These shoes are so comfortable. I sized down a half size from my usual. Thanks to Zappos's easy returns, I just bought both sizes I thought I could be and returned the one that didn't work. I got them for my upcoming trip to Maui but chose to wear them early at a festival I worked all weekend. I put a lot of hours in them and they were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Love these shoes! They fit perfectly and were very comfortable right out of the box! I have problematic feet, and I can walk for long periods in these shoes comfortably with no pain. Very pleased!

Love these shoes but not enough arch support because I over pronate. Sad they didn't work for me but recommend for others.

These shoes are a winner. First time I've had this brand. Best thing is that they came in size 10-1/2.

This is a comfortable walking shoe. With the adjustable straps behind the ankle and over the top, it is easy to customize to problem feet.

The clasp is difficult to open and close, especially if your are tightening up the shoe. In my case painful. But still very nice shoe if you can comfortably adjust the clasp.

Of the 3 shoes I tried (Keen Bali strap and JBU Jetty Encore), this felt the best right out of the box. I wish it had Microban, though, as it is a heavier shoe than the others, and has a dark footbed. It is most like all my other athletic shoes. The arch support was "meh"--better on the JBU Jetty. The review choices don't allow for anything between "moderate" and "no" arch support, but I'd say these had little arch support. I really like the color (blue--called dark grey on the site). So although this will be best for my intended use--beachcombing on rocky beaches, and walking on wet slippery rocks--it is a BEAR to adjust these straps. There is only one place to adjust the straps and it tightens everything at once, but it is very tiny and very difficult to feed the strap through the hardware. And you can't just "set it and forget it"--you have to undo it each time you remove the shoe, and then re-do it when you put it back on. It is the clunkiest looking of the 3 I tried, but I need the sturdiness for my intended use.

I really like this shoe! Very adjustable - even for those narrow feet - size 9 felt great - (normal size for my feet). I did have to adjust it up so the front straps were a bit "draggy" - I tucked them under and it looked like it would work well. I would have loved to take off in these - however my right foot has some crazy thing going on with my instep. Not the shoe's fault - just my faulty feet. Give these a try - though -- I think you will be pleased. Felt very light weight - not clunky at all.

Cute, comfortable and supportive. What more could you want? This is a great sandal for long walks/ hiking.

I am so thankful for these reviews steering me toward these most awesome shoes! I have terrible feet/toes that hurt after a few hours no matter how well shoes seem to fit when I buy them. The Ahnu Tilden V toe box is very roomy and the shoes are super light weight and adjustable.Although they are not specifically "wide" they feel good..not tight, not sloppy. I put them on and never wanted to take them off. Because I got the black ones, I can (shhhh) wear thin dark socks underneath here in New England and you cannot even tell...they just look like innocuous shoes and then, with a little tug on the adjustable strap, they fit with bare feet. I do not think the arch support is as good as some people claimed; they could use a bit more support. I have finally found something beyond open sandals that I can walk in for unlimited amounts of time.

Ordered these shoes along with Keen Vinece H2. While the Keen looks nice and wide, it was painfully narrow. The Ahnu looked more narrow, but fit great! Looks well made, cute, and is very comfortable. Love that the strap in back allows the heel to open a bit for easier off/on. And love the clever, easy to use locking buckle on the front! The heel is somewhat closed, so there is no sliding out back when wet. Protected toes too. I think this will be the perfect walking shoe for wet conditions.

I usually wear a 7 to 7.5 and the size 7 fit fine. There are comfortable out of the box. Will see how they do on a 3 week to Costa Rica in the near future. But I am expecting to be very pleased.

I had to size down from a 7 to a 6.5. Fit great. Love the style. All other brands are so clunky looking. Keepers.

I ordered four different Keens styles and these shoes for my 13 year old daughter to try on. She's worn Keens for years but didn't like any of the adult sized Keens I ordered. Yay for Ahnu! Lightweight, comfy, adjustable, toes protected, arch support, perfection!

Sandals for high instep are hard to find. I have a comfortable, cute ahnu sandal with a "T" top so I was hopeful that despite not offered as a wide that the toebox and instep would fit- which they did! The elastic over the instep was tight but has been stretching while the strap is lose. These were to replace Casco Bay Privos that I wore when from when this style first came out 2008?. Difference is rubber bottom gets sweaty vs a more cloth liner. This time getting a back up pair.

My first try with Ahnu Brand, and Ya hoo a keeper. Due to my limited mobility with "inlaid spine of metal" unable to bend thus no laces and pretty much limited to slip-ons using my 24"shoe horn. These are keepers!!! only minus could use more arch support.

I bought these shoes for kayaking. I love them! Although they fit a little wide in the toe area they are extremely comfortable, supportive, and they don't ride up too high in the back.

These are cute. I haven't worn them yet but Ahnu shoes are a favorite of mine. They are comfortable and cute.

Great sandals, I struggle with planter faciastis so the correct shoes are very important and these seem to work, there is adequate support and they are comfortable on my feet. I like that the top is also adjustable.

These are unbelievably comfortable. They feel like tennis shoes with the added benefit of getting the breeze of sandals. The soles make it feel like I'm walking on clouds. Ever since I received them I have been wearing them every day. I have plenty of other shoes to choose from but the comfort of these trumps all other shoes. I definitely recommend them!

These are the best! Comfort and a bit more style the other types of all terrain sandal. Totally adjustable from the arch through the heel for a perfect fit. I have a bit of a wide foot so really appreciate that, but my friend has a narrow foot and could totally adjust it for her comfort.

Great for summer. Super comfortable. Wore them all day at NO jazz fest with no problems. Like the adjustable straps for perfecting the fit.

I have worn my pair of Ahnu Tilden shoes for an entire school year and they still look new. They are without a doubt, the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I purchased them due to my plantar fasciitis and after a long day at work I am pain free! I also wear these shoes with a skirt or pants. They go with everything.

I am delighted with these sandals. They fit perfectly, are a style/color that goes with everything. Haven't tested the quick dry feature yet but all else is as described.

I found that these sandals ran a little bigger than average. I usually wear 7.5, so that is the size that I purchased; however, I noticed extra room in the toe area. I called Zappos to switch them for a size 7. The customer service representative did all of the work for me, and all I had to do was take the old labels off the shipping box and put it on the front step for next day pick up and I also received my size 7 next day delivery! What a fast swap and great response to my needs! The size 7 sandals fit perfectly and my feet feel great and supported with no wiggle room. This is just one of many reasons that I am a repeat customer! Thank you Zappos!
