These shoes are rad! They are true to size. They're comfortable. Perfect for summer!

I always bought Keen sport sandals until I had foot surgery, complete with 7 pins, including one in my instep and two in my arch. This made finding shoes that don't press on my instep and have only moderate arch support very difficult and I could no longer wear my Keen sandals. I complimented a friend on her sandals and asked if they were Keens. No, she said, they're Ahnu. I tried one on and was hooked. I ordered them the next day (Saturday) and they arrived today (Monday). Yay, Zappos! They are perfect! The top straps are adjustable and the arch is exactly what I need. I love the heel stabilizer and the roomy toe box. I can't wait to start more walking. I have a feeling I may need to order more in different colors.

Keens do not work for my feet. I slip out of the back of them and they are a bit to wide. These are just right and the support on the back is amazing. Try them out! Free shipping each way so what do you have to lose?!

At first I ordered my shoe size and they were a little bit short. I easily arranged an exchange to the next size up and consistent with my sneaker size. They fit fine. I've been wearing them on shore and in the sea on our vacation in the British Virgin Islands. They are great! Comfortable, nice cushion for walking and good support.

I LOVE this shoe! This is the first one I have tried from this brand and I will most certainly purchase others. It is super light yet offers great support. Has a very wide and deep toe box without looking bulky (like Keens); which I need and is hard to find.

I broke my ankle two years ago and for the rest of my life will need to wear shoes that offer maximum heel and ankle support. Sandals are a particular problem as there just is not enough material to provide that support. But these shoes are fabulous! The first thing I did was go for a long walk uphill and down - on concrete, which I normally would never attempt in a sandal. And my ankle did just fine. Plus I never rub a blister in these. I also have the Ahnu Air Mesh sneakers and they are the most comfortable and supportive sneaker I have ever worn. I absolutely love Ahnu. Please note: both pairs of my Agnus are half a size smaller than normal.

Just received these shoes and spent an entire day walking about downtown St. Louis on the concrete. To my surprise, they were exactly as described. No breaking in necessary. Just love the comfort and adjustable straps are great.

Bought these mostly for outdoor hiking, including wading through creeks, and I think they will suit that purpose well.The velcro strap closure around the ankle makes them very convenient to get on/off. They are light weight but fit securely allowing me to walk or run easily. No blister issues with break-in while wearing socks. Had ordered in a size 8 but was able to exchange for a better fit 7.5 because Zappos is so easy to deal with. So far I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered this and the Teva Omnium for a side by side comparison. While I liked that Teva offered lighter color options, the Ahnu was better in every other way. The Tilden V is so comfortable on every part of the foot. The Teva is stiffer and taller in the back, reaching the achilles and causing discomfort. This shoe stops before the achilles and the material is much softer against the back of the foot. And I like that the Ahnu appears more streamlined on the foot without being too narrow. I have a wide foot across the toe box and it is not too tight. It just looks better. The Teva is going back and this Ahnu is the keeper. In fact, my daughter wants a pair so I'm ordering another!

Very comfortable shoe. NIce looking too. Bought for a trip to Cancun next spring. Can wear with socks so even more comfortable. Put in orthodics for arch support.

These are so comfortable! I have short toes. My feet are widish. I have a high instep & a high arch. I've been trying to find a comfortable, wear-everyday, shoe. I can wear them with socks & without! I've had to send so many pairs back, including other Ahnu styles, Keens and others. Keen Whispers, in fact, have been my favorites until I got a pair of Tildens. These are now my go-tos! And they're cute!

I ordered these for a trip I was taking to Italy. I did not have a chance to break them in. I did a 6 mile hike (rocks, stones, dirt, steep inclines and descents), the shoes were fantastic straight out of the box. No rubbing. A couple of notes: I like to walk barefoot, these shoes have lower arch support - perfect for me. These run true to size. I am a size 8. These run a tad narrow (narrower than Keene)and I need narrow. Most shoes are too wide for me when listed at medium width. These hugged my foot while giving my foot room to move. The cushioning was thick, firm and yet flexible enough for descending steps, uneven rocks, and rocky terrain.

I just started wearing my shoes this week. Immediate comfort. I have a narrow foot, so I put a insert in them and it works. It's been hot this week and my feet have stayed cool, no need for socks. I preserve another pair in a different color this morning.

I've just purchased my second pair of these shoes. The first pair I wore for travel and walking for 3 years and I never had a moment of discomfort. Put on the new pair and went for my walk. They provided just the same kind of fit, comfort and support as the old ones had!

Great fit and great arch support. I love that there are so many ways to make adjustments for a perfect fit. Highly recommend.

I just purchased these shoes and wore them immediately without socks. My feet are between a 7.5 and 8.0. I got a size 8 and the shoes just fit. They seem to run a tad small. That said, 8.5 would have been too big. I like that you can adjust the width. The shoes are very comfortable. I have ordered another pair.

What an amazing shoe! Bought it 2 weeks prior to my Hawaii vacation with the intent of using it for both hiking and beach-going. I could not have chosen a better shoe!!! I spent a few days walking around in them prior to our departure and was blown away by how wonderfully comfortable they are. No rubbing anywhere, not on the ankle, toes, nowhere. Just cloud-like comfort. We hiked for hours on lava rocks, wet stones and mud, sand, and outright dirt and these are the best hiking shoes I have ever owned. Comfortable, great traction on all of the different terrain, and so very easy to clean. I will never go back to another brand!

These sandals are quite comfortable, and I love being able to adjust the fit since I do not like sloppy sandals for walking and hiking. Some other reviews said they ran large, so I ordered both my regular size (7) and a half size larger (7½). The 7½ was way too large and the 7 was still a bit roomy. I have thin feet so I ordered a 6½ in another color, and that fits fine even with my orthotics. I decided to keep the 7 as well and wear it with foam insoles under the orthotics. I could walk all day in them!

Bought a pair back in April, for a trip to Hawaii. Straight from the box they were a perfect walking shoe. Bought a second pair for a back up plan or if they are discontinued. Have had many compliments on them.

I love almost everything about this shoe. Very comfortable with a soft interior. My only problem with it is I always feel like my little toe is about to pop out the holes in the front.

Overall a great shoe. Lighter than Keens. Great support. Good looks. Did some light hiking right away without any issues. Love that you can adjust the heel and the top of the foot. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and Zappos great service.

This is the second pair of Ahnu Tilden I have owned. The first pair lasted several years. They were perfect for rocky beaches, hiking in Costa Rica and Africa, and I even wore them for water aerobics. The glue finally gave way and I happily bought another pair.

This is my second pair of Tildens. They are really comfortable. They are rugged shoes that are clunky looking, so they are not that versatile. Darker colors worsen the effect, so I wish that they made them lighter colors like in a tan or salmon color, I would get those, too.

Just got these today and right out of the box they were a dreamy fit. I wear a 9.5m and ordered the same - lovely! I also had the Keen Whispers sent to me. The Ahnu was a hand's down winner. I have a bunion on my right foot and a high instep and always need arch support. These went on like a breeze and I love the fully adjustable straps. Not one hot spot. I wore them to the store and back and did some inside walking and are very pleased with the fit. I normally wear Ecco shoes & sandals but am going to do some travel in Spain and need lightweight comfy shoes for the trip and these will fit the bill perfectly. They are also very cute and don't look clunky - a real find!

These shoes are great. Comfortable, well made, nice looking and enough support to make me feel very happy throughout the day. Yeah!
