPs. These No Matter What rolling duffles are amazing. Each one is now loaded with one SUP with a long rug rolled up inside of it and large plastic glasses stuffed in each with 4 washcloths . The parts of the SUP that are breakable are padded with 5 bathmats, hand towels and a smaller rug. We couldn't believe it when we zipped it up and weighed them. 50# each! PERFECT!

Good durable small duffel but with the bonus of a "sleeve" that slides over the handle of my wheeled duffel, making the whole package easy to transport. Love that feature.

I travel a lot for work and often have to use those tiny regional planes. I recently hurt my back and decided I needed a bag that would easily tuck in under the seat in front of me, to save me having to lift it in to one of the overhead bins. After much deliberation and a million YouTube video reviews later I decided on this bag!! Best decision I ever made! I can fit so much into his bag, but more on that later. The quality of the bag is brilliant, the zippers are good and strong, the carry straps are well sewn on and don't look or feel likely to come undone or tear away from the bag, the material of the bag is very good - I have an EC guide courier handbag with this material at the bottom so I know how durable the material is because that handbag has been all over the place and still looks like new after a couple of years! the inside of the bag is just a big black hole with no fussy pockets and the small zippered pocket on the outside of the bag is perfect for my passport and a small purse. I live in the UK and a lot of the airlines only allow you to have one carry-on bag and no personal item. Capacity, well I couldn't believe what I could get in this bag, I do have a tendency to overpack! - I have attached two pictures which show how much I was able to pack for a recent weekend break! The carry bag that comes with this duffel was used to carry a pair of shoes. As the pictures show, I'm a bit of an Eagle Creek fangirl and am now deciding what other goodies I should buy!

I recently used the NMW Flashpoint XL duffle on a 5 week expedition including South America, a 24 day voyage to Antarctica, and Patagonia. The NMW duffle revolutionized my expedition packing as the duffle is 7,800 cu. in. and only weighs 4 lb. 3 oz! After many adventure travel expeditions this duffle changed the game being very lightweight to meet very strict airline rules and is extremely durable. Having used Eagle Creek duffles for over 20 years the NMW Flashpoint Rolling Duffel is now my top choice for adventure travel. My travel friend (an Eagle Creek user) spotted my NMW duffle bag and immediately ordered 2 for his next trip! Kudos on building the best duffle period.

I've used this as a weekend carry-on bag but usually as an additional bag when I know I'll be coming home with more than I left with. I have a similar size duffel made with cordura nylon that I was happy with but left it at home one time and needed to buy a new one. I saw this duffel at an outdoor store and was immediately impressed by its sturdiness and the high quality of materials. It's bulletproof. It makes my other duffel look wimpy. There's a price to pay for that sturdiness, tough, and that's in a larger size when compressed. This duffel takes up about one and a half times as much volume as my lighter weight duffel. On the other hand, I now feel reckless having trusted my belongings to airlines with the lighter weight duffel. I'm quite confident that the No Matter What duffel will handle anything the airline gorillas can throw at it. Even though it's a simple single compartment duffel it's well designed and all materials are topnotch. The one feature I've realy come to appreciate is the "back slip panel" that steadies the duffel on the extended handle of a rolling suitcase. This prevents the duffel from sliding off the suitcase. It's a simple but valuable solution. All in all, a great product.

Just completed 7 weeks in India - our 2 Eagle Creek rolling duffels still look brand-new, absolutely no signs of wear and tear after being hauled on and off 10 flights, 4 trains, countless taxis, buses, rickshaws, in and out of 22 hotels, and dragged with little care along incredibly rough streets, paths, and "sidewalks". VERY impressed with them. Light weight allows for more "stuff" (our adventure travels require little in the way of clothing, but lots of equipment). Combine with a few Eagle Creek packing cubes for keeping everything organized.

This is one of the best lightweight bag i ever had in my life. It saved my $300-$500 on extra luggage in international airlines. After using this bag for a 6months, i bought 2 of the same bags.

This is the Beastmaster of duffels! Light to carry but you can pack it to death! Clothes stay nice and organized. Good compression straps. Roomy and easy to access items. Great handles and good zippers. The packability is the star! you will be amazed! Crosses over well to both genders, not too boyish and not butterflies and pink hearts. Takes a beating and bounces back! Love it great bag ,great price! Well made. Only complaint: Would love a few more colors...C"mon Eagle Creek, duffels can be travel fashion forward!! But , I do love the duffel!

I use this duffel as an extra hauler of odd items. Do not like to carry purses so this is mine imp. papers wallet and a great add to my carry on. Love the attach band on back to add to carry on. Sturdy as heck and can pack extra set of clothes along with loose gear when air lines ,OOPS loses your luggage. Quality is true Eagle Creek and wouldn't have any other. worth the price, it will outlast any adventure you throw at it! Stylish and does the job!!

