I use the product for school. The padding on the back makes your backpack fit tight and snug on your back and really gives you that close comfort feel. It is really sturdy and you know it will last you a long time. The two pockets on the outside are great for holding water bottles and plenty of pockets and deep storage so you have room for everything. I highly recommend this backpack to anyone who is looking to buy one.

Awesome backpack with lots of thoughtful details and pockets. Straps are comfortable with enough padding for heavy weight contents. Has proven to be rugged and super durable. I think it will last a very long time. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I bought this backpack for my daughter and she loves it. We wanted something sturdy and stylish and she would have no other! North face has quality products that last for years. Color was spot on too.

I mainly use this backpack for school. I am a college student and do lots of walking from class to class. This backpack is great for all of my text books and laptop. What's even better is when it's packed full and after a long walk to class it is still comfortable. Lastly this backpack is also good for backpacking and day trips because of the easily adjustable straps and the vented padding the backpack provides. Overall I have no complaints about this back pack and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fashionable yet comfortable backpack.

I am a college student and use this bag mainly for my daily to and fro to college. The bag is very sturdy and seems that it will last for a long time. However, the bag space isn't very much. One folder, one book and one laptop along with some other stuff pretty much takes up all of the back compartment. The front compartment is nice and has many sub compartments and this helps in keeping stuff organised. One nice surprise for me is that it had a fleece lined pocket in the front. Overall I like this bag.

My daughter loves her new backpack. It's sturdy, functional, and built well. This will last a long time. Definitely worth the money.

I use this product for school. It has pockets to carry my everyday needs like water bottle, computer, folders and anything else I would need. It fits very comfortable and doesn't feel like it's too tight.

This backpack is great for high school and college students. The newer version is definitely better than the older version and I would suggest you would upgrade for the better one. The back support is CRAZY good. And in the picture the bungee cords are a different colour if you order the all black one, (its sorta more grey in real life) but overall I hope this bag will give me many more years of intense use!

I use for school and travel! My previous Borealis backpack lasted two years!! I've always had to purchase a new one yearly until now. It fits well and distributes weight evenly - I would never buy another brand again

I was hesitant to purchase this because of the price but I'm so glad I did. Feels weightless on my back and has great storage space. Great in the rain!

We used this backpack on a trip to Europe for our honeymoon. It really held up well over the travel and the available colors made choosing one that my wife likes very easy. Overall, very versatile. Plenty of space and aesthetically pleasing.

This is my first backpack from North Face. Very comfortable with lots of pockets for storage. Greaty quality.

Good for the everyday work/school commuter with notebooks and 17 inch laptop. Laptop sleeve holds well but doesn't seem to have a lot of give (if your laptop is bulky then it will fill up the sleeve and the sleeve doesn't stretch much). Can fit 2-3 notebooks, laptop, and textbook at best, and the backpack doesn't sink down and give you a hunchback at full capacity. The chest straps are thin, not meant for a super heavy load for travel/hiking in my opinion. Perfect for someone in the Silicon Valley. The water bottle sleeve are good for small/medium bottles/thermoses. Being a tall guy it fits my back and doesn't look overwhelmingly huge, but still is a big backpack. Zippers seem to get caught during the first few weeks but then run smoothly after some wear, can be a bit annoying at some points

I bought this backpack for a Christmas present for my daughter. She is a college student and definitely needs something that's going to last (and looks cute). This backpack goes above and beyond all of that! I would highly recommend Northface backpacks to anyone interested in quality, performance, and looks!

Top notch quality!

My boyfriend had an old North Face backpack from high school more than 10 years ago. It was such good quality that it lasted this long but now has holes in it. The Borealis was a replacement for it. Love the material, love the colors, and the quality is excellent. He uses it daily to go to work. We are hoping it to last just as long as the last one :)

This product is awesome. I love the built quality and the toughness it packs within. It has a lot of compartments to fit you need for the day or even for the week along with a laptop section.
