These things are beasts. I often liken them to trucks for your feet. Kinda heavy, a little clunky, but solid and able to go through anything unscathed. The only problem I've encountered was that the eyelets have a fairly sharp edge and my laces are becoming shredded. The laces are also very long. Too long, so maybe that's their way of trimming them, I don't know. Kind of a pain. Besides those two laces complaints, good all-terrain, Gore-Tex trail shoes.

It's a great shoe, but the whole boot is not so water proof

I have been wearing these shoes for years and continue to buy them. They are durable and the gore tex keeps my feet dry when in wet brush, grass and muddy trails. I would like them in a bit wider side. I have the low and high top shoes

I like this. I wished to have a water resistant shoes good for severe winter in Chicago. Very robust. Little bit heavy, but not too much big and I will use for commuting to my office in downtown.

Excellent waterproof trail shoe. I have had same shoes (size 9) for the last two years. However since the last four months, I have suffered from drop foot stemming out spinal injury and have to wear a knee-high ankle foot orthotic (AFO). I did get a much larger size (10.5) to accommodate the AFO but this type of trail shoe did not work because of relatively higher heel for AFO. So I had to return the same. Bought orthotic friendly Saucony shoes.

Use the shoes for work, I own two pizza stores work seven days a week and always on my feet. Never have a problem slipping on tiled floors , they clean up very easily and are very comfortable!

The only problem of this shoe is that my toes feel very stuffy due to the rubber protection material over the toe area. The overall breathbility is still not good enough. Besides this, it's a good pair of shoes.

This was the first time I have ordered from this company, Reading the reviews helped me make my decision, however the tennis shoes are to small will have to return for a bigger size. The boots are for Christmas so unsure how they fit.

Wearing 15 year old shoes and then shoes now, I see that shoes are being made wider than in the past. These shoes are too wide for my narrow medium width feet. I really have to lace them tight to even make them work. I should have gotten the waterproof Columbia Women's WP Conspiracy III or Women's' WP Redmond when I first tried them on but they sold out by the time I went back. Half the shoes I own are women's because they are more narrow than men's. Arch support is provided by the foot muscles so I never know what the question about arch support in the shoe means?!?!

I've had a pair of Northface shoes for over ten years and finally replaced them with this pair which I imagine to be the newer version. Hope it lasts like the last pair!

Great looking pair of shoes. I've only worn them a couple of times, but they're already comfortable and I'd imagine they'll only get better as i wear them more. I would recommend getting a pair of insoles, but i almost always get a pair for any athletic shoe i buy.

So far I have hike about 20 miles in my Hedgehogs and they feel great. They are a little heavy out of the box, and I replaced the insoles with sport/gel insoles for my personal comfort. Laces are a little too long and have to be double knotted so as not to trip. Otherwise, very comfortable out of the box, no need to "break in". Looking forward to my trip to Glaciers National Park for a true work-out of these hiking shoes.

I really like The North Face hiking shoes. I have several pairs in different colors and but I did not have a New Taupe Green pair to go with my Greenridge and Arroyo cargo pants. the color of the shoes matches the pants perfectly. I tried them out on a short hike and my feet felt perfect afterwards.