*First Impression review* Soon to leave on a 3 month climbing/fishing/ camping trip where the pack will be thrown in and out of a truck almost daily. Duffel will be holding all clothes/hygiene/ miscellaneous. Looks tough, packs well. I like the square construction as opposed to the typical rounded duffel; this allows you to overstuff generously and the zippers seem tough enough to deal with it. I packed three pillows in it and took it outside to test water resistance. Sprayed from all sides with a hose for 5 seconds each and let sit. Unzipped a few minutes later and definitely a lot of wet through. This material appears like a vinyl, waterproof fabric but it allows water to absorb quite readily. The video is a bit misleading spraying it down with a garden hose and expecting it to stay dry. In some reviews people were using this as car top luggage and for expeditions in the elements( I.e pack trips, float trips). I'd strongly suggest looking at dry bags instead of this. Otherwise, it looks like some durable travel luggage but.... time will tell!

Superb. It was exactly what I was looking for my frequent trips. Light enough to be carried, once folded, inside another luggage. The material looks very solid. Hope the black bottom side is washable.

Many other wheeled bags roll or protect content better, but no other wheeled bag of this size is just 1.9kg. Packed to the max the XL slightly exceeds some airlines' size limits for checked luggage, 62" or 158cm. So do not pack to the max to remain on there safe side. But the XL is the better choice for taller travelers. The optional snap-on straps are extra cost and poor design, because they occupy the compression straps.

Bought this bag for a extended trip to Canada. All fine. BUT: Had to find out that many European Airlines like Swiss make a limit of the size (length+height+depth in centimeters) to 158 cm. This bag has more! That is not fault of the bag of course but might end in you being ripped off (100 Euro extra e.g. at Swiss)!

This bag would be PERFECT if it had two removable baffles. Once the bag is upright (rolling position) all the clothes (and travel packs) shift down toward the bottom.

I bought this for my son to take to camp. It is big, light and compactible. My only concern is that it is unwieldy to pull so it will be difficult for him in the airport.

Bought this to augment my "longer trip" baggage arsenal. Needed something just a little smaller that my really huge rolling trunk/rigid bottom/duffel/hybrid. I REALLY like this bag - size is perfect, it's well made, rolls great, and packs A TON of stuff, AND it rolls up when not in use to store in its own little bag...how great is that?! That being said...because the bottom is not rigid, it can be a little weird to roll around when it is not stuffed good and full, it wants to fold...sort of. It's not bad, not a "con", really, just ...unexpected, at first. Tethering/looping/snapping the front handle to a rigid carry-on seems to be the right way to roll with this bag, so far. It's such a great bag, though, I'm getting the next smaller version of this same bag for when I need a skosh LESS room.

I like the "No matter what" rolling duffle bag so far. I had packed a lot of clothes for my trip to Germany and there was still plenty of room left.

I must admit I only have a couple of months use on the bag so this is more of a first impressions review. I'm very pleased. I use the duffel for work travel and it's working out so well, I'll likely start using it for weekend trips too. Typically my duffel bag is loaded in the back cab of my work truck. I have to be careful of placement to keep dirty boots, waders, wet gear and rain off the bag. With the Eagle Creek, placement is not an issue. So far the NMW duffel has kept my clothes dry and clean. The baffle over the zipper does a great job of keeping water and sand out. There's plenty of room in the M size duffel and the compression straps do a great job snugging everything up nice and tight. Things to consider: 1. The bag is made of light weight material which might be an issue for those who don't want "compression". 2. I'm not sure of the puncture or wear resistance only time will tell but with the warranty I'm not overly concerned.

I love its lightweight design and sheer size. In real live, the prevailing, heavy hard suitcases do not provide better protection. On its wheels, but without heavy, rigid pull handle, bottom or frame it operates wobbly, with too much load on the pull handle. So I hang the handle on my cabin trolly like a semitrailer, with laptop- or briefcase on top. This luggage train works like a dream. With one hand I drag everything behind me, even through narrow aisles of commuter trains. I can carry the duffel on my back. For this I sling the grab handles arround my shoulders like backpack straps. For balance I bend forward, but this is still better than to carry the loaded bag in one hand or over one shoulder. I do not recommend the optional quick snap straps, because they disable the compression straps. Grab handles with adjustable length would be better. Users taller than 1.75m should go for the XL size. Its dimensions 91x38x36cm when fully packed are 7cm above TSA limits. I never had problems from that, but for peace of mind I would prefer a slightly smaller bag just within the limits.

There is a need for a bag designed exactly like this one, except it needs to be longer. Many people carry hard cased items such as gun cases, tripod cases, kayak paddles, etc. These items for the most part are about 38-40". The internally carried case would form the back bone and should have 1 or 2 tie down straps (or loops to accept straps )to keep it in place. The overall bulk of the bag might be trimmed down a bit. In the end the airlines charge when it goes over 50 pounds. No one else makes a bag to fill this need. I looked every where. I would market a 40" version but do take some of the bulk out of it

I LOVE this bag. I took with me on my African Safari and it performed like a dream. The only draw back is that without a solid frame on the back it is hard to keep it on this wheels. However, this draw back in no way outweighs the pros of this bag. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
